Success for large-scale projects means cost-effective solutionsReliable mounting systems that can be installed quickly for all regions and locations,

optimal yields and short payback periods – IdeemaTec is a global solar power specialist

with many years of experience, capable of fulfi lling the requirements of large

photovoltaic projects anywhere in the world.

This experience gained in the fi eld has also been embraced in our research and

development of our proven fi xed mounting solutions for ground-mounted projects.

Optimal yields includedThe tilt of the module table can be

adjusted to achieve the best angle of

incidence for the position of the sun

depending on the region. Angles from

12 to 30 degrees can be preset at

the factory, with custom solutions also

available. In addition, you can increase

utilization of the terrain by up to 30 %

with horizontal module orientation and

optimized string connection.

Quick module setup with standard anti-theft protection systemWe implemented a new riveting technique

in the safeFix Steel that we borrowed

from aircraft engineering. The modules

are mounted using rivets making

installation much faster than module

clamps using screws. As an added bonus,

it makes the system diffi cult for thieves

to dismantle. However, the option of

using module clamps is still being offered

for traditionalists.

The advantages of the riveting technique

at a glance:

• Installation completed in less time

• Improved protection against theft

• Loose module clamps are a thing of

the past with standardized and

precisely defi ned torques

• No inspection and maintenance work

of module fastening required afterward

Flexible arrangement of modulesYou can choose to mount the modules either horizontally or vertically with the safeFix

Steel. When mounting two modules vertically or four modules horizontally, the frame is

designed as a single-base system. Thanks to the improved ground clearance and row

spacing, it is the most cost-effective and maintenance-friendly method, enabling you to

mow the grass or perform cleaning work conveniently.

For three vertical modules or six horizontal modules, the safeFix Steel is delivered as a dual-

base system. The added benefi t here is you can achieve higher yields on less ground surface,

in addition to the improved static properties in regions with high snow and wind loads.

The product range is rounded off by a separate East-West mounting system, either with

two/three Modules mounted vertically or four/six modules mounted horizontally.

Wide range of options for the foundationIPE posts are used for the foundation with

the safeFix Steel as default. However,

Sigma or C-profi le posts can be

implemented for other types of foundations

if the specifi c project requires it. Depending

on the substructure, the foundation can be

rammed into the ground, it can be fi lled

using concrete, or it can be mounted with a

counterweight. Setting up the foundation in

a single row enables you to better maintain

the solar farm. Likewise, the substructure

can be aligned more quickly reducing the

overall time required for installation.

Last but not least, the load distribution is

improved by the foundation‘s position in the

middle under the module table.

Unmatched cost-effectivenessOur safeFix Steel mounting system gives

you more bang for your buck, thanks to

the new and improved steel-on-steel

design. In addition, we tweaked savings

even more with our patented design for

the π mounting rail with matching rail

connectors.

Steel mounting rails feature substantially

lower heat expansion properties in

contrast to the aluminum mounting

rails commercially available today.

Furthermore, the mounting system for

single modules prevents heat stress from

building up along the mounting rail. The

special rail connectors eliminate the need

for load support between the mounting

rails during installation.

Thus, you have a nearly infi nite table

length available, and it is possible to

optimize the number of foundation posts

by maximizing the spacing between

supports.

Our range of servicesIdeemaTec offers end-to-end solutions with its mounting systems. And we consider

service as an integral part of that offer. That is why we support you through every

phase of planning, whether for standard project planning activities or for project-

specifi c engineering in which we analyze all aspects at your site and monitor the

progression of construction for the system from the beginning.

Our services cover the spectrum of requirements for large photovoltaic projects:

shading analysis, plant design, ram testing, foundation/substructure work,

installation, and commissioning.

Selected reference projects implementing fi xed mounting systems

Strict adherence to mounting specifi cationsThe new, patented system for adjusting the safeFix Steel makes

it possible in the fi rst place: The fi xing points for the specifi c

module can be adhered to precisely according to the individual

manufacturer‘s specifi cation thanks to the infi nitely adjustable

module mounting system.
