Terminal Graduate Registration (TGR) allows students to register at a reduced tuition rate while they work on a dissertation,thesis, or department project. Students registered in TGR status must enroll each quarter in a TGR course, either 801 or 802.Submit the petition prior to the beginning o the quarter or which the request is being made.

To be completed by student and department: indicate degree program or which TGR status is requested, and veriy eligibility

Ph.D. Satisactory completion o all courses on the Application or Candidacy; i the program has changed, anAcademic Program Revision orm must be approved by the department.

Accrual o 135 completed units o residency (or 10.5 terms or students on term-based residency) prior toTGR start quarter

Submission o Doctoral Dissertation Reading Committee orm to the department

Engineer Satisactory completion o all courses on the Application or Candidacy; i the program has changed, anAcademic Program Revision orm must be approved by the department.

Accrual o 90 completed units o residency (or 6 terms or students on term-based residency) prior to TGRstart quarter

M.A./M.S. Satisactory completion o all courses on the Program Proposal or a Master's Degree; i the program haschanged, an Academic Program Revision orm must be approved by the department.

Accrual o completed 45 units o residency (or 3 terms or students on term-based residency) prior to TGRstart quarter

This masters program requires project or thesis (Thesis etc. milestone, entered by department)

Final Satisactory completion o all course work and residency or the degree; available or allRegistration graduate degree programs ollowing reinstatement or leave o absence in order to coner the degree
