2017 MONTANA PRCA PRO RODEO CIRCUIT FINALS

Montana PRCA Board Of Directors

LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENTOn behalf of the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Board I would like to welcome you to our Annual Montana PRCA Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals. Montana has always been known for producing World Class Professional Rodeo Athletes and this year is no exception.

Contestants in all seven events have competed all year long to qualify for the prestigious PRCA Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals. With every title on the line you can bet contestants will be battling it out trying to collect their share of the largest payoff in the history of the Montana PRCA Pro Rodeo Finals.

Once the year-end champions along with the average winners of the finals are determined, they will then qualify to compete at the RAM National Circuit Finals at its new home in Kissimmee, Florida. We would like to thank you, our dedicated pro rodeo fans and sponsors, for helping us to make this the great event that it is.

The Montana PRCA Pro Rodeo Circuit with 35 Montana PRCA Pro Rodeos strong and the Montana High School Rodeo Association have joined together in support of promoting rodeo to the younger generation. The top six Montana High School Saddle Bronc and Bareback Riders will compete at the ANNUAL MPRF High School Rough Stock Challenge during each of the three pro rodeo performances. Don’t forget to check out the North 40 Ranch Rodeo on Saturday to see true ranch cowboys from across Montana demonstrating the true form of daily ranch work chores.

So sit back and enjoy the ride while Montana’s finest PRCA professional cowboys and cowgirls compete for their respective titles on some of the rankest bucking stock in the world.

Sincerely yours,

Jim Croff MPRC President

THE PRO RODEO CIRCUIT SYSTEMThe Circuit System is part of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association to encourage greater participation and interest in rodeos through a championship system on the regional level. To that end, the United States has been divided into 12 geographic Circuits together with one or more International Circuits, governed by separate co-sanctioned agreements, outside of the U.S. (collectively “Circuits”), all of which are detailed on the map. International Circuits may be added or subtracted from time to time.

J.R. Vezain is coming home. And he’s glad of that. “I love it there at the Circuit Finals,” he said. “I haven’t been there since 2011.” The Wyoming cowboy hasn’t competed in the Montana Circuit for some time, ever since winning the year-end all-around championship seven years ago. He also won a Circuit saddle in the bareback that year. Vezain has extensive family in the Great Falls area. He and his wife Shelby (Newman) recently moved to Melstone. So now the National Finals Rodeo veteran is a bona fide Treasure State star. “It certainly feels like home,” he said. “That circuit finals is definitely the best so I’m glad to be heading back there.” Vezain enters the Circuit Finals with a lead of about $4,300 over Jessy Davis of Power. Vezain’s 2017 season included wins at Billings at the NILE, Miles City and a co-approved event in Coeur d’Alene. He finished second at the prestigious Home of Champions in Red Lodge.

Cody Tew - Cody won his second Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit year-end championship last January, and the veteran header hopes to repeat. “Absolutely,” said the 30-year-old team roper. “It’s something I definitely want to do again. I was able to do it a year ago and hopefully we can get it done again.” Tew, who grew up in Belgrade and lives now part of the time in Texas, roped with heeler Matt Robertson for much of the 2016 Circuit season. He also competed with Justin Viles. A year ago, Tew teamed with Chase Tryan to win the MPRF average. This year he will rope with Robertson. There are many former NFR stars in the team roping at this year’s MPRF. “It’s going to be darn-sure competitive,” said Tew, who leads the heading standings by about $1,300. He plans to ride “Cunu,” a 21-year-old sorrel gelding who is a master in small buildings. “We’ve had him forever,” said Tew. “Even back in the high school rodeo days. He just fits the setup at Four Seasons so well. He isn’t the fastest, most powerful horse out there. But he’s good at getting great starts and good finishes, in the corner when the area’s tighter like that. I know he’s old, but he’s so darn good it’s hard to get off him. He just knows what he’s doing and takes such darn good care of me.”

Matt Robertson - Matt is among the top team ropers in Treasure State history. And that’s either as a header or

heeler. “It doesn’t matter. I just love team roping,” he said. Robertson, 36, has made 15 trips to the Circuit Finals. He qualified for the National Finals Rodeo in 2001 when he was still a teenager. He now has a roping camp and trains horses at his Arizona home, but the Augusta native is still all about the Treasure State and the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit. “You know, it’s just a fun Circuit,” said Robertson, who leads the heeling standings by about $3,800 entering the Circuit Finals. “Getting to rope with friends is such a great thing. It’s kind of like a big family, going rodeo to rodeo. You work hard all week and get to go see family and friends every weekend. As far as the Circuit goes, it’s always a goal to win that sonofagun.” Robertson won the NILE with Brady Tryan. His summer included a victory at Fort Benton and was second in White Sulphur Springs with his brother, Clay Robertson. Matt will rope with Cody Tew at the MPRF. “We’re hoping to finish what we got started,” Robertson said. He’s won two Circuit year-end titles in the heading and two more in the heeling. “The Circuit Finals pays so good, so anybody who’s only five or six thousand back could damn-sure win it if they had a good finals,” he said. “It makes it fun, that’s for sure,” he said. It’s expected that Robertson will be riding “Teddy,” a 15-year-old dun. “He’s rock solid,” Robertson said. “I’ve had him the last few years and he’s been pretty phenomenal.”

Scott Guenthner is a Canadian cowboy who has found a home in the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit. “I’ve declared it for five years or so, but I didn’t go that hard down here,” said the 26-year-old from Alberta. “But now all the money counts toward the world standings, so I went a little bit harder down here last year and I had a little bit of luck.” No kidding, Guenthner won Circuit events in Belt, Billings and Miles City. He also earned first place in co-approved events in Coeur d’Alene and Spokane and enters the Circuit Finals with a whopping lead of about $11,000. Guenthner is coming off his first appearance at the National Finals Rodeo. He travels with fellow Canadian Tanner Milan. Guenthner lives in Provost, Alberta, which is located northeast of Calgary about a seven-hour drive from Great Falls.

Jesse Kruse is the only world champion in the history of Great Falls rodeo. And he’s back in familiar territory on top of the saddle bronc leaderboard at the Montana Circuit Finals. But that’s not to say it was an easy year for the 2009 world champ. Kruse has battled serious hip and knee injuries in recent years–the latter took away his entire 2016 season–and has struggled to find the form that led to three straight National Finals Rodeo appearances from 2009-11. But that championship form is still there all right. Two years ago at the Circuit Finals, Kruse competed on a bad knee that later required surgery and dazzled the Four Seasons Arena crowds en route to winning his third Circuit championship. This summer he had significant saddle issues and didn’t travel extensively, yet still led all Circuit saddle bronc stars in earnings. Kruse won the bronc riding in Augusta, Drummond, Glasgow and White Sulphur Springs, and enters the MPRF with a lead of about $400 in the race for a championship saddle. Last October at the NILE in Billings, Kruse turned in a 90-point ride that proved he’s on the comeback trail. The C.M. Russell High and University of Montana graduate has been working for 3 Brothers Plumbing and Heating in Clancy and is glad to be in Great Falls for the Circuit Finals. “It’s not only the bronc riding, but it’s great to come home and see family,” he said. “And on top of it the fans are so good to me here. Shoot, they’re good to everybody. They make it feel like a small NFR. And you can’t beat that.”

Chad Johnson is no stranger to championships in the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit. But the 2017 season was unique just the same for the Cut Bank tie-down roper. Johnson’s family now includes son Davis, who turned 2 in August, and daughter Ruby, who was born last June a few weeks prior to the Belt Rodeo. In fact, it was the Belt event that provided a successful start for the four-time Circuit champion, who in recent years skipped the event in favor of rodeos north of the border. “I’ve been to Belt a lot of times with my father,” Johnson said back on Father’s Day in June. “But this is my first time there as a father. And that sure makes it fun.” Johnson also won in Chinook and Glasgow last summer and enters the Circuit Finals with a lead of about $700.

Shelly Anzick has been to the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals before and so has her prized mount “Scooter.” In 2013, Anzick rode Scooter, a 13-year-old dark brown gelding, to three straight go-round victories en route to year-end Circuit and MPRF average triumphs in the barrel racing. Though the horse was sidelined with an injury in 2016, both Anzick and Scooter are back in the limelight now. “It’s kind of fun when you hope he comes back and when you hop on he’s just like he was,” said Anzick, who first rode Scooter during the mid-summer Last Chance Stampede in Helena. “We were against some of the top girls in the U.S. in Helena and Missoula and Billings, and (Scooter) ran right with them. That was pretty exciting for me.” Anzick won events in Bozeman and Missoula aboard Scooter. Her Circuit season also included second-places finishes in Kalispell and Stanford. She enters the Circuit Finals with a lead of just $300 over Rene Cloninger of Helena. “It’s a game-changer now because it counts toward the NFR,” said Anzick, a 15-time MPRF qualifier who lives now in Shepherd. “With all the money you’re able to win at the Circuit Finals, it’s more exciting for folks.” Anzick, a two-time MPRC year-end winner, is a former Ram Circuit Finals national champion. She hopes to get back to Kissimmee this year. “Scooter is plenty fast enough to do it if I can get around ‘em OK,” Anzick said. “He’s darn-sure capable.

Parker Breding began the 2017 season with hopes of qualifying for another National Finals Rodeo.

But the first half of his season didn’t go well. “So I started sticking around Montana and was having way more fun anyhow,” said the Edgar bull rider. “It’s always important for me to make it to the Circuit Finals. That’s one of those I don’t want to miss, because it’s fun inside and outside of the arena.” Breding, who has two Circuit championships to his credit, leads this year’s standings by about $8,000. His victories included rodeos at Great Falls, Shelby, Bozeman and Chinook. He also placed second in Belt and Dillon. A berth in the Ram Circuit Finals, where MPRF year-end and average champions are bound, is always the goal for Breding. He’s been there five times and has twice won national championships. The 25-year-old former Joliet high school basketball star is the son of Scott Breding, a three-time Montana Circuit champion bull rider who qualified five times for the NFR.

Hank Hollenbeck enjoyed a memorable 2017 summer. And not just because the veteran cowboy is once again in position to claim year-end all-around honors in the Montana Circuit. Hollenbeck, a two-time Circuit all-around champ from Molt, welcomed a baby boy, Rhett, to the family last summer. “It’s pretty exciting,” Hollenbeck said. “He’s real energetic, so it makes it easy to leave and also makes it real fun to come back home.” The talented Hollenbeck competes in steer wrestling, team roping and tie-down roping.

“The all-around just kind of happens,” he said. “You just try to do the best you can in each individual event and see where you are at the end.” Hollenbeck won the tie-down roping in Stanford and placed second in the event in Cascade. At Chinook, he won all-around honors by placing in all three of his events. In addition to his two year-end all-around Circuit titles, he’s won three MPRF all-around championships. He’s also won a year-end Circuit championship in tie-down roping. Hollenbeck enters the Circuit Finals with a lead of about $11,000 in the race for another year-end all-around championship.

The Miss Rodeo Montana Pageant is entering its seventh decade, having begun during the 1950s. Miss Rodeo Montana serves as Montana’s “First Lady of Rodeo”. She attends Montana’s professional rodeos, appears in parades and at many community events throughout the state, gives speeches to clubs and organizations, numerous radio and television interviews, and coordinates kiddie rodeos. She will also travel to some of the larger rodeos in the U.S. and Canada, representing Montana and promoting our own rodeos.

Becoming Miss Rodeo Montana takes a young lady with high moral and ethical character, an accomplished speaker and public relations specialist. She must understand rodeo in its entirety and be able to explain it in detail to anyone she meets, always portraying good sportsmanship and careful, humane

treatment of animals. The experiences she’ll have and the contacts she’ll make through the year will provide numerous opportunities for her future.

At the end of her year of reign, Miss Rodeo Montana travels to Las Vegas, Nevada, to compete for the title of Miss Rodeo America during a rigorous week-long competition against other state title-holders. For more information visit www.missrodeomontana.com

2018 HIGH SCHOOL ROUGHSTOCK CHALLENGE

Cascade PRCA RodeoCascade PRCA Rodeo Committee

Four years ago, the Montana PRCA Pro Rodeo Circuit and the Montana High School Rodeo Association (MHSRA) have joined together to organize the first ever High School Rough Stock Challenge at the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals. The brainchild of the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Board, the Montana High School Rough Stock Challenge was the first event of its kind at any PRCA rodeo in the nation which engages youth and encourages them to participate in the sport of pro rodeo. The program exposes youth to a larger audience and helps them get a start in rodeo. Jim Croff president of the Montana PRCA Pro Rodeo Circuit Board stated, “This is a Montana Pro Rodeo program to help increase youth involvement in the sport of rodeo and we are excited to have been the first Professional Rodeo Circuit to come up with such a program involving youth.” The top high school contestants in the bareback and saddle bronc riding will compete throughout the 3 days of the MPRF. Two bareback riders and four saddle bronc riders will compete for each of the first two nights of the rodeo and the top three in each event will come back to compete on Sunday during the final round. The goal of the rough stock challenge event is to give youth that are interested in rough stock rodeo events, an opportunity to get out there and ride with the pros.

The rough stock for the event has been chosen to fit the competitors and they will also get to spend one-on-one time with the pro judges. Lane Yeager, MHSRA President emphasizes the importance of providing young people in rodeo with opportunities that will help them succeed. This event intends to provide this year’s contestants with new opportunities as well as raise interest in those who may want to be bareback or saddle bronc riders in the future. The Montana High School Rough Stock Challenge provides a new way to provide these opportunities for Montana’s rodeo youth. The Montana PRCA Pro Rodeo Board piloted the idea and hopes to get young bareback and saddle bronc riders in front of a broader audience as well as encourage those who may be the future of pro rodeo to become involved. The rough stock challenge helps complete the big circle that keeps pro rodeo alive as the older generation hands down opportunities to young competitors and help secure the future of PRCA rodeo.

The Montana High School Rough Stock Challenge was made possible through a youth educational and outreach grant from the Montana PRCA Pro Rodeo Circuit and it’s Board of Directors to engage youth of Montana in the sport of rodeo.

The high school competitors will each receive trophy vests complements of Courtney Higgins of Rodeo Rigs, LLC, Justin gear bags complements of Hoglunds Western Wear of Great Falls, contestant back patches donated by Dean & Barb Clark. The top riders in saddle bronc and bareback events will each receive a trophy buckle awarded by the Cascade PRCA Rodeo Committee who host the annual Cascade PRCA Pro Rodeo the first part of August.

K.C. has always been around the rodeo set up competing at High School and Professional rodeos. During High School he roped calves, steer wrestled and team roped. His favorite event was the tie down roping. Before starting his PRCA career as a pickup man, he would help out picking up at open rodeos and Ranch Rodeo Bronc ridings. Five years ago he decided to take it to the next level and buy his card to be a PRCA Pickup man. He mainly picks up for Brookman Rodeo and Sankey Rodeo, staying in Montana. K.C and his wife Sarah (Scott) Verhelst along with their three children, Paisley (8), Quill (6) and Hawkins (3) live and work on the “S” Ranch at Pryor, Montana. The one thing K.C. Verhelst is most proud of is that all of his pickup horses were born and raised on the “S” Ranch (Scott Ranch). Keeping with the foundation bloodlines of Doc O Dynamite, Paddys Irish Whiskey and Peptoboonsmal.

BERVA DAWN KESLER Timer - Helena, MT

Berva Dawn Kesler is no newcomer to the business of rodeo and has spent most of her life traveling between the US and Canada working as a timer and secretary for the Kesler Rodeo Company. When she’s not traveling from rodeo to rodeo, Berva Dawn works in the nursing field. Her son, Kurtis also travels and does all of the sound and music at many of the rodeos. “It’s a family business and we all work together to get the job done.“ Berva Dawn has timed at the Montana Circuit Finals many times and is looking forward to doing it again this year!

JUDY KESLER Secretary - Helena, MT

Judy Kesler will be handling the secretarial duties for the Montana PRCA Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals. Judy has been behind the scenes at several rodeos in the U.S. and Canada, either as secretary or timer for the family owned businesses of Kesler Rodeo Company and Kesler Championship Rodeo. Judy stated that the business is a family affair and you do whatever it takes to make the business run, such as being the secretary, a timer or maybe both at the rodeos. “You do it for the family,

with no big hoopla.”

JOYCE KESLER Timer - ARIZONA

Born and raised on a ranch east of Belt, MT, Joyce Kesler still calls Montana home. She is a Gliko from Belt and stated that she has lots of relatives in Montana. She and her husband, Gordy, who is a PRCA judge, live in Arizona, but travel to Montana for the summers. While Gordy is down in the arena judging the rodeos you can find Joyce up in the Announcer Booth timing the rodeo. Joyce hated to say how many years she has been timing, just said, “lots and lots.” Joyce feels that the whole State of Montana is her home and hopes to maybe move back at some time. She enjoys golfing, reading and being in the sun. She says, “I was country before country was not cool.”

J.D. HARRELLBullfighter - Roy, MTJ.D. Harrell started his bullfighter career while competing in High School Rodeos. At many of the high school rodeos they would need a bullfighter, so J.D. would compete on his bull and then protect the other competitors. He stepped out and bought his PRCA card three years ago and after working for several Stock Contractors, such as Brookman Rodeo, Sankey Rodeo and Gunderson, he was selected by the bull riders as one of the bullfighters to protect them at this year’s Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals. This will be his first finals and feels honored he was selected. He stated that he learned how to fight bulls by a lot of “Hard Knocks.” Apparently, Al Sandvold, past Circuit Finals Bullfighter and this year’s other Bullfighter, Kaleb Barrett, saw something special in J.D. and started working with him. J.D. Harrell grew up in Roy, MT and still remains there running his welding business and driving truck. His family includes his dad and mom, Dave and Laurie, and two brothers, Jordan and Justin.

JJ HARRISONClown/Barrelman

JJ Harrison is doing what he has dreamed of since he was a little boy…entertaining people by being himself. JJ has been around rodeo as a competitor, committee person, contract act and fan. He gives the audience something to watch at every break in the rodeo action. His “walk and talk” antics in conjunction with his dancing, continue to excite fans. JJ has made fast work of a clowning career. With the help of fat suits and dancing, he entertains with high energy family fun that can entertain across the whole age spectrum. As a former teacher he knows the balance of physical humor and acts to keep even the avid rodeo fan entertained. His favorite quote is: “It’s not an act, it really is just who I am. I really am that goofy.”

This entertainer is sure to be a welcome site to any rodeo!

KALEB BARRET BullfighterRodeo has always been a major part of Kaleb’s life. He started fighting bulls when he was 19 and has been blessed to be a professional. “It is full-filling to be there for my fellow cowboys when they are in a time of need.” He strives to learn from every bull, provide ultimate protection for the bull riders and promotes rodeo every chance he gets.

For the ninth year in a row, the bull riders in the Montana Circuit have selected Kaleb Barrett to be one of the bullfighters protecting them at the Montana Circuit Finals. He looks forward to the Montana Circuit Finals each year and the electric atmosphere that the Four Seasons is filled with during every sold out performance. When he is not in the arena fighting bulls, Kaleb is a Registered Nurse at St. Pat’s Hospital in Missoula. He and his wife, Shawna are expecting their own “bull calf” in May. He jokes about that comment as the ranch people he talks to understand it, but others don’t really see the humor. He thanks God for every day he gets to go down the road to another rodeo.

Vezain, the Wyoming native who lives now in Melstone, wound up fourth in the world standings after finishing third in the NFR average. He placed in six go-rounds, including the final three. Vezain also shared first place in the sixth go. Vezain, 25, has already made five trips to the NFR. The former high school wrestling state champion has become one of the best bareback riders in the world and is a former year-end champion in both the bareback and the all-around at the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals. Vezain, known among rodeo fans for his long red locks

and fiery riding style, and his wife Shelby (Newman) have now moved to Melstone and are living on the family ranch. “It’s the original ranch house that was on the place,” Vezain said. “We fixed it up. I think we’re the ninth or 10th ones (in the Newman family line) that have lived there. “I’ve been super blessed this year,” Vezain said prior to the NFR. “Drew really good and riding really good. My health is 100 percent and hopefully I can rock and roll and bring home some hardware.” He said his family – and his faith – provide big boosts. “When you put your faith in God you don’t have to worry about yourself too much,” Vezain said. “I’ve been staying focused and getting ready for is. Hopefully everything works out.”

Erickson, the former Montana State cowboy who made his fourth straight NFR appearance, placed in five go-rounds and finished second in the world standings with 2017 earnings of more than $263,000. “I want to express how fun it was everyday to be in the race for that prestigious buckle,” Erickson said to his fans in a Facebook message. “I enjoyed this year’s finals more than I had ever before. As always, I am blessed with the most loving family, friends and fans. You all push me, help me and make it an exciting journey I’ll never forget.” Erickson has won four Montana Circuit year-end championships in the bulldogging and has claimed the MPRF average title three times.

Tanner Milan, also making his first NFR appearance, won two go-rounds in Las Vegas. He finished eighth in the final world standings, two behind Guenthner.

Guenthner, 26, his first NFR experience was memorable. “It was pretty cool to win a go-round (the ninth round) at your first NFR,” he said. “It makes you really want to go hard again, that’s for sure, and get back to that place. It’s

quite a place to run a steer. It’s amazing. When you make a run there you remember how loud it gets.

CONGRATULATIONS NFR CONTESTANTS

Bird is regarded as among the top team ropers in Treasure State history. The 37-year-old former Cut Bank High star athlete made his fifth NFR trip last month and earned a go-round triumph for the sixth time in his brilliant roping career. Bird, who is approaching the $1 million mark in career PRCA earnings, has had abundant success in the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit. He has won three year-end Circuit all-around titles and is a two-time year-end winner in team roping. In addition, Bird once won a MPRF average title while competing with his Uncle Sam Bird, who is also regarded as one of the top ropers in Montana history. Bird recently became engaged to be married to his longtime girlfriend, Alicia. Their son, Stockton Daniel Bird, turned a year old in October. So life is different. “Yes, it’s changed. And it’s all for the better,” Bird said. “This little guy makes every day go a lot better.” Bird has plenty of horsepower. It’s expected he’ll be riding “Yahtzee,” a big grey with a super track record, at the Circuit Finals.

2017 MONTANA PRCA PRO RODEO CIRCUIT FINALS

The 2017 Keith Peterson Lifetime Achievement Award was awarded to Doug Wall. When you think of a true cowboy, Doug Wall comes to mind. He was very passionate and dedicated to the sport of rodeo. Especially to the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit. Doug worked his way up the ladder of rodeo success by starting his career riding Bareback Horses at the age of 13. Doug would work on ranches and the Sale Yards to earn money to pay for his entry fees and rent. He also rode Saddle Broncs and Steer Wrestled during his career. After retiring from the competing side of rodeo he started working as a pickup man for several Pro Rodeo Stock Contractors. Doug Wall was selected as a pickup man for the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals nine years and helped out with the rough stock at the National Finals Rodeo for 20 years. Jay Shaw stated in his letter of nomination, “Doug helped me in many ways to make my aspirations of becoming a PRCA pickup man come true.” Outside of the arena, Doug was always promoting the sport of Rodeo. He would sell between 120-170 Montana Pro Rodeo Cash Calendars for the circuit. The money raised from the sale of these calendars goes toward the pay-out at the circuit finals for the contestants. Doug Wall was very proud to be a part of the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit. Doug was nominated by Cathy Wieferich, Brookman Rodeo and Jay Shaw, PRCA Pickup Man.

Tyrell Smith, Tyler Friend, Tristan Hansen and Wyatt Hurst all wrote letters of nomination for Jake Hayworth. Jake has been a mentor to these 4 fellow saddle bronc riders and several others. He has taken several upcoming “roughies” under his wing, coaching them on their riding skills and also the business side of rodeo. Tyrell Smith stated that Jake showed him how to be self-sufficient when it comes to entering and planning a successful rodeo season. Tyler Friend said, “Jake always expressed the need for a college education and I am thankful for his leadership and direction concerning this part of my

life.” Tristan Hansen reiterated the previous statement by saying, “Jake’s coaching and support led to my high school, college and PRCA success.” All four of these fellow Saddle Bronc Riders stated that Jake Hayworth is the first one to call them to see how the rodeos went. A phone call might be 20 seconds to an hour or so. They will talk about what went right and discuss how to fix the things that went wrong. Jake Hayworth is one of the few old school cowboys left who is willing to put the time and effort into the high school startups and college cowboys.
