The strength of Burnside Public School is the commitment and value everyone places on excellence in education. Our community partnerships play such a vital role in our student’s continual growth in their learning. I would like to recognise and thank all volunteers who have assisted in the rooms with supporting our students. Our volunteers who have run educational programs such as Multilit and reading we thank you for your continued support. To our parents who have assisted during outdoor activities such as sport, excursions and carnivals, thank you for those extra pairs of hands when we have needed them. To our School Council and P&C thank you for all that you do to support the school through the uniform shop, fundraising, media and band. YEAR 6 Special Events
Year 6 are looking forward to their end of year events. Invitations will be sent home to student’s on
Monday. However for your planning, below are the times for year 6 events for the end of term.
Tuesday 17 December - Graduation Assembly 9.30am start, followed by celebration morning tea
Decorating the Hall by parents after the Graduation Assembly
Year 6 Farewell Dinner - 6pm start and parents invited to join the students from 8.30pm, finish 9pm
Wednesday 18 December - Final Assembly and Farewell Arch from 2.10pm in the school hall.

The P&C meeting is held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm in the staffroom. All welcome
to attend.
