Hello, My name is Talea Miller, and I just wanted to take some time out and share with you a miracle that God did for me. This occurred during my pregnancy with my first child. From the beginning I had issues with my blood pressure, but never did the doctor make a big issue out of it even though I asked ques- tions. However, time went on, and I began to swell really bad to the point I could not wear shoes or close my hands all the way. One Sunday morn- ing, I got up with my husband at 5 a.m. to see him off for work. He was on call, so I just figured I'd stay up to get our clothes and dinner prepared so I could go back to sleep until it was time to leave for Sunday School. As I was iron- ing the last shirt of our clothes, my water broke. This was my first child, so I wasn't sure what exactly was taking place. So I called my mom. Our church mom called my husband, and as that day went on my swelling was really bad. I had no pain or anything. That night I said, “I'll go get checked just to see what's going on.” Very big mistake. But God and His mercy... We went, and sure enough the pressure (from the medical professionals) began. My doc- tor came and said a large amount of my water had come out and my baby's heart rate was dropping. “Let us give you steroids to keep his heart rate up,” they said. “We're going to keep you to give you an ultrasound in the morning and go ahead with a C-section.” After they left the room my husband said to me, “I'll be right here with you. What do you wanna do?” I was very nervous, but I did- n't want to disappoint God. So my husband, my mother- in-law, sister, and sister-in-law asked, “What do you wanna do?” So I said let's go. We left and the nurse had a fit, but I wanted to be at home. When we reached home, I was still in no pain, just uncomfort- able. The next day, that Mon- day, I rested in bed all day. I still had no pain. That night maybe around 9-12 pm the pain came, but not what I expected. I was in the middle of a contraction, and I jumped up and said “Let's go!” Right Reyvone Miller II Miracle Baby by Talea Johnson Inside this issue: Be Prepared lyrics 2

Hello, My name is Talea

Miller, and I just wanted to

take some time out and share

with you a miracle that God

did for me. This occurred

during my pregnancy with my

first child. From the beginning

I had issues with my blood

pressure, but never did the

doctor make a big issue out of

it even though I asked ques-

tions. However, time went on,

and I began to swell really bad

to the point I could not wear

shoes or close my hands all

at 5 a.m. to see him off for

work. He was on call, so I just

figured I'd stay up to get our

clothes and dinner prepared

so I could go back to sleep

until it was time to leave for

Sunday School. As I was iron-

ing the last shirt of our

clothes, my water broke. This

was my first child, so I wasn't

sure what exactly was taking

place. So I called my mom.

Our church mom called my

husband, and as that day went

on my swelling was really bad.

I had no pain or anything.

That night I said, “I'll go get

checked just to see what's

going on.” Very big mistake.

But God and His mercy... We

went, and sure enough the

pressure (from the medical

professionals) began. My doc-

tor came and said a large

amount of my water had

come out and my baby's heart

rate was dropping. “Let us

give you steroids to keep his

heart rate up,” they said.

“We're going to keep you to

give you an ultrasound in the

morning and go ahead with a

C-section.” After they left the

room my husband said to me,

“I'll be right here with you.

What do you wanna do?”

I was very nervous, but I did-

n't want to disappoint God.

So my husband, my mother-

in-law, sister, and sister-in-law

asked, “What do you wanna

do?”

So I said let's go. We left and

the nurse had a fit, but I

Be Prepared

By Ariel Johnson (For Chosen)

When He saved my soul I was lost and in need of

help

But He saw something in me

He cleaned me up and turned me around

So now I’m heaven bound

He saved my soul from sin and made my life better

since then.

Chorus: Jesus died to saved us from our sins

So would you please let Him in

He’s coming back one day to gather all of us in

So we gotta live right, every day and every night

When He returns be prepared.

When I needed help, He answered my plea and comforted me.

You say its rough, tough, you can’t handle it Just give it over to Him

And see what He will do, He has never failed you yet.

Through my toughest hour, through my pain and sorrow

You kept me through it all, and you didn’t let me fall.
