In 2013 Texas Legislature passed HB 5 which made substantial changes to the state's curriculum and graduation requirements.

EAGLE ATHLETICS

Multiple Sport Participation: We encourage all athletes to participate in

as many of our programs in which the student-athlete can contribute.

Each sport has its own athletic period built into the school day. UIL

guidelines dictate that the student-athletes may only have one athletic

period on their schedules. Coaches will provide guidance as to which

athletic period should be scheduled each given semester.

Physical Paperwork & Rank One: All incoming freshmen are required to have a new physical on file prior

to any form of athletic participation as a high school student. CCISD has made the transition to electronic

forms for athletic eligibility paperwork. All forms can be accessed at corpuschristiisd.rankonesport.com.

With the exception of the athletic physical, all paperwork can be filled out and submitted electronically

utilizing the website above. Free physicals will be offered in conjunction Promptu Immediate Care (5638

Saratoga #114) beginning in May.

Summer Camps: A variety of VMHS sports programs will be offering summer camps for students who are

incoming 9th graders and younger. It is recommended that you attend the camps of the sports that you

intend to play as a freshman. There will also be a free strength and conditioning camp for all athletes,

grades 7th-12th that will be offered throughout the summer.
