Press out the locking pin using pin removal tool. Remove pin with a pair of tongs or tweezers.

Remove the hook. Attach the thin tube and insert the locking pin again.

Press out the locking pins. Remove tone tube and frame lock.

�eperate body from electronic part.

Press out the locking pin. �eperate electronic module and electronic housing.

�lectronic module.

Pin 6,6 mm.

Pin 7,8 mm.

Frame lock.

Pin 5,9 mm.

For reference is shown a dual microphone version. For single microphone follow the same procedure.

Place frame and PCB in jig as shown on the picture. Unsolder and remove microphone(s).

Flip back PCB and remove micro-phone suspensions.

Insert new microphone(s) in the jig. �nsure the Microphones are seated correctly in the jig.

Attach foam pad to rear microphone p/n 15554400 (dual microphone ver-sion only).�nsure the foam pad does not overlap the solder-points.

Place frame and PCB in the jig �nsure the PCB is correctly aligned with the Microphone pads, and ap-ply a small quantity of solder on the microphone(s) pads (if needed).Coat solder-points with KR112.

Reattach microphone suspen-sions and re-assemble the device.

Low Profile

The BTE fixture consists of two parts, a test frame and an instrument holder. Each part has its own part number and they areavailable from GN Otometrics in Taastrup.

Test tubing is normal 20 mm effective lenghtas for all AUDIOmaster BT� testing.

Use of the test fixture is mandatory for all PL60 duringAUDIOmaster testing. To use the fixture, place the instrumentunder test in the fixture according to the picture. Connect theprogramming cable and select PL60 test program in AUDIO-master. During the test program execution the IAD calibrationwill be performed at the appropriate time. Another bennefitfrom the fixture is that the instrument is in a well defined possition so the telecoil test can be performed without anyenteraction from the operator.

Test PL60-D device by following the simple steps below:

1. Store the fitting settings in Aventa.

2. �xchange PL60-DI tube with standard hook.

3. Run the device through AUDIOmaster system using the test fixtures and standard PL60-DI TPI.

4. Attach PL60-DI tube again.

5. Reconfigure device to PL60-DI in Aventa. 6. Restore fitting settings.
