Overview

We were born out of a gap identif ied by the Gor8 Consultancy on behalf of the Circuit of Wales, a £315 million project to deliver MotoGP circuit adjacent to the Brecon Beacons. Gor8 has been re ta ined to identify and deliver all the t e l e c o m s a n d r a c i n g systems for the Circuit. It became clear that the provision of high-density

external event WiFi for the circuit was problematic because whilst many companies do provide a WiFi service for EPOS and access control, very few can deliver high-bandwidth, high-density coverage within tight timescales, or cost effectively.

If access to high-density WiFi that is quick to set up, is a nice-to-have now, market research confirms it will become a must-

have in the near future. tes was created to address this market need.

tes and partner Panasonic undertook a technical due diligence, identifying Meru Networks as

having the best rapid-deployment WiFi systems at competitive price points. tes is now a Meru reseller.

Many events are also constrained by a bottleneck in their backhaul capacity. Providing cost effective data circuits is part of the TES core capability.

tes has demonstrated a proof-of-concept, providing WiFi with satellite backhaul for the Priddy Folk Festival in July 2014.
