2nd December, 2015
Dear Members of the Nambucca Heads Public School Community,
Student Elections On Friday last week the ballot of students for Captain and Prefect positions was held. All nominees were asked to perform an impromptu speech on the topic ’Change.’ The calibre of nominees and their speeches was extremely high this year. Students in years 2, 3, 4 & 5 were given the opportunity to partake in a genuine election process following AEC guidelines.
Congratulations to all of our candidates and the voters for acting with Respect and Honesty throughout the process. The Badge Ceremony will take place on Presentation Day.
Nambucca High School Transition Day Our year 6 students have come back from their transition day at the High School super excited. All of them have stated that they are eager to make the move to year 7. It was an action-packed day and included Japanese lessons, cooking and a range of other High School activities.
Swim & Survive Our swimmers have been heading off daily for their swimming lessons at the Macksville Pool. Teachers are returning each day excited at the constantly improving skills of all participants. We also received lots of feedback on the students’ Safe, Honest and Respectful behaviours.
