and deliver talks.• General mentoring is happening as part of campus placement training

and Management training.

Feedback analysis(how do you do it? Reward/corrective measures)

• A class committee is constituted for every class comprising of one external faculty, the class tutor internal faculty and six students of which three are girls. They frequently meet and discuss academic/non academic matters and corrective measures to be taken are identified. Corrective steps taken with the previous class committee is also discussed.• Usual students evaluation and corrective steps are going on in regular

basis.

• Self-learning is promoted in the institute by generating self-learning facilities under various modes. Students are encouraged for self-learning by personal counseling and organizing various contests.

Co-curricular activities

• WECREATE – an open platform for knowledge dissemination at GEC Wayanad WECREATE is an outcome of CONJECT 2011, a three day workshop conducted at GEC Wayanad during February 3-5, 2011, under satellite centre of CERD at GEC Wayanad, and funded by CERD. CONJECT 2011 was the first of its kind where faculty, staff and students from diverse disciplines sat together during the sessions, aimed to discuss various aspects of project realizationWECREATE is envisaged as a platform where creative minds can contribute. Anybody who can contribute can be a member of WECREATE. A Google group was created and even persons outside GECW are members of this group. Along with students, faculty and staff of GECW joined hands to disseminate knowledge they have acquired. The programmes under WECREATE are expected to mobilise the activities of Innovation Centre of GEC Wayanad.

Grievance redressal forums• A. Anti Ragging Committee :- This cell is meant for handling any ragging related activities in the campus

and also for conducting awareness programmes against the social evil of ragging. In addition Anti Ragging squad will be active and vigilant during the admission period

• Women’s Grievance Redressal Cell :- This cell is meant for handling any grievance of a girl student/women employee in matters related to sexual harassment in the campus. The complainant shall report any act of sexual harassment to the Principal or the Chairperson of the Women’s Grievance Redressal cell. The complaint will be examined by the committee and report presented to College council for action. The cell consists of 4 Executive committee members and 8 working committee members representing different sections of the institution

• Students Grievance Redressal cell :- This cell is meant for any grievance of a student related to academic matters(complaints regarding attendance,, duty leave, internal examination valuation and Continuous assessment) and administrative matters (delay in getting university related papers, scholarships, delay in other office related matters etc.) . The students having any grievance in above matters may report the same to the Principal or the Chairperson of the Students Grievance Redressal cell. The complaint will be examined by the committee and report presented to College council for action.

• General Grievance Redressal cell:- This Cell is meant for handling general grievance (non-academic) of any student or any grievance not covered under sexual harassment of staff of the institution
