It is a framework or blueprint for conducting the research project. The design should
be conceived keeping in mind the objectives and should clearly define the activities
needed to be understand while conducting the study. it helps the researcher to
foresee various research operations. So in my research there are different methods
or steps which is use by me for taking a good research
1).EXPLORATORY STUDIES
Firstly I decided to use exploratory studies because time is very short .it is study to
gain familiarity with the phenomenon or to achieve new insights into it ,often
formulate more precise research problems or to develop hypothesis. As we know this
is my new idea so it is helpful for me to do a research

is process to set perfect question which is related to research

4). SAMPLIING PROCESS
As we know that the time period of study is short I decided to use sampling
method .Sampling is the process of studying about the universe on the basis of
representative samples drawn from the population.so there are different process of
sample design which is mentioned here:
(a).Type of universe-the first step in developing any sample design is to define set
of objects, technically called the universe
(b).Sampling unit my sampling unit will be Jalandhar city Housewives
(c).Size of Sample this refers to the number of items to be selected from thepopulatiton to constitute a sample.so I decided to select 30 Housewives to samle
(d).budget it is most important to because it is not only related of the size of sample
but also to the type of sample .so I decided to spend about Rs. 200 rupees in my
research.

Identifying and maintaining a natural positioning helped Vatika evolve from a
premium hair oil brand to become an umbrella brand for Dabur's haircare
products.
Businessline.Chennai: Mar 13, 2010
Dabur's COO, Consumer Care, Mr V.S. Sitaram, says that the company's brands
have seen 20-30 per cent growth rates for the fourth year in a row. "We have
stuck close to our strategy of offering shampoos which are natural products. Plus
we added more variants to our Vatika range - earlier we had only two variants
but added root strengthening and hair fall control shampoos." Vatika also had a
packaging makeover and extended the brand to hair oil as well, which Mr
Sitaram says made it a complete hair care brand. "Lots of brands talk about
being natural and herbal but when it comes to Dabur there is more credibility in
the market because of our strong heritage and consumers accept that message
from us," he adds.
