Family Energy Rebate Applications are now open for the 2014-2015 Family Energy Rebate. The application submission deadline is Midnight 16 June 2015. The Family Energy Rebate (FER) helps NSW family households with dependant children to pay their electricity bills. In 2014-2015 the Family Energy Rebate gives eligible households a $150 credit on their electricity bill. If you live in a residential community (caravan or mobile home park), the 2014-2015 Family Energy Rebate is $165. Before applying for the 2014-2015 Family Energy Rebate • Lodge your tax return for 2013-2014 with the Australian

Tax Office. If you are not required to lodge a tax return, inform the Federal Department of Human Services(DHS); and

• Receive confirmation from DHS as to your eligibility/relevant payment for Family Tax Benefit (FTB) A or B for 2013-2014; and

• Ensure the person who is eligible for FTB is the applicant for FER; and

• Be an account holder of an electricity retailer, or, a long-term resident of a residential community (caravan or mobile home park), whose name appears on the electricity account for supply to her or his principal place

A big thank you to those parents who volunteered to help on the Temora Aviation Museum kiosk and the Community Expo BBQ. Thanks to the efforts of these volunteers, the P and C will receive $500 from the aviation museum along with a profit from the expo which is yet to be finalised. This money will be used to buy resources for our school. Thanks particularly to Larissa Francis, Soozi Reid and Anne Macauley for organising the rosters for these events.
