West Input Conveyor
• Restarts conveyor after jams are cleared

High Capacity Diverter
High Capacity Diverter
They are located throughout the
system and provide functions such as: jam detection, bag tracking, sensing
for cascade operation, and merge control.
Encoders

EDS Machine
Located at the exit end of each EDS to provide:
• Information relevant to the corresponding L-3
• Real time statistics

Automatic Tag Reader (ATR)
The ATR reads the 10 digit IATA baggage tags and passes the information to the system controller.
Sick Bar Code Scanner
The scanner consist of multiple read heads connected to a multiplexer controller.
Information contained on the barcode is used to route bags to the correct makeup carousel.
Graphic Display of Cleared
High Capacity Diverter (HCD)
The HCD is shown is active mode ready to divert luggage to a selected makeup unit.

Baggage Makeup Carousel MU5
Oversize Clear Conveyor (OSCL)
Cleared oversized bags are loaded to the OSCL conveyor and transported to the Airline pick-up point.
