Songkran

During Songkran the thai people soak each other with water.

The reason they do this is because the water is supposed to be a symbol of washing all of the bad in away.

The Songkran starts in April and it is their traditional New Year because Thai people believe that Buddha was born before God therefore they believe that it is the future right now so in Thailand they believe that it is 2554.
