Overseeing Software Testers perform testing in the right way.

– Testing is documented Overseeing test cases are properly designed. Participating in Formal Reviews, Peer Reviews. Overseeing any type of testware is developed. Implement Test Standards.



– Testing techniques are established and developed Assuring the correct testing techniques are established. Provide mentoring on what testing techniques to

implement.– Responsible for ensuring that tests are designed and executed

in a timely and productive manner Assure that test cases are designed according to the

objectives stated on the test plan. Assure that test execution is performed based on Project

schedule.



– Test planning and estimation In charge of providing the over all planning of testing (Test

Plan). In charge of estimating testing cycles.

– Designing the test strategy In charge of the test strategy (Detecting business Risks). In charge of designing traceability matrix.

– Reviewing analysis and design artifacts Reviewing Requirements. Reviewing Functional Documents. Reviewing Design documents.



– Chairing the test readiness review In charge of organizing test readiness review before every

testing milestone.– Managing the test effort

In charge of managing the testing process. In charge of providing constantly feedback to team

members. In charge of decision-making in the project. In charge of providing solutions to problems using

appropriate quality tools.



– Overseeing acceptance tests Designing Acceptance Test Plan along with the client. Designing acceptance test cases. Overseeing acceptance testing with the client.
