Facts about the Temperate Rainforest
In summer the temperature rises up to 80 degrees Fahrenheit and in winter the temperature dropping to almost freezing.
It’s usually in regions far from the equator. They don’t have as much species as the
tropical rain forest.
Animals that live in the Temperate Rainforests.
Black Bear
11Black Bears live in the forest. They are excellent tree climbers, but are also found in mountains and swamps. Black bears could be blue-black, brown, cinnamon, or even (very rarely) white.

Raccoons
2The raccoon is not a picky eater, so it can eat anything. That’s a good thing because it can live anywhere without worrying about food.

Elks
5It has a special stomach that allows it to eat a lot of things including, grasses, shrubs and trees including bark and limber. 7

8This plant grows up to 30 feet tall and it can have pitchers up to 12 inches in length, the pitchers are sticky so when small insects get inside, they can't get out. And some larger insects try to get those small insects from inside so they would also get eaten by the Venus Fly Trap.

6It releases a scent into the air, that attracts bees so it gets pollen from it.
