Yom HaAtzmaut Shabbat Friday, April 24

We need you to help us prepare!

The theme for our celebration will be “Israel through the Decades,” with a video collage of photos from our congregants’ visits to Israel over the years. Please dig

out the photo albums from your trip to Israel, and share pictures of your own personal Israel experience with us.

Digital photos are great, but we can digitize anything you provide.

The Shabbat Services will include Israeli music and poetry, followed by an Israeli-themed Oneg Shabbat.

Send or drop off photos and digital files to the temple office or [email protected].

Creative Rituals Can Help! Two of our congregants have offered to talk with parents facing divorce or post-divorce issues about a simple ritual that may offer healing for the next chapter of the family. We can meet with parents alone or as a group to discuss their hopes

and wishes and longings for their children as they adjust to the reality of separated/divorced parents. One Google resource that parents may explore is “ritualwell.org”

Meanwhile you are invited to call Naomi Korn, LCSW (727 804 1385) or Diane Mandel, LCSW (727 656 9665) for more information. We welcome your inquiries and hope to offer some information and resources resources to help you create your own special ritual. Diane & Naomi will happy to meet with interested parents at Temple while Hebrew classes are in

session on Sundays. Please RSVP to reserve a time to talk.
