Tectura Designs’ origins date back to 1953, when a

terrazzo contractor named Ed Creske founded the

business as Wausau Tile & Terrazzo in his two-car

garage. Over the ensuing decades, the company

continuously demonstrated its commitment to

quality, and in 2015, Tectura Designs emerged as

the new name for America’s premier provider of

architectural products.

Tectura Designs is the only domestic manufacturer of

cementitious precast terrazzo tile, and our terrazzo tile

meets the California Department of Health Services VOC

emissions requirements for use in classroom and office

environments. It also meets the requirements to qualify

as a low-emitting material in the CHPS system and for

the USGBC LEED v3 for commercial interiors, EQ credit

4.3 low-emitting flooring system.

Terrazzo Tile comes in polished, honed or blasted finish and have chamfered edges. Custom sizes available upon request. Standard sizes are:

The slabs can be used for countertops, vanities, wall panels, backsplashes, fireplace surrounds or other interior applications. Mold-to-size countertops are custom and are fabricated to your specifications. Our designers will assist in creating shop drawings and will also help with custom color matching.
