A movement of British rock-and-roll groups to the rest of the English speaking world.
Especially influential in the United States.

His song “Stranger on the Shore” was the first song by a British artist to make it to
#1 on Billboard top 100.
The Tornadoes
“Telstar” by The Tornadoes was the first song by a British band to make it to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The Beatles
The Beatles group was formed in 1962.
Members were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.
JFK assassination.
BeatlemaniaEveryone wanted a piece of The Beatles.
