ServiceNow Integration
ServiceNow is an advanced IT Service Management (ITSM) platform that helps to manage enterprise platforms with advanced workflows and integrations. The QOS ServiceNow integration is designed to increase operational control, visibility and management of distributed networks.
QOS Networks works within the VMware NSX SD-WAN by VeloCloud platform Orchestrator to derive valuable data that our customers can use to understand their network performance, automate tasks around, and report back to other platforms. The integration makes data interpretation simpler and actionable insights more available. It also allows for existing business processes to flow with a customer’s new SD-WAN solution.
QOS layers SolarWinds monitoring of devices and circuits, with custom VC integrations all aggregated into ServiceNow for highly customizable alerting and reporting.
Some of the highlights of integration ServiceNow with the VeloCloud orchestrator platform include:
Incident Management
QOS API pulls specific metrics from VMware edge, VCO to help automate troubleshooting.
Problem
QOS API correlates problems across the network to kick off troubleshooting workflows
Change
QOS internal change management is supported and maps to change workflows on the client side
Custom SLA
Client specifies SLA, and Monitoring platform generated incidents are enforced via ServiceNow workflow
Monitoring Integration
Monitoring platforms (SolarWinds, SevOne) are integrated into ServiceNow by plug-in. Custom Application Performance Monitoring features are integrated via monitoring alarms.
E-Bonding
Clients can bond their ServiceNow with QOS and share information with workflow for better collaboration.
Asset Management
Asset changes are managed with integration to VCO; reporting and burn rate in ServiceNow CSM portal
CMDB
Configuration validation, Change alerting, versioning and updates
Customer Workflow Automation & Reporting
Full Workflow support and reporting support on all aspects of integration, including custom Work Order templates and customer dependency tracking
Carrier SLA Reporting
Circuits can be tagged with carrier SLA metrics (jitter/latency/packet loss), monitored with SolarWinds, and aggregated within ServiceNow. This allows you to know the performance of the circuit at any time and request SLA violation credits. No finger pointing between internal network teams and carriers.
QOS specializes in being able to work with existing network management and monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds or ServiceNow. Our customers rely on these internal platforms to deliver necessary network insights. QOS is able to configure an SD-WAN solution to operate with our customer’s existing internal processes to feed orchestrator data into their platforms.
