Teen Summer Reading Experience Monday June 22nd - DIY Wands Monday June 29th - Bewitch a Book Cover Monday July 6th - Minecraft Build Monday July 13th - Create a Dragon s Egg Monday July 20th - Fairy Doors Monday July 27th - August 2nd - Rapunzels Tower Registration is required for all programs in order to receive the correct supplies from the library. All programs are passive – the dates are just when the video will premiere. Social Distancing Challenge May 25th – June 30th There are 50 activities that you can participate in to earn points and community service hours during your time at home. Winner will be the one with the most points and win a prize. Twisted Tales Book Club Pick up your copy of Cinderby Marissa Meyer (provided by the library). Read the book. Join the Twisted Tales Club on Discord. First meeting is July 1, 2020 @ 3PM. The second meeting is August 6, 2020 @ 3 PM. (Teens will choose the book). Come to our virtual class on Zoom to learn about dōTERRA Essential Oils with Wellness Advocate, Courtney Klinger. For a free sample please provide your address when registering. Please register at www.northamptonapl.org and a link will be emailed to you for the Zoom room. NAPLs Summer Program may look different this year but we will still have our summer reading incentive program and summer learning programs for all ages all summer long. An Hour to Kill Wednesday, June 3rd 6:00 pm An Hour to Kill is going virtual! We will be using Zoom to have a live meeting. Please register at www.northamptonapl.org and a link will be

emailed to you. This month's topic is: Cults An hour to kill is a true crime discussion club. Please do not attend if you are sensitive to discussions of violence or explicit content. This program is for adults 18 years and older.

Stitch and Chat Tuesday, June 9th 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm Stitch and Chat is going virtual! We will be using Zoom to have a live meeting. Please register at www.northamptonapl.org and the link will be emailed to you. Bring your crocheting, knitting, cross-stitching, or embroidery projects to your device and enjoy the company of crafty friends!

DIY Craft with Susan Monday, June 22nd New adult craft video program will launch on the library’s website and Facebook page on the above date. Create a DIY gel air freshener.

LEGO Challenge - Castle Siege June 1st - June 12th For kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. Build a castle from Legos or a building material of your choice, build a catapult from Legos and make small balls from aluminum foil. Does your catapult work at launching the foil projectiles? How far and high did the foil projectiles fly? Was your castle protected from the siege or did the opposition win the battle? Photo entries must be sent to [email protected] by June 12th . Winner will receive an Amazon gift card once we reopen!

Kid’s Writing Challenge: Happily Ever After June 1st - June 22nd Join our kid’s writing challenge every month this summer. Two age groups: K - 2nd and 3rd - 5th. One winner from each age group will win a school supplies basket. Do you ever wonder what happened after the "Happily Ever After?" What happened that made it so happy or maybe it wasn't happy at all? Think of your favorite fairy tale that ends with "happily ever after" and write what happened after.
