MATRIX ENT System

TFT monitorThe highest demands of providing of image quality, user friendliness and safety are reflected by XION's medically approved flat screens. A number of I/O ports make them fit into various systems.

Camera processor MATRIX EBy reason of multiple features the MATRIX E is the optimal camera processor for all endoscopic applications. It can be combined with all XION camera heads and video endoscopes. The processor is especially efficient in conjunction with XION's video archiving and analysis software DiVAS.

Camera heads The low-weight camera heads with integrated video adapter have two operation buttons to control frequently used functions.

Rigid and flexible endoscopesXION offers a wide range of otoscopes, endoscopes for the nose and sinus, as well as laryngo-pharyngoscopes. XION ENT endoscopes are robust, have a long lifetime and convince with opti-mal handling. Large, bright and sharp images are the result of the high-quality optical systems.

The XION ENT system presents innovative, highly precise and particularly cost-efficient. The new digital generation allows for diagnostics and therapy at their command. The workplaces can be interlinked in a local network anytime and connected to the clinics information system through standard interfaces such as DICOM. A wide range of high-quality rigid and flexible video and standard endoscopes complete the complex ENT product line of XION.

For Reliable Diagnostic and Successful Therapy

Data station MATRIX DSMATRIX DS is responsible for the acquisition and management of all images, video and audio data resulting from endoscopy and open surgery. MATRIX DS has been medically approved and is to be seen as integral part of XION archiving and analysis systems and integrated OR solutions.

Xenon light sources MATRIX R 100 / R 180XION cold-light sources are applicable in rigid and flexible endoscopy. The XION Xenon light sources are powerful, extremely low-weight and space saving.

Video endoscopesThe XION video nasopharyngoscopes and video laryngoscopes provide outstanding image quality coupled with innovative design housing. They combine the optical system, light-guide and camera chip in one single instrument which can be handled optimally. Standard interfaces for the light source and the camera processor have been sustained to make the video endoscopes compatible with XION systems.

Digital Data Management, Evaluation and Archiving DiVAS permits you to comfortably record, archive and evaluate single images, video sequences and measurement data in the patients' files. The recor-dings are saved as single sessions in the patients' files. The examining physician, session data and editable comments are allocated to the sessions. DiVAS basis systems can be interlinked through a computer network. They can as well be integrated into the clinic or practice management system.

DiVAS The Video Archiving and Analysis Software

ModularityWith its modular software design, DiVAS’ choice of functions can be adjusted to your current needs still leaving you the chance to extend your installation at a later point of time.

DocumentationThe recorded data can be easily included in findings documentation, publications or training material by one of the various export functions. Pictures and measuring data can be integrated in MS Word documents based on templates of your individ-ual layout, e.g. in doctors' letters or OR reports. These MS Word documents are saved in the patients' files and can be reopened and edited in the usual way.

DysphagiadiagnosticThe new DiVAS module FEED (Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Dysphagia) is a modern and efficient possibility to evaluate and document endoscopic examinations of difficulty in swallowing, especially in conjunction with XION's flexible fiber- and video endoscopes. The examination video and the evaluation software are displayed together on one screen thus enabling the user to comfortably and fast analyse the images. The examination report is automatically generated as doctors' letter.

Data backupData can be backed up on DVD, CD, an external hard disk, or in the computer network – either all data or just those that has been modified. Export/importSession data can be exported while comparative data can be imported.

Photo and video archiving and evaluationThe DiVAS photo and video documentation modules hold various options: for example recor-ding videos and photos, evaluating a video, navi-gating it, cutting and archiving it. Single images of a video can be viewed or two recordings displa-yed on the screen facilitating the observation of therapy progress. The IEEE 1394/FireWire inter-face is compatible to the DV (digital video) and MPEG-2 formats. The live camera transmission is in full-screen mode.
