Made in franceIt was in 1959, in his home village of La Gacilly in the brittany region of France, that Mr. yves rocher made his first plant-based beauty products.

BOTaniSTyves rocher researchers have in-depth knowledge of the plant world. our botanists and biologists are constantly scouring the 5 continents to explore the plant world and discover new beauty secrets. Moreover yves rocher owns in La Gacilly, since 1977, its Botanical Garden which is completely dedicated to research and Conservation with more than 1,100 plants. It is an unlimited resource for yves rocher botanical beauty research.

harveSTer55 hectares of flower and plant fields are grown in organic agriculture in La Gacilly. 20 plant species are grown, which accounts for one third of the botanical needs of the products manufactured by yves rocher every year: Calendula, arnica, Cornflower...

reSearcheryves rocher researchers are constantly analysing the extraordinary ability of plants to adapt. Plants develop treasure troves of genius to resist, fight, and survive. this is what yves rocher calls Plant Intelligence. decoding the biological functions of plants paves the way for discovering new active ingredients for cosmetics.
