Bod, the main character in Neil Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book , thewinner o the 2009 Booktrust Teenage Prize, can become invisible toliving people, when the situation calls or it – he can ‘ade’.

What would you do i you could ‘ade’? How would it work? Where wouldyou go? Think about the dierent interpretations o invisibility, not just theliteral meaning. Would you eel powerul or lonely?

In no more than 500 words, write a short story that is original andcreative. You might like to read The Graveyard Book or backgroundand inspiration.
