Welcome to Week 9!
Last week the executive staff met with Karen Burke, Director of Educational Leadership. She was very impressed with our strategic directions from the school plan and pleased with the progress we have made in our milestones to date.
Our next P & C meeting is being held tomorrow, 26th June at 4:00pm. Details of the Variety Bash visit will be discussed at this meeting so we need as many people as possible to attend. The P & C will be providing breakfast for the Variety Bash Teams and they will be making a substantial financial contribution to our school. Many hands will be needed on the day of their visit!
There are jumpers and jackets being left in the playground and around the COLA area- please ensure that your child’s name is on their belongings so they can be easily returned. Our lost property bin is overflowing!
Enjoy your week.
Kind Regards
Anna Markham Assistant Principal

PSSA BASKETBALL
In week 7 on Friday West Wyalong Public School’s PSSA basketball team went to West Wyalong basketball stadium to play against Wyalong Public School. Both the girls and boys teams won quite convincingly (Girls 78-37 Boys 86-36).
Then we went on to play Ungarie for the next round. It was a little bit of a challenge but still came home with a great and confident win (Girls 70-20 Boys 52-26).
Now we will go on to play in the next round. The Boys will be playing Glenroi this coming Friday at our local stadium.
A massive thank you to Lesa Matthews, Miss Cummins and all the parent helpers.
