• Floor

Lat- ramus of the mandible

Medially- lateral pterygoid plate

Ant- post aspect of maxilla

Post- tympanic plate, mastoid, styloid processes

Sup- infratemporal surface of the sphenoid bone

Inf- attachment of the medial pterygoid muscle on the angle of mandible
