What is Technical communication?
As field within BUSINESS COMMUNICATION encompasses a range of disciplines that work together to communicate complex information to those who need it to accomplish a defined task or goal

A user-centered approach to proving the right information, in the right way, at the right time to make someone’s life easier & more productive.
As specialist from these disciplines work together with designers, engineers, analyst etc. to ensure that accurate and relevant information is communicated at each stage of the product lifecycle.

A memo or an e-mail to request information or identify a problem
A set of instructions to produce and explain a new process or procedure

According to training magazine ( Galvin, 2001 ), more than 60% of companies offer regularly schedule training courses communication skills: another 35% offer that training as needed. Only 4% of companies report that they do not offer training in communication skills. The facts of corporate life today are simple: if you cannot communicate well you are less valuable; if you can, you are more valuable.
