ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The AGM took place on the 30th of May. On behalf of all Club Members we would like to

thank Ed Herbener for serving as Club President since 2006 over a transformational time

in our clubs history. With his vision and drive the club has transformed from a small local

club to one of the biggest in Australia. We thank Ed for turning the centre into a world

class facility & he will continue as Vice President to share his knowledge. The executive

board is as follows: New Club President – Bruce Hiddle, Vice President – Ed

Herbener, Treasurer – Tracey Rankin, Secretary – (available).

REDCLIFFE MASTERS TOURNAMENT Saturday 3rd June & Sunday 4th June the Redcliffe Masters Tournament hosted 104

players. This tournament was a great success with a total of 222 matches played over the

weekend. Thank you to all the ladies in the kitchen for volunteering their time.

TERM 3 COACHING STARTING DATES Term 3 Coaching Re-enrolments are being accepted. A $20 booking deposit is required

to hold your spot in a class. Term 3 will run as a nine week program from Monday 10th

July – Saturday 9th September (Tennis Centre & School Programs).

SCHOOL HOLIDAY TENNIS CLINICS To ensure you continue to enjoy your tennis over the school holidays, book into our Focus

Tennis Academy school holiday tennis clinic in the June/July Holidays (minimum 2 days).

The dates are: Monday 26th June – Tuesday 27th June (8am – 12pm)

Monday 3rd July – Wednesday 5th April (8am – 12pm)

Week 1 $89 FOR 2 HALF DAY CLINIC & Week 2 $129 FOR 3 HALF DAY CLINIC

(5% discount for two children & 10% for three children) *Centrelink rebate is available

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS Congratulations to Chloe Chan, Sienna Carter, Payton Argles, Eleisha Hathaway and Marlon Armstrong for being

selected in the Redcliffe District Tennis Team! The Sunshine Coast Regional Trials were held on June 5-6 at Kawana

Tennis Centre. Congratulations to Payton Argles for being selected to represent the Sunshine Coast Regional Team

and compete at the State Championships in Toowoomba on August 3-6. Good luck Payton!

Northside Ladies vs Caloundra Wednesday 28th June – Good luck to all involved!

Facility Upgrade from Thursday 29th June to Mid-July – Upgrades will be made to court surfaces (resurfacing

courts 5-8) and undercover shelter ceilings. We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience

during this time.

Mueller Fete Saturday 15th July – Focus Tennis Academy coaches and staff will be setting up a Hot Shots display

with all equipment provided. Come down, say hello and play some tennis!

Bunnings BBQ Sunday 20th August – Any help or donations would be greatly appreciated as this is one of the

major fundraisers for the Redcliffe Tennis Association.

Redcliffe Open AMT 26th – 27th August & 2nd - 3rd September – Any members that would like to help in the

kitchen please let us know in the pro shop. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Orange Ball Singles and to Ivy Lauder for coming runner-up in the

Green Ball singles at the Caboolture JDS Tournament held in May.
