Part I
The pull-out value Fz is the load whic mustbe exerted in the axial direction of the fa-stener to pull the fastening out of the sub-structure. It is dependent only upon the type of fastener and the substructure.
The tensile breaking load Zb is the breaking load of the fastener in this axialdirection. It is dependent only upon the type of fastener.
The shear breaking load Qb is the breakingload of the fastener perpendicular to itsaxis. It is dependent only upon the type offastener.
The pull over value Fu is the load whichmust be exerted in the axial direction ofthe fastener to cause the failure of theattached material by pulling it over thehead of the fastener. It is dependent onlyupon the type of fastener and the substructure and the material being attached.
The shear load value Fq ist the load whichmust be exterted perpendicular to the or-ginal axis of the fastener to cause the fai-lure of the substructure or of the materialbeing atteched. It is dependent only uponthe type of fastener and the substructureand the material being attached.
