Modern technologies for construction site management

The efficient management of construction processes, in particular for infrastructure projects, remains a major challenge. This is true not only for companies in the construction industry, but also for the clients, planners and subcontractors at all stages of the project too.

Each new infrastructure project has its own characteristics and requirements: Geographic location, geological formations, land movements, machinery requirements,

scheduling and time management and not least, the estimated and available budget.

Topcon‘s current solutions for digital construction site and project management will be presented at the event. You will have the opportunity to experience the entire process, from planning, the issuing of invitations to tender, project execution all the way up to handover, as well as the integration with our partners.

Alongside the process presentation, we demonstrate the procedures, machinery and technologies involved at the various stages live on a simulated construction site. Theory and practice simultaneously and in real time – that‘s what our event offers.

Surveying – drilling – blasting – loading. Workflow in the quarry

This is where you can learn about the latest innovations in Topcon‘s portfolio of solutions that are geared towards use in the quarrying and opencast mining sector and redefine the working processes.Documenting the conditions using a variety of technologies: from the air using various UASs, by plane or helicopter, from the ground by ATV or using the stationary long range scanner. Processing the data: with various solutions from Topcon and integration with our partners. Our Octocopter Falcon 8

is a new addition to our portfolio of products for mobile data acquisition.

We have a new module in the machine control area that now makes it possible to control boom drills in three dimensions. We also have new weighing systems suitable for a variety of different construction machines that allows quantities to be precisely determined. The manufacturer RDS was acquired and integrated into Topcon‘s technology portfolio for this purpose.

Paving process

We examine the entire roadway construction process and present and explain solutions for efficiently managing the procedure.

Topcon’s exclusive mmGPS technology: Our combined GNSS solution with accurate altitude reference can be used to further optimise the process. You keep the freedom of mobility offered by GPS-controlled machines being fed signals from satellites thousands of kilometres away and

supplement it with precise height correction data supplied by our special laser using a fixed local reference point. The system is especially suitable for use on millers and pavers.

A good, durable road surface is heavily dependent on the compaction process. We have the hardware and software components needed to ensure that the desired quality is achieved too.
