A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL Country Fair A Huge Success! What an amazing, successful, fun filled and profitable event! Huge thanks go to our extremely enthusiasc, reless and hardworking P&C members and staff, and all those businesses and individuals who donated prizes, goods and services for the benefit of our students. Thanks, also, to our families and the community members who came along and spent their money. A huge amount of money was raised for our school. What a fantasc community we have! The exact amount of money raised will be announced by the P&C soon. Film by the Bay Film Fesval We have entered our short film, The Promise, in the Film by the Bay Film Fesval. This is a compeon for Primary schools in the local area to submit short films of up to 10 minutes per school. The entries will be screened at the Huskisson Pictures cinema next Tuesday evening, 30th October, at 6pm. A range of prizes will be awarded (including lucky door prizes), so come along to see all the entries, support our film and help promote the arts in our schools. Tickets are limited and are available from the school office @ $6 each. Kindergarten 2019 Orientaon Day Our new Kindergarten students for 2019 will be aending an orientaon session at school tomorrow morning from 9.30am to 11.00am. They will get a taste of classroom acvies and explore the school grounds to prepare them for starng school next year. This session is just as much for the parents as it is for the students, however, with a presentaon of a range of informaon about our school and what they and their child can expect. We welcome our new students and their families to our school. We are sure it will be a happy associaon throughout their Primary schooling here at Terara Public School. Country Fair A Huge Success!

What an amazing, successful, fun filled and profitable event! Huge thanks go to our extremely enthusiastic, tireless and hardworking P&C members and staff, and all those businesses and individuals who donated prizes, goods and services for the benefit of our students. Film by the Bay Film Festival

They will get a taste of classroom activities and explore the school grounds to prepare them for starting school next year. This session is just as much for the parents as it is for the students, however, with a presentation of a range of information about our school and what they and their child can expect. We welcome our new students and their families to our school. We are sure it will be a happy association throughout their Primary schooling here at Terara Public School.

2018 SWIMMING & WATER SAFETY PROGRAM

Permission notes have been sent home to all students in Year 2 and to students in Years 3-6 who expressed their interest in participating in the program. The program is conducted over ten days from Monday 19th November—Friday 30th November.

Gymnastics All students from K-6 will have the opportunity to learn gymnastics skills through the Sporting Schools Australia Grant Program, commencing in Week 3. Students will travel by bus to the gym at Nowra Showgrounds for the sessions over 4 weeks. There is no cost to students for this program. Permission notes will be sent home this week.

SCHOOL VALUES AWARD Congratulations to the winners of last week's Froggy draw - Tazmund and Finn! The focus for this week is 'be kind'.
