Overview of TechPay The TechPay technology (patent pending) is a new and innovative mobile payment system using QR codes on the front-end and a seamless proven transaction server on the back-end. TechPay is a fully-integrated mobile payment system platform handling the entire transaction chain, from customer shopping through to settlement, to the merchant viewing the complete scan analytics, Banner advertising campaign, sales. Through our state of the art technology, we have created the easiest, secure, and most cost effective complete payment “system.”

We started TechPay LLC to cater to the needs of Grocery/ Warehouse Store Chains using SwiftPay TH Later eventually into all Retail businesses. Consumers will simply use their mobile device to shop and make payments without credit cards, checks, debit cards, rewards cards, or coupons to worry about. TechPay is making it a faster easier checkout experience! This system will benefit both the consumer and Merchant.

TechPay has partnered with POS expert Stella Nova Technologies to handle integrations. With 18+ Years experience in POS and retail integrations, Stella Nova makes the perfect partner for TechPay.

Stella Nova Technologies will be using the "Mobile by Stella" framework. In 2001, Stella Nova developed one of the first completely .NET point of sale frameworks. This framework is still in use today in over 2000 locations. "Mobile by Stella" will be incorporated into TechPay LLC SwiftPay TM first Mobile Payment system that will integrate using a FREE APP and retailer integration.

Objectives – target market The target market is any consumer with a smartphone or mobile device and any merchant that accepts coupons or loyalty cards or credit cards. Here is a snippet from an online article.

“Research and advisory firm Aite Group predicts the volume of all types of mobile payments will top $200 billion by 2015, up from $16 billion in 2010.

Of course, it's never that simple, and the road to widespread implementation is paved with serious hurdles.

Obstacles that remain to be overcome include concerns around electronic infrastructure, security, cyber crime and market fragmentation. Add to this privacy, trust, and persuading consumers to change the payment habits of a lifetime and you'll see there's a real minefield out there. And what about customer fear that their phone runs out of battery could also leave them moneyless?”

The TechPay solution addresses the concerns mentioned in the article.

The Market - AnalysisThere is no shortage of information about the tremendous increases in mobile device usage. The numbers are staggering and indicate a real shift in consumer adoption. The shift is similar to how dotcom/ecommerce went from being something only select retailers supported to the norm. Today there is consumer expectation that a retailer has an ecommerce website. Mobile payments are in the infancy of this phase. TechPay is preparing to be the application of choice to help fuel this shift.

“According to Juniper Research, the number of people making purchases of physical goods with their devices will expand from 393 million this year to 580 million by end of 2014.

This projection of near 50% growth stems from consumer confidence personal devices as reliable payment shopping mechanisms. Windsor Holden writes in a report; “Mobile is not only another channel, but also the channel of the future.”

Juniper argues that mobile transactions involving physical goods will reach $730 billion by 2017. The annual rate of growth will be 23%, according to this projection.”

The Market - Opportunity There is a convergence of technology and consumer readiness that is poised to drive tremendous change over the next several years with mobile payments.

In order for mobile payments to hit a tipping point, the consumer must demand its use or be forced into it by the retail community. In order to force the adoption, the retail community must be willing to make huge upfront investments in time and money; which they have not been willing to do. In order for the consumer to demand adoption, the process must be easier and more secure than the current process.

The TechPay system is just that; with the press of a button and a scan, all of your typical shopping collateral is securely transferred to the retailer at the point of purchase, and your transaction is complete.

The Application TechPay is a powerful platform that benefits both the merchant and the consumer. The key features of the system are the following

Merchant Portal – This is where the retailer can see in real-time consumer shopping data. Manage in-app banner campaign. Access Analytics.

Consumer Portal – This is where the consumer can store and manage credit cards, loyalty cards and coupons. See and manage saved baskets and see completed baskets.

Mobile application – The mobile application allows the consumer to create baskets for purchase at the retailer by scanning items. Purchase a basket created on the consumers device by generating a QR code with all information. Purchase a basket created by the merchants traditional POS using the “Pay Now” button . Manage and use coupons that where scanned in at home and automatically applied to items put in basket, login first with loyalty card, while shopping this will allow shoppers to see real time costs with loyalty discounts applied. The shopping experience See weekly ads for your favorite stores and other online promotions.

Login with your loyalty card when entering retailer to show live real time discounts as you shop!

Open your shopping list and begin scanning your items.

This will check them off your list as you place them in your cart.

As the customer scans each item they can see detailed information about each item, it also adds it to your Virtual Cart, and you can see your total including loyalty discounts before you even get to the checkout line.

You may receive push notification based on your location on special offers you can use.

Upon arrival at the checkout line, you can approach the cashier (checkout?) with ease knowing you will not have to fumble through a hundred different coupons!

Choose from one of your payment methods and a real-time QR code is generated.

The Application – Pay Now Payment Only

For the same reason some consumers do not use the self checkout lane in a store and for the same reason some retailers do not have self-check out lanes, there will be some consumers and retailers that will not want or allow the consumer to create their own shopping cart. For those situations, we have the Pay Only feature. This feature provides all the same benefits of the consumer self scanning process without the consumer having to scan any items.

You may receive push notifications based on your location on special offers you can use.

Upon arrival at the checkout line, you can approach the cashier (checkout?) with ease knowing you will not have to fumble through a hundred different coupons!

The Application – Merchant Portal

The Merchant

Analytics – TechPay will collect analytics about the consumers shopping experience and use of the TechPay app. The information will be available to the retailer via the TechPay merchant portal. The retailer can now analyze data in real time, seeing when and where an item is being scanned by logging into the portal.

Banner Campaigns – Through the merchant portal, the retailer will have the ability to setup and manage banner ads that will display within the TechPay application. The retailer will have control over the in-app advertising.

Pay Now – If the retailer does not allow the consumer to scan their own items or if the consumer prefers not to scan their own items, the consumer and retailer can make use of the “pay only” feature. The pay only feature allows the retailer to scan a QR code at checkout to obtain access to the consumers coupons and loyalty information and process the payment.

TechPay will make money on each customer’s checkout. As a proposed direct processor, we foresee making a percentage on each transaction. Also on Banner advertising accessible in the merchant portal.

The average grocery store make about 2 Million per month, TechPay making a percentage would earn TechPay a substantial monthly income per store.

CouponsCoupons are all managed from a single screen.

The consumer can store coupons ahead of time in the TechPay coupon wallet. Coupons will be automatically applied based on items in the basket.

While shopping or checking out, the consumer can add any push appropriate coupons to the basket. If there is not item in the basket that matches the coupon, a message will display letting the consumer know the coupon can not be applied. In this example, the coupon is valid. Coupon wallet will also notify you when a coupon is used and expired
