We find ourselves caught between the end of one school year, and the start of another. Our plans for 2014 are well underway, with enrolments, staffing and budgeting being worked on, plans finalised, new Kindergarten students commencing their transition program, and, soon, our new Senior Class starting Foundation Studies. At the same time, our current classes need to be working on "finishing well". HSC exams are well underway, end of year assessments and reports loom large, and end of year activities such as Thanksgiving Night, Year 10 Graduation, Year 6 Graduation, Secondary activities week, loom large. Please pray for us at this busy time. Year 10 Graduation Year 10 students and extended family are invited to the Year 10 Graduation Ceremony and Afternoon Tea on Friday 7 th December. Please keep this date free. Invitations will be sent home shortly. Helping Your Child to Become a Better Reader Save the date – Wednesday 13th of November at 7pm – Ian Thompson is a Literacy Consultant with the Association of Independent Schools. He will be speaking on this topic. Shoalhaven River Festival A permission note went home today with all K - 6 students. We would like to encourage as many students, and parents, to join in on this wonderful opportunity to promote our school and to be involved in this great community event. The parade kicks off the Festival with lots of things happening all day down on the southern side of the river. We will be speaking to Secondary students tomorrow to encourage their participation as well. Follow this LINK for more information on the Festival. 100 Merit Certificates Don’t forget you have until Friday 1 st November to get your 100 Merit Certificates (10 large certificates) into the office for our Thanksgiving Evening.
