Bullet Resistant Screens
incorporating:
• Pay Windows
• Cash trays/drawers
• Speech Transfer
• Ballistic resistance to
BS EN1522/23 FB4 –
FB6 and EN1063 BR4-
BR6 and also BS5051
G2/S82 handguns and
shotguns (BS 5051
now superseded by
EN1063)
• Attack ratings to
EN356
• Available stainless
steel, timber and RAL
PPC finishes
Shown left is a 7 counter position cash office reception
recently installed at a large conference centre.
Constructed in stainless steel it is ballistic rated to
EN1063 BR4 (superseding BS 5051 G2/S86) handguns
up to .44 Magnum and also SG1/SG2 shotguns.
Incorporated within the installation is a disabled level 2
position ballistic screen and counter, speech transfer
units, and cash trays with security slide.
The cash transfer trays are suitable in this case for
exposed environments allowing any water ingress to
expel back to the outside. The transaction windows
incorporate a microphone and external speaker at
head height which is shown in the image immediate
left. The large ballistic glazed windows/screens allow
ample light into the office providing a pleasant
environment for staff working in this high security
environment.
‘No Spall’ glazing is required in these cash office
applications as the tellers are seated very close to the
cash window and it is important that they would not be
subjected to any spall from the ballistic glazing. See our
ballistic glass and security glass information for more
details about spall.
Also available is our special Bullet and Attack tested
polycarbonate which offers unparalleled resistance in
applications such as these. See also :
