Malla Reddy Engineering College for Women is a constituent College of Malla Reddy Group

of Institutions (MRGI) founded by Sri. Ch. Malla Reddy, an eminent educationalist and honourable Member of

Parliament from Malkajgiri Constituency, Telangana State, India. The Group has 12 Engineering Colleges

with 30,000 students, making MRGI the largest cluster of Institutions in Telangana, India. The MRGI is

conveniently situated 30 km from the International Airport, Hyderabad.

Malla Reddy Engineering College for Women is established in 2008, Accredited by NBA &

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is Accredited by NBA with an intake of 240 in B.Tech Programme and also offers M.Tech programmes in COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING & COMPUTER SCIENCE. The Department of information Technology was established in the year 2008 affiliated to JNTUH with an intake of 60 in B.Tech Programme. The Departments established student chapters and Department Technical Associations CSI, IEEE & ISTE CYNOSURES-CSE and IT PHREAKS –IT under which it organizes National Level Technical Symposium - FUTURE SASTRA MEDHA and State Level Technical Symposium – every academic year. The Departments have state of the art laboratories with latest softwares like Windows 2008, Visual Studio 2012, Eclipse, WinRunner, QTP, J2EE, .NET, Fedora and Weka Tool. We have well qualified and experienced faculty members.
