The garment printer uses digital print technology not dissimilar to an ink jet printer do drop ink dot-on-demand onto a garment. This printer is a placement printer with a maximum print size of 355mm X 405mm. What can I print? - Any image, graphic or photo - Artwork which is your own design - Anything really as long as it fits within our print area. What can I print on? The printer will only print onto white or light based texle. The inks are what is known as transparent and will not show up on black. Where you see white in your artwork is where the printer will lay no ink. This is important to remember when prinng on pastel colours. The inks are made for natural fabrics and it is advisable to use 100% coon. Is the print permanent? We heat set to cure the ink so it is ready for washing. Remember to use accurate care labelling to best preserve the print quality. How do I provide artwork? We prefer a digital file, but can help if you don’t know how to do this. Any common file format used on PC or Mac will print such as JPEG, TIFF, PSD, AI, EPS. A 150dpi resoluon is preferred. Just remember to try and have the artwork at the same size you wish to print it to avoid and degradaon. It is also best to have specificaon prepared of where you want the artwork to be placed on the garment.
