 Actividad 1: Mira el dibujo de la portada de la historia que vas a leer. ¿Qué ven en la portada? ¿Qué le sucede a Pollito? ¿Qué creen que hará Pollito?  Actividad 2: Lee las palabras. Ahora sabes que significa cada una. ¿Puedes deletrearlas?  Elige 2 palabras y escribe una oración con cada una.     Activity 1: Look at the drawing on the cover of the story, “Pollito”. What do you see on the cover? Make a prediction. What do you think will happen to Pollito? What do you think Pollito will do?  Activity 2: Read the vocabulary words for the story. See page 5. Do you know what each one means? Can you spell them? Choose 2 words and write a sentence with each word.

Dibuja lo que viste.   Activity 1: Read “Pollito”. If you were a bird in the story, what do you think you would see when you looked up outdoors? Write what you might see.  Activity 2: When you are outdoors look up. What do you see? Draw a picture of what you see.

Recortalas con la ayuda de un adulto y ponlas en el orden en que ocurren los eventos. Vuelve contar con tus propias palabras lo que sucede.  Actividad 2: Responde  ¿Con cuál animal se encuentra Pollito primero? ¿Con cuál animal se encuentra Pollito justo antes de encontrarse con el rey?    Activity: 1: Look at each of the pictures (see page 7). Cut them out with the help of an adult and put the events in order. Retell the story in your own words using the pictures.  

  Activity 2: Answer the following questions: Which animal does Pollito meet first?  Which animal does Pollito come across just before she meets the king?

Texto decodificable "Las llaves de la mona” (Página 8)  Actividad 1: Lee la historia. Encierra con un color las palabras que tengan ll. Léelas en voz alta y juega a deletrearlas.   Actividad 2: Encuentra estas palabras en la lectura:  

- Hace - Vez - Cuando - Entonces 

 Que le ocurrió a la mona?  Con quien se encontró la mona?    Activity 1: Read the story “Las llaves de la mona” on the bottom of page 8 of your packet. Circle the words that have the letter ll. Read the words aloud and practice spelling them.  Activity 2: Find these words in the text and circle them: 

- Hace - Vez - Cuando - Entonces 

 Answer the following questions on a piece of paper: What happened to the monkey? Who did the monkey meet?

Luego escribe una oración.    Activity 1: Read the text and table about verbs on page 9 of your packet. What are the children doing?  For Example: The girl is sweeping the floor.  Activity 2: Read the verb that describes each picture in the table below. What is each boy or girl doing?  Then write a sentence using each verb.

Recordemos el vocabulario (Página 9)  Actividad 1: Lee y deletrea las palabras del vocabulario del día 1.   Actividad 2: Escribe una oración con cada palabra. Haz un dibujo que represente tu oración.   Go to the bottom of page 9 in your packet to complete the following activities.  Activity 1: Read and spell the vocabulary words from Day 1. 

  

Activity 2: Write a sentence with each word. Draw a picture that represents each sentence.      

  

Recordemos las vocales (Página 10)  Actividad 1: Pinta los dibujos que comiencen con la vocal señalada.   Actividad 2: Completa con las vocales que faltan para formar los nombres de los animales.  Actividad 3: Lee cada palabra y las oraciones en voz alta.   Actividad 4: Dibuja la palabra. Colorea a tu mejor estilo!    Go to page 10 of your packet.  Activity 1: Color the pictures in each row that start with the vowel on the left.  Activity 2: Fill in the missing vowels to write the names of the animals pictured. 

 

  

Activity 3: Read each word and the sentences aloud.  Activity 4: Read each word and draw a picture to represent the word. Color in your pictures.
