TEXTUAL ANALYSISLocal newspaper focusing on their own city and the football being the main story, this connotes that the people want to get behind their city and there sport which is a stereotypical C1-C2 income bracket thing to do.

The sport being the main story also connotes how people of a C1-C2 income bracket stereotypically enjoy football as it is a lower income bracket sport unlike horse racing.

Representations of a local area are important to local newspapers as are issues relating to family’s.
