A hidden gem in the tranquil setting of the Bath Botanical Gardens, The Temple of Minerva is licensed for up to 35 guests for a seated civil ceremony. Open up the doors and with seating outside your guest numbers can comfortably swell to 100.
Beside the Temple there is a lawned area suitable for a large marquee and with numerous photographic opportunities, the Botanical Gardens provides a wonderful backdrop for your big day.
From a practical perspective The Temple of Minerva is heated, has a small utility area and there is a WC and disabled access.

With it’s truly spectacular backdrop of city spires and the famous Pulteney Bridge, Parade Gardens offers a stunning location to host
your wedding. Parade Gardens has two locations licensed for civil ceremonies. You can choose either the Edwardian Bandstand or beneath the Riverside Colonnades, both are beautiful locations within a truly special park. The vintage garden is renowned for its vibrant bedding displays and formal lawns which provides an excellent site for marquees. At Parade Gardens you have the flexibility to have a very grand or intimate wedding in this stunning city garden.

Access to your chosen venue throughout your hire period; Wedding Ceremony - 4 hours of your choice, Full Day Wedding – 7am until midnight. The support from our Events Team during the planning process and on your Wedding day. 2 allocated parking spaces for the day (Temple of Minerva only) Furniture for your Wedding Ceremony Your hire period starts from the time you require access to the venue to prepare until the time you depart. If you would like to access your venue the day before your event (e.g. to set up a marquee) a minimum 4 hour hire charge will be applied. Please note that if you set up the day before you must ensure you have overnight security we will not accept liability for any damages or theft. All entertainment and music must be finished at 23:59 and your guests must vacate the site at this point. If you have a Full Day Wedding booking all marquees, equipment and waste must be cleared from the site by 10:00 the following day.
