CHECK-IN AT DALLAS FT WORTH AIRPORT: We recommend arriving at the airport at least 3 hours prior to departure. British Airways is located in TERMINAL D. The group will be checked in individually and checked luggage will be checked through to Dublin, Ireland. Each passenger will be issued 2 boarding passes: London (LHR) and Dublin (DUB). After check-in, each passenger must clear a security checkpoint before proceeding to the departure gate.

Once your group has cleared customs with claimed baggage, please proceed to the Arrivals area. Your tour guide, Muriel Moroney, will be waiting for you here to escort the group to the awaiting coach.

PERFORMANCES


PERFORMANCE PARTNER

Fingal Children’s Choir was founded alongside ‘Fingal Youth Choir’ in September 2014, by Michael Dawson and is conducted by Claire Sheedy. The choir performs regularly around the country and participates in competitions. In the choir’s first year last year they came 2nd in the Navan Choral festival , beating many choirs who have been going for years. The choir sings a wide range of music, last years pieces include ‘Happy’, ‘Counting Stars’, ‘Ave Maria’, “Caribbean Christmas Holiday’ and ‘Joshua fit the Battle of Jericho’. The choirs conductor Claire Sheedy on scholarship previously spent a year in Hungary studying choral conducting and music education in primary school children. The rehearsals are both intense and fun and the choir is a great way of improving children’s confidence, singing and making friends! As part of joining the choir each member is encouraged to participate in specially designed sight-reading classes. There are a different classes/levels for everyone and it is excellent for improving singer’s confidence in reading music.

Fingal Youth Choir was founded along side Fingal Children’s choir by Michael Dawson in September 2014. One of the highlights of 2014 was when the boys of the choir performed on season 2 of the T.V series “Vikings”. The choir performs a full mix of repertoire from popular pieces such as Bohemian Rhapsody to classical pieces and pieces in other languages. The director is Michael Dawson who also conducts Maynooth University Chamber Choir and Enchiriadis Chamber Choir, both of which have won awards Internationally. As part of joining the choir each member is encouraged to participate in specially designed sight-reading classes. There are a different classes/levels for everyone and it is excellent for improving singer’s confidence in reading music!
