FERPAgrantsfourspecificrightstothestudent:• Therighttoreviewandinspecttheireducationalrecords;• Therighttohavetheireducationalrecordsamendedorcorrected;• Therighttolimitdisclosureofsomeportionsoftheireducationalrecords;and• TherighttofileacomplaintwiththeU.S.DepartmentofEducationconcerningallegedfailuresby

institutionstocomplywiththeact.
