A new Precept Bible Study - Revelation, Part 1 (Ch. 1-3)
Jesus' Message to the Church - is scheduled to begin August
15, 2010 at 3:45 pm in the Adult 5 Classroom. We plan to
meet Sundays for 10 weeks from 3:45 - 5:45 pm, excluding Labor Day weekend. Cost of the work-
book is $24. Childcare will be provided. To register, call Becky at 921-5663 or just come to the first class.
Evangelism Training will begin soon. If you are interested in participating, plan to attend a brief informational meeting in the choir room at the close of the morning worship service this Sunday, July 25th. The first class will be on Wed., August 11th. This
is an 8-week course designed to help you know how to share your faith.
Compassion International is a special mission opportunity. Many of you responded last Sunday evening and
committed to give to this fantastic organization that helps children in
impoverished and hopeless situations. Stop by the foyer after the service to find out more information and to “adopt” a child if
you would like.

Circle of Friends are small groups (circles) of Jefferson Baptist Church ladies and friends who are of varying ages and who meet once each month for 8 months. If you are interested you can check out our website at www.jeffersonbaptistwomen.com. Or you can check out the Women’s Ministry table in the back foyer.
"…older women are to teach … and encourage the younger women …" (Titus 2: 3-5) Women who have lived and grown and walked with Christ themselves have so much to offer younger Christian women. By simply sharing life experiences we can help others who are encountering similar ex-periences in their lives.
