What is Terrazzo?Terrazzo is a composite material that is made of chips of marble, quartz, granite, glass, shells and other decorative stones, that is held together by either a cement or epoxy resin binder. Commonly used as a floor finish in commercial spaces including airports, schools, hotels and hospitals, terrazzo is ground and polished to produce a smooth surface.

Today, epoxy terrazzo is widely used. The terrazzo system is poured over level concrete. It has a unlimited color options, making it ideal for decorative patterns and designs. The system also provides a seamless surface that is much thinner and lightweight than cement terrazzo, but more durable, flexible, and less susceptible to cracking. Epoxy terrazzo is considered the the most cost effective flooring system available, and is a product that optimizes life-cycle performances, reduces operating costs and enhances the beauty and value of any building structure.

EZPour Epoxy 158TERRAZZCO Groutless ™ EZPour Epoxy 158 is a pigmented, 100% solid (VOC free), two-component epoxy resin system. When combined with an extensive variety of decorative aggregates and poured in place to 1/4” or 3/8” nominal thickness, it yields a highly durable and decorative terrazzo flooring system.

Groutless™ EZPour Epoxy 158 provides incredible sustainability and high resistance to wear while alos being resistant to bacterial growth. The product has the lowest life cycle cost of any flooring system available. Crack-resistant installation can be acheived in conjunction with TERRAZZCO Moisture Mitigation System MMS 950 and Flexible Membrane 528.
