Other Requirements
The 12-hour TESOL certificate program was designed for individuals wishing to teach English as a foreign language overseas. This certificate provides a minimal credential that could fit within a minor or area of concentration for someone already enrolled in a degree program at Florida State. It is not to be confused with state certification to teach ESOL in a U.S. public K-12 setting, which is available through our MOST program in ESOL and foreign language education.
