    New Balance Collegiate Invite:

One of the highlights of the regular season, the New Balance Collegiate Invite offers the most

talented competition available in one of the biggest meets on the East Coast. A talented grou

of Retrievers will take Manhattan over the course of two very hectic and action packed days.

In the sprints, look for Mercedes Jackson (AEC #1 60m) to rise to the occasion and sprint fo

slot in the 60 meter Championship finals, where if she was to make it, she would be brushing

elbows with the Nations elite. In the longer events, keep an eye on Kirsten Jones (AEC #1

400m) in the 400 meters, as she looks to dip under 57 seconds for the first time this year. Oth

highlights could be a stacked 500 meter field with Deborah Adelola, Paulette Fogle, and Cody

Mezebish taking the line (AEC #3, 4, & 10). Imani Colbert (AEC #3) and Chowan Brightful (AEC

#7) will form a formable duo in the 60m Hurdles. In the distance events, MK Kulp looks to br

into the Conference Top 10 a week after accomplishing the task in the 1,000 meters. The

highlight of the field events should be the double Amanda Deller will be looking to accomplis

With a personal best shot put (AEC #1) last week she will look to take over the Conference

rankings in the Weight Throw (AEC #3) as well.

On the mens side Trae Proctor will look to rebound after a false start last weekend in the sem

finals in the 60 meter hurdles (AEC #1). Senior Josh Hewitson will be looking to make a mark

the 500 meter dash (AEC #3), an event where he has placed on the podium in both the Amer

East and IC4A Championships. For the distance events, Andrew Smith will be looking for an IC

qualifying time and possible school record in the 800m (AEC #5) and Brandan McGee will go f

a sub 15 minute clocking in the 5,000 meters (AEC #9). Throws will once again highlight the fievents with Aaron Brooks (AEC #2 SP, #11 WT) and Cameron McDearmon (AEC #8 SP, #2 WT)

will pull double duty along with newcomer Chris Nash in the weight (AEC #5).

    Monica Hagenauer:

Having a personal best throw of a little over 38

feet coming into the meet, freshman MonicaHagenauer unleashed a bomb of 41-7.5 feet to win

the meet. It also pushed her up to #4 in the

    America East standings.
