Static Relays:

Static Relays are used for protection of sensitive equipment due to under or over frequencywhen the equipment is being supplied from a source whose frequency may be erratic. Canbe used for tripping in case frequency goes above limit. A lower or higher than limitcondition if persisting for more than 1 or 2 sec a contact changeover occurs and an LED onfacia glows to indicate a trip condition.
