BUT, this year is the 40th anniversary of the Death of Elvis. If you are an Elvis fan, then you know that this will be the largest anniversary ever. Here at the Birthplace Park, the crowds have already picked up. Lots of international fans are already coming to see what’s jumping at the Park. Since the 35th anniversary, two new venues have been added. “BECOMING” has created an all new look for the overlook. These two Statues, along with the story wall behind them, can be seen from the main building. “BECOMING” recreates the story of Elvis as a young boy dreaming at the overlook. It represents all that is ELVIS. The second new venue is “REFLECTIONS”. This beautiful lake has been totally rebuilt with water fountains in the lake and a waterfall that creates sounds like you have never heard before. New benches are placed strategically around the lake to give you several places to view the surroundings. The “BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATERS” provides a great photo op. These types of pictures make great holiday cards for your family and friends. Overlooking “REFLECTIONS” is the new picnic pavilion with restrooms. As you can see, we are busy preparing for this special anniversary but we also want you to know that we are doing all of this for the community. Please give us a call to rent the facilities for parties, weddings, picnics, and any other special event you want to have.
