From the Principal’s Desk… Congratulations with Ms Gestier who was acknowledged this week by the DoE for 30 years of service and Miss Annette for 20 years of service. Bourke Street Public School is very fortunate to have experienced educators assisting with our students learning. Next Tuesday the school server will be offline from 10am – 12noon. As a result the school phone lines being temporarily disrupted.

Just a reminder as the term is drawing to an end. The school has begun transitioning to the DoE’s LMBR system. Basically the first week in Term 4 the school office will be CLOSED and no financial transactions will be processed as the school changes bank accounts. The POP payment system on the school’s website will also disappear during this period to avoid loss of payments by parents as the school converts to the NEW LMBR system.
Parents would have noticed on school notes a closing date had appeared this term. This is NOW being enforced as the school will longer have the flexibility for last minute payments on the LMBR system. As a result, if the school has NOT received permission advice and/or payment before or on the closing date your child will not be able to participate in the planned activity.
