WeremindallexhibitorsthatonlytheEnglishversionistheofficialversion.ThiscontainsthelegallybindingtexttotheTechnical Regulations and is binding in all legal issues that involve this document.

B1 General

ITMA is the world’s premier exhibition for the entire textile chain. It has a reputation of attracting exhibitors and visitors of the highest calibre.

To maintain and uphold this reputation, it is important that the presentation of the exhibition is of the highest standard. These regulations aim to ensure that the ideals of ITMA are maintained, while at the same time allowing exhibitors toprojecttheircorporatepersonalityandproductstothefullest.Theregulationsgoverningparticipationinthe17thInternational Exhibition of Textile Machinery in the year 2015 in Milan, hereafter called “ITMA 2015”, aim to enable all exhibitors to experience a safe and commercially successful exhibition. All exhibitors must abide by these regulations.

CEMATEXreservestherighttorefuseanexhibitoradmissiontofutureITMAandITMAASIA(includingITMAASIA+CITME)brandedeventsifthesaidexhibitorinfringesanyrulesandregulationsofITMA2015,hereinreferring to the rules and regulations stipulated in the “General Regulations”, “Technical Regulations”, “Application for Admission and Rental Contract for Space”, “Index of Products”, and their enclosures, as well as all other provisions issued by The Organiser.

B2 Addresses and Correspondence

ITMA 2015 will be held in the halls of Fiera Milano Rho venue in Milan, Italy hereafter called “The Venue”, from Thursday12November toThursday19November2015 (inclusive).MPExpositionsPteLtd,hereaftercalled“TheOrganiser”,hasbeenauthorisedbyCEMATEXtoorganiseITMA2015intheframeworkofthe“GeneralRegulations”and all the rules and regulations of ITMA 2015.

For all questions relating to the Technical Regulations and Service Forms, exhibitors must address their correspondence to The Organiser as follows:

Exhibitors should always communicate via email to speed up response time, and the stand number must always be indicated in all correspondence and communications.

B3 Service Forms

The Service Forms will be made available online to all exhibitors from 15 January 2015. These will include forms and information on all technical and non-technical services.

The entitlements stated in Article A11 of the “General Regulations” are free of charge to exhibitors provided that the ITMA 2015 Service Team receives the exhibitors’ Service Forms submitted online by the stipulated deadlines. Exhibitors should note that all stand plans must be received via softcopies submitted online by the stipulated deadline. AllcompulsoryServiceFormsmustbesubmitted.Receiptof formsafter thedeadlinewillbesubject toapenaltysurcharge(seeArticleA13ofthe“GeneralRegulations”).

B4 Onsite Management

A Hall Manager will be dedicated to every two exhibition halls, with a team of service providers to advise exhibitors on services available to them, and on regulatory and other operational issues.

Allexhibitorsand/ortheircontractorsarerequestedtoreporttoTheOrganiser’sOfficewhentheyarriveonsiteandbefore the commencement of any activity.

B5 Exhibition Stand Management - “The Stand Manager”

Exhibitors, via the person in charge of the stand - “The Stand Manager”, are responsible for informing staff and service providers working on their stands of the applicable regulations, and for providing them with the relevant copies of these regulations.

Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring compliance with and application of the regulations on their stands.

Exhibitors are responsible for damage and losses caused to any individual, or property, by their staff or by their contractor,equipment,objectsormachinesusedonthepremisesofTheVenue.

Exhibitors must grant free access to all stand equipment and premises to staff or representatives of The Organiser, the ITMA2015ServiceTeamandtheircontractors,aswellastoCEMATEXrepresentatives.

B6 Payments, Deadlines and Surcharges

See “Timetable and Deadlines for Exhibitors” for all deadlines.

B7 Performance Bond

B8 Stand Set Up, Stand Dismantling and Exhibition Period

Stand set up and dismantling work may only be carried out in accordance with the relevant statutory labour and industrial regulations valid at the given time.

The schedule for stand set up, stand dismantling and exhibition period for exhibitors is as follows:

For general safety reasons, the halls and the exhibition grounds are closed outside these times.

Exhibitors who need to work outside these hours must apply in writing by 1200 hours on the day concerned to the ITMA 2015 Service Team offices. Exhibitors will be charged an hourly rate for working outside the official hours. The hourly rate will be published when the Service Forms are issued on 15 January 2015.

B8.1 Stand Set Up

Set up will commence at 0800 hours on 25 October 2015 for Hall 1 and 3, and 31 October 2015 for all other halls.Setupforallhallsmustbecompletedby1800hourson11November2015.(SeetableinArticleB8).

The evening of 11 November 2015 is reserved for cleaning, aisle carpeting and placement of floral and garden items and therefore exhibitors must complete their stand set up by 1800 hours on this day.

Servicerequestscanbemadefrom0900hoursto1800hours(electrical,compressedair,etc).Extensionstothe indicated times may be possible in cases where assembly is complicated or in extenuating circumstances. Such extensions require the authorisation from the ITMA 2015 Service Team.

All delivery and stand construction vehicles must be removed from the halls and from the loading areas by 1800 hours on 11 November 2015. Vehicles wanting access to the halls or loading areas must obtain an access pass from the Venue’s Logistic Department. See also Article B39.2 – Guidelines for Deliveries and Collections, andArticleB41–RoadTrafficandParkingRegulations(StandSetUp,StandDismantling,ExhibitionPeriod).

In the event that stand construction has not started by 1200 hours on 11 November 2015, and is deemed not to be able to be completed by 1800 hours on 11 November 2015, The Organiser reserves the right, after giving prior notice, to make other use of the stand space without any compensation to the exhibitor. The Organiser will submit a registered or hand-delivered letter to the exhibitor, stating the reasons, and such letter will constitute simultaneously a withdrawal of admission and termination of the “Rental Contract” by The Organiser. Such action will not relieve the defaulting exhibitor of his liability for the stand rental charge, services and installations provided.

Machinery and equipment will be delivered to the stands according to the schedule drawn up by The Organiser and the OLC, in accordance with the details given by exhibitors on the Service Forms.

B8.2 Exhibition Period

See Article B8 for the opening hours of the halls. B8.3 Stand Dismantling

Standsmayonlybedismantledfrom0800hourson20November2015.Onlyhand-carrieditems(accessories,computersandadvertisingdocuments)canberemovedon19November2015betweentheperiodof1800hours and 2000 hours.

Exhibitors who dismantle their stand equipment, graphics, displays or who remove hand-carried items before 1800 hours on 19 November 2015 will be charged a penalty of 500 euros by The Organiser. This amount will be taken from the Performance Bond paid by the exhibitor. If the Performance Bond is insufficient, an invoice will be sent to the exhibitor for the balance amount payable.

All costs incurred for the above as well as the risks of theft, loss and damage will be borne by the exhibitor.

Stand dismantling must be completed by 1200 hours on 26 November 2015 at the latest. By the end of the dismantling period, the exhibitor is obliged to clear his stand completely of all stand building material, exhibits and all other items, and he must restore the stand area to its original state. Any material remaining on the stands after this time will be removed and disposed of by The Organiser at the expense of the exhibitor.

Exhibitors will relinquish any claims against The Organiser, ITMA 2015 Service Team, The Venue and their contractors regarding such removals, or other consequences, as well as any losses or damages.

B9 Exhibition Stand Approval

B9.1 Submission of Plans

All exhibitorsmust submit a setof scaleplansof their exhibition stand (includingmachinery layout) by1June 2015. This must be prepared in accordance with the examples and symbols illustrated in the document accompanying the Service Forms and must include detailed technical plans using a scale of 1:50.

Additional elevation drawings must be submitted for all double storey stands. See Article B10.7 on double storey stands for further information.

Single storey stands with the following specifications must also submit additional elevation drawings:

• Exceeding100squaremetres • Equaltoorhigherthan3metres •Withstageorplatformmorethan0.3metreinheightfromthehallfloorlevelifaccessisbymeansofsteps •Withbridges,stairs,cantileverroofs,galleriesetc.

Exhibitors are reminded that all stand plans must be submitted in softcopies online.

Allplans/drawingsmustcontainthefollowingdata: a) Numberoftheformtowhichtheyrefer b) Legalnameoftheexhibitor c) Hallandstandnumbers d) Standnumberofneighbouringstands e) Indicationofthescaleused f) Indicationofentrancestothestand g) Referencenumberandlegendoftheexhibits,specifyingwhicharetobedemonstratedandinoperation h) Heightofallmachinesandstandfittingitems,includingwalls i) Date j) Detailedinformationonthestandfittingmaterialsbeingused k) Authorofthecalculationsandfullcontactdetails

A risk assessment and method statement form, detailed information about the materials being used, including up-to-datefireresistancecertificatesandtheMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)aretobesubmittedtogetherwith the plans.

Plans and drawings will be checked by the ITMA 2015 Service Team for compliance with the regulations.

Exhibitors should note that the Italian versions of all Italian standards stipulated in these Technical Regulations are the official versions, and are binding in all issues involving these regulations.

In case of discrepancies between the Italian standard and other standards stipulated in these Technical Regulations, the Italian standard shall prevail.

Exhibitors will be notified in writing by 15 September 2015 when their stand has been approved, and one set ofplans/drawingswillbereturnedtotheexhibitor/standcontractorwithTheOrganiser’sstampofapproval.

B9.2 Risk Assessment and Method Statement

A risk assessment and method statement form must be submitted by all contractors and exhibitors building their own stand for the installation and dismantling of the stand. The risk assessment must cover the activities surrounding the setup of the stand together with the activities undertaken at the stand during the exhibition and dismantling stage. Samples of these forms, as well as the important criteria for assessment will be made available in the Service Forms issued to exhibitors on 1 June 2015.

Whentheriskassessmentandmethodstatementformsarecompleted,pleaseensurethatthestepsidentifiedto build, run and dismantle the stand safely and efficiently are implemented in practice. This information must be drawn to the attention of all the people who will be working on your behalf at the exhibition. Exhibitors will need to make this information available to their appointed stand contractors and all third parties involved.

B9.3 Stand Plan Approval

Stand plan approval will be sent to exhibitors by 15 September 2015, provided that the stand plan submissions are complete and in good order.

If exhibitors wish to receive early stand approval (i.e. earlier than the official date of 15 September 2015), they are strongly recommended to submit their stand plans to The Organiser before the deadline of 1 June 2015.

Exhibitors whose stands are not approved will be notified and advised by the ITMA 2015 Service Team on steps to be taken to achieve compliance.

B9.4 Extent of Liability

If the exhibitor or the stand contractor he appoints does not comply with the above stand construction regulations, he is liable for any damage resulting from violation of these regulations.

Moreover,theexhibitororthestandcontractorheappointsagreestoexemptTheOrganiserandCEMATEXfrom all claims by third parties that may be asserted due to violation of the stand construction regulations.

B10 Regulations for the Construction of Stands

B10.1 General

Exhibits must be arranged to attract the attention of visitors. In order to achieve the best possible overall effect, stands must be constructed in compliance with the “Technical Regulations”.

Onsite, no construction of an exhibition stand will be permitted unless prior approval has been granted. The ITMA 2015 Service Team will check that stand fittings are constructed in accordance with previously approved designs. If there is any deviation which contravenes the regulations stipulated in these “Technical Regulations” or which violates legal provisions, the ITMA 2015 Service Team is entitled to stop all work on standconstruction.Awarningwillbeissuedtotheseexhibitors(inwritingbyhand-deliveredletter),requestingthat the necessary steps be taken in order to comply with the regulations. If after having received a second warning the exhibitor still contravenes the regulations, the ITMA 2015 Service Team is entitled to cut the power to the stand and to close it down.

B10.2 Style, Standard of Presentation, Dimensions

The design and equipping of a stand, as well as any necessary construction work, is the responsibility of the exhibitor. ITMA 2015 requires that the following criteria be adhered to:

• Alltechnicalandsafetyregulationsmustbemet,asdefinedinthese“TechnicalRegulations”andintheService Forms.

• Exhibitors and assembly personnel promise to abide by, and ensure that their contractors and sub-contractors also abide by, current legislation with regard to the prevention of occupational hazards which mayapplytotheworkwhichhe/sheortheircontractorsand/orsubcontractorswillbecarryingout.

• Anyoneworking inTheVenuemustbe inpossessionof aworkingpass.Toobtain theworkingpass,exhibitors must complete the relevant registration form online. Once the pass has been issued, it must be worn in a visible place and it must be noted that it is personal and non-transferable. All persons operating within the Exhibition Centre regardless of the job functionmust be registered andmust respect thecurrent labour legislation, with particular reference to labour relations between the parties.

In particular, the obligations of all parties working on behalf of exhibitors under contract and subcontract have the obligation to equip their workforce with identification cards, as referred to in Article 18, paragraph I, letter u),21,paragraphI,letterc)26,paragraph8ofItalianLegislativeDecree81/08.

As provided by the above mentioned Legislative Decree, the card must contain:

- Photograph of the worker - Worker’sdetails(fullname,dateofbirthanddateofhire) - Name of the employer - Incaseofsubcontractors,therelevantauthorisation(i.e.thedateofsubcontractauthorisationrequest, employmentcontract)mustbeproduceduponrequest.

OR COUNTERFEIT DOCUMENTS WILL BE TURNED AWAY FROM THE VENUE.

• AllforeignworkersfromoutsidetheEUmusthaveavalidworkpermittoworkinMilan,Italy.

• Everystandmustasaminimumhaveafloorcoveringandstoragefacilities.

• Thefinishingofthestandfittingmustbeofthesamequalityonallsides(i.e.alsothesideswhichoverlook theaislesand/orneighbouringstands).Thesidefacingtheneighbouringstandmustbewhiteandmust

not bear any logos or trademarks of the exhibitor. It is recommended that exhibitors exchange information with their neighbours to avoid conflict at the time of the exhibition.

• Allstandsmusthavecompletefinishesonallsides.Itisalsorecommendedtocoverthetopofthestanddue to visibility from the balcony at the end of the halls. Cables and fixtures on the top of the stands must be covered with non-flammable materials.

• Everyvisitormusthavefreeaccesstotheexhibits.Allexhibitsmustbevisiblebyapersonstandingintheaisles and must be shown in accordance with the safety regulations.

• Nowallsorcabinscanbebuiltalongmorethan50%ofthelengthofeachopenside.Thedefinitionofa‘wall’ is any structure which is over 1.25 metres high and which is not fully transparent, ie, a solid wall, fabric, graphic panels, ‘pop-up’ displays etc.

a. The50%rulewillalsoapplytoshellschemepackages.

b. Forthebalanceofthe50%oftheopenside,itisallowedforglassorPerspexwallstobeusedontheportionoftheopensideexceeding50%.ONLYclearglass,Perspexoranyother100%seethroughmaterialas“walls”willbeallowed.Thisistomaintainthevisibilityobjective.

c. Exhibitorswillbeallowedtobuildwallsorcabinsextendingbeyond50%ofthelengthoftheopenside,providedthattheportionofwallexceeding50%issetbackbyatleast1.5metres.

d. Ifexhibitorsdecidetouseclearglass,Perspexorotherseethroughmaterialstocover100%ofanyoftheir open sides, up to a height of 6 metres, this will be allowed. Similarly, exhibitors will be allowed to cover100%ofanyoftheiropensideswithwallsorrailingNOThigherthan1.25metres.

e. A pelmet along the full length of the open side, as well as a railing or wall not higher than 1.25 metres, is allowed as long as the opening in between the pelmet and the wall is at least 0.75 metre high and isataheightwhichallowsvisibilityintothestand.Thisopeningcanonlybeclosedwith100%seethrough material. See below for illustration. If this type of design is used, there can be no solid walls or cabins built on the same open side.

• Standconstruction,theinstallationofmaterialstobeexhibitedandpostersupportingstructuresmustbesufficiently stable to ensure public safety.

• Itisstrictlyforbiddentoencroachonaisleswithanyexhibitorstandfittingelementsorplasmaorelectronic

systems, except wall mounted spotlights. Spotlights must be at a minimum height of 2.5 metres and must not extend out of the stand by more than 0.5 metres, including the arm of the spotlight.

• Stand construction (including double storey stands) must not exceed 6 metres in height from the ground. Stand and exhibit inscriptions, logos and trademarks must not exceed the maximum height of 6 metres (measured from the ground to the top of the inscription, logo or trademark). The maximum stand construction height in Hall 12 is 5.15 metres. Exhibitors located in Hall 12 and wish to build their stand higher than 5.15 metres to a maximum height of 6 metres must contact the ITMA 2015 Service Team. Such stand designs will be evaluated and approved by the Venue on a case by case basis. Please note that such case by case approvals by the Venue will require time. It is advisable for such exhibitors to submit their stand plan designs at least 8 weeks earlier than the stipulated deadline for stand plan submission, that is, by 1 April 2015.

• If banners/logos or promotional materials are hung from the ceiling of the halls using rigging, the top of the banner must not be any higher than 6 metres from the ground.

• It is very important that exhibitors indicate the height of all exhibits and stand fitting (including walls) on their stand plans to avoid delays in stand approval.

• Airconditioningsystemsontopofcabinsarepermitted,eveniftheseexceedtheregulatoryheightof6metres. It is not permitted to cover the air conditioning system nor to use it for promotional purposes.

• Platformsforpublicaccessmustwithstandaloadof5kN/m2 over and above the loads applied by any machinery or equipment installed on them. In the event of platforms higher than 0.3 metres, if accessible to the public, exhibitors must keep on the stand the relevant static test report, signed by a professional person qualified in Italy, and must make it available to authorised inspectors. Public access routes to the platforms must be linked to the floor of the hall by steps with suitable rises and treads and by at least one rampwithgradientsunder8%.Allstandswithplatformsmusthaveatleastoneaccessramp.Stepsorramps must not obstruct public routes. Platform corners must be rounded or protected and the perimeter must be closed, with the possibility of opening all sides for inspection purposes. Platform edges must be fully highlighted and the use of the platform must be included within the risk assessment form and clearly marked out in the stand plan.

• Alllightingmustbearrangedinsuchawayastoavoidanydisturbancetovisitorsandneighbouringexhibitors. Strobe and other flashing lights are not permitted.

• Exhibitorsmaycovertheirstandswithafalseceilingofnon-combustiblematerialforsinglestorey,firstlevel and second level of double storey stands as long as the fire and safety regulations are always respected. See also Article B10.7 – Covered Ceiling.

• SecuritycorridorsareestablishedineveryhallasrequiredbytheItalianFireBrigadeDepartment.Thesecorridors must remain free of any construction or obstacles at all times. Fire extinguishers and fire hoses are situated around the halls. There must be no structures or construction around the pillars which contain fire hoses. In cases where fire extinguishers are located on stands, they must not be covered and must beclearlyvisiblefromthecorridor.Exhibitorsmustinstalloneapprovedfireextinguisher(typeANC,6kg)for every 50 sqm or part thereof of stand area in visible and accessible positions, adequately labelled. Exhibitors can order fire extinguishers through the online service forms. If the exhibitor does not comply with this regulation, the ITMA 2015 Service Team will deliver the required fire extinguishers to the stand area at the exhibitor’s charge. Exhibitors must make sure that their staffs are able to use the extinguishers correctly.

• Aswithothertechnicalinstallationinthehalls,pillarsandwallsmustnotstructurallysupportanyloadspertainingtostanddecorationoranyobjectsondisplay.

• Exhibitorswhohaveapillarwithintheirstandcanbuildcladdingaroundituptoamaximumheightof6metres from the ground. Exhibitors must comply with the following regulations:

- Coverings must not be applied directly to the pillar but must be separated from it by means of an empty space or a soft material such as felt or insulating material placed against the pillar.

- The cladding must be carried out by the exhibitor’s stand contractor in accordance with the regulations laid out in these “Technical Regulations”.

- Whereapillarislocatedattheedgeofanaisle,thecladdingmustbeflushagainstthepillarsothatitdoes not protrude onto the public gangway. It must not exceed 0.1 metre surrounding the footprint of the pillar.

- It is not permitted to use the pillar to create extra space for storage. - Any connection or service boxes will need to be accessible at all times, and cladding is not permitted

on such pillars.

The ITMA 2015 Service Team reserves the right to refuse a proposal for any cladding around the pillars.

• It is permitted to present videos, films and changing slideswith sound, however all soundmust bearranged in such a way as to avoid any disturbance to visitors and neighbouring exhibitors.

B10.3 Floor Marking

The ITMA 2015 Service Team will measure out the rented space and mark the corners of the stand on the floor of the hall prior to the stand set up period. It is essential that the exhibitor’s stand remains within the marked boundaries.

B10.4 Stand Numbering The stand number of every stand must be prominently displayed at each corner of the stand. Exhibitors can

provide their own stand numbers for their special design stands, or order the stand numbers from the service form. A uniform stand number indicating the exhibitor’s hall and stand number in standard specification will be provided free of charge if exhibitors submit the order in the service forms by the stipulated deadline.

B10.5 Disturbance Due to Exhibition Goods

Exhibition goods that, by virtue of their appearance, smell, noise, vibration or similar characteristics, cause significant disturbance to the running of the event, and put event participants or third-party objects atconsiderable risk or impinge upon them, are to be removed immediately at the request of the ITMA 2015 Service Team. This obligation of the exhibitor concerned still applies even if he indicated such characteristics in his application and his application was approved. Should the exhibitor fail to meet his obligation by not immediately removing the exhibition goods causing the disturbance, The Organiser is entitled to remove the exhibition goods concerned at the expense and risk of the exhibitor or close down his stand without the exhibitor being entitled to claim damages from the Organiser. In such cases, The Organiser decides when the stand that has been closed down must be dismantled.

B10.6 Material Specifications

All materials used must meet with the current Italian and EU legislation concerning safety, fire and accident prevention and environment safeguarding. Only materials authorised by competent laboratories, which attain Italian rules and EC standards, can be used. Test certificates for the classes of building materials and the required material characteristic must be supplied by the exhibitor upon request. Flammable materials may not be used for the construction or assembly of stands. If materials used to set up the stand are not flameproof, theymustbefireprooformadefireproofincompliancewiththeDecreeoftheMinistryofInteriorof26/6/84and subsequent modifications and additions. Materials in relation to their use must conform to the following types of reaction to fire:

Class 1 – walls, curtains, false ceiling and ceiling as well as platform and coverings Class 2 – covering in direct contact with the floor of the hall, such as linoleum, fitted carpets, etc.

B10.7 Double Storey Stands, Platforms, Ascents and Bridges

Double Storey Stands

Double storey stands are permitted provided that the minimum area of the ground floor is 90 square metres and that the minimum length of any dimension of the ground floor area is 5 metres. The second floor area mustnotcovermorethan50%ofthegroundareaofthestandandcannotexceedamaximumof200squaremetres.NoconstructionofdoublestoreystandsareallowedinHall12.Doublestoreystandsarealsosubjectto all the regulations contained in Article B10.2 as well as the following:

• Thesecond levelof thedoublestoreystandcanonlybeusedasanofficeor receptionareawithbarservices and small refreshment area. It is forbidden to use these areas for display purposes.

• Thefloorareasupportingthestructuresmustbecalculatedaccordingtothefloorloadingcapacityofthehall. It is forbidden to place the structures on utility access covers; placing them on the metal covers of the utility ducts and chambers must first be approved by ITMA 2015 Service Team. Otherwise, electricity will be not supplied to the stand area involved until the structures have been modified and, if necessary, the area will be made unfit for use.

• Doublestoreystandsmustbecalculatedtowithstandaccidentaloverloadsofupto3.00KN/m2 and the stairsforoverloadsofupto4.00KN/m2. Protruding parapets and walls must be calculated to withstand thrustsequalto1.00KN/mappliedtothehandrailand1.2metresfromthefloor(PublicWorksMinistryDecreeof14thJanuary2008).Allstandstructuresmustbeself-supporting.Theparapetprotectingthesecond level of the double storey stand must be at least 1.1 metres high. Only safety glass offering protectionagainst injuryand fallsmaybeusedasparapet; ifbalustradeswithbanistersareused, thebaluster must be vertical and no more than 0.1 metres apart from one another in; a continuous strip; each balustermustbeatleast0.15metreshighandmustbefittedatthebottom(footstop).

• Theheightofthefirstfloormustbenolessthan2.7metresandthetotalheightofanydoublestoreystandmust not exceed 6 metres measured from the ground.

• Onlysafetyglassofferingprotectionagainst injuryandfalls,of therelevantUNItypeforeseenbyUNInorms in law, can be used on the second storey.

• Theareabelowthesecondstoreyandaccessstairsmusthaveadequatenormalandemergencylightings.Emergency lightings must provide an average illumination of 5 lux at one metre from the floor for at least one hour.

• Allmetalstructuresmustbeconnectedtotheearthcircuitofthehall.

• ThesecondstoreymustbeequippedwithaportablefireextinguishertypeABC,6kg,forevery50squaremetres. These fire extinguishers must be identified by signs as required by safety standards.

• Stairsmustbeatleast1.2metresinwidthandmusthaveahandrail.Thestepsmustberectangularwithatread of at least 0.3 metre and a riser of at least 0.18 metre. The dimensions of the treads and risers must be constant. Each flight of stairs must have a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 15 steps. It is forbidden to usetheareaunderneaththestaircasetostorecombustiblematerial(egpaper,cupboards,etc).

• Anydoublestoreythathasmorethan15metresofdistancetoastaircaseorisover100squaremetresinsize has to implement an additional staircase.

• Theminimumdistance forstairways,opencabins, terraces/cateringareas to theedgeofaisles is1.5metres and to the perimeter of a neighbouring stand 3 metres. If it is impossible to maintain the minimum distance to the neighbouring stand, some form of screening at least 2 metres in height is to be erected in the area concerned for privacy purposes.

• Thedesignofthedoublestoreystandmustincorporateexitsigns,emergencylightingandstairwaylightingat prominent locations and along stairways. It must also take into consideration the installation of barriers topreventthefallingofpersonsandobjectsduringsetupanddismantling.

• Togetherwiththestandproject,astaticcalculationreportdrawnupbyaqualifiedprofessionalisrequired.

• Afterwork is finished and before opening to public, the test certificate of the structure, issued by aqualified professional registered with an Italian professional association, must be presented.

Platforms, Ascents, Bridges

Exhibitors wishing to build a platform or stage over 0.3 metre high must also seek prior approval from the ITMA 2015 Service Team through the Service Forms.

All stands with an accessible platform higher than 0.05 metre must have an access ramp. The slope of any rampmust beuniformandno steeper than0.8/10 (8%). Level landings shall beprovided at the top andbottoms of ramps and any intermediate position where exit doors open on to them. The minimum width of the ramp must be 1 metre. This slope must be within the stand and must not protrude into the aisle. Corners of the platform must be rounded or protected.

Application for Planning Permission for Double Storey Stands, Platforms, Ascents and Bridges

Double storey stands, platforms, ascents and bridges can be constructed provided prior approval has been granted by the ITMA 2015 Service Team. An essential factor in the approval process is the effect the double storey stand, platforms, ascents and bridges will have on the design and transparency of the hall as well as on neighbouring stands.

Exhibitors wishing to build double storey stands, platforms, ascents and bridges must submit detailed drawings and calculations of the proposed stand design, together with the Service Forms to the ITMA 2015 Service Team by 1 June 2015.

Exhibitors are reminded that all stand plans and machinery layout drawings must be submitted in softcopies via the online platform.

Calculations(structural,architectural,mechanicalandelectrical)mustbeproducedandendorsedbyaqualifiedengineer. Please contact the ITMA 2015 Service Team for assistance if required.

The following must be submitted to the ITMA 2015 Service Team for approval for double storey stands, platforms, ascents and bridges:

a) Distributionplansofconstruction(bothlevelsfordoublestoreystands).

b) Calculationsofthemainstructurewhichmustincludethefollowing: - Full structural calculations of all build elements, taking into account the maximum floor loading of the

exhibition floor - Details about the load transmission of pillars to the exhibition floor of any upper decks - Detailsabout themaximumhorizontal impactstrengthofanywallingorhandrailelement (mustbe

minimum1kNperm) - Author of the calculations, title, date of drawing and full contact details

The ITMA 2015 Service Team reserves the right to impose further requirements in respect of safety and fire prevention until such time as acceptance of the given stand has been granted.

Once the stand has been approved, confirmation will be issued to the exhibitor, together with a copy of the stamped layout drawings.

The cost of the design approval will be charged to the exhibitor.

Note: Exhibitors’ stands located in Hall 12 are reminded that it is not allowed to construct double storey stands in this hall.

Covered Ceiling

Exhibitors are allowed to cover their stands with continuous false ceiling provided that such stands are equipped with a fire alarm system. These fire alarm systems must consist of both audio and visual evacuation alarm appliances. In the event of a fire, the signals from the alarm appliances must be heard and seen from the gangways. A smoke detector must also be installed for each room with covered ceiling. One smoke detector can only cover an area of up to a radius of 6.5 metres. All materials used must be CE certified and the installation must comply strictly with the European standard and regulations. Fire alarm systems can be ordered through the Service Forms.

Exhibitors must submit a detailed drawing indicating all the enclosed area within the stand, the placement

of the fire alarm system, as well as the calculated coverage area of the smoke detectors. See below for an example of the necessary drawing.

Continuous false ceilings, if there is no fire alarm system, are also allowed if they are made of one of the following:

B11 Space Only and Shell Scheme Pack

The stand rental charge includes those items defined in Article A11 of the “General Regulations” but does not include stand fittings or other items.

For those exhibitors who require it, The ITMA 2015 Service Team has designed a special “Stand Fitting” package for exhibitors. This includes walls, lighting, carpet and electrical sockets based on the stand size. Full details with prices and a detailed illustration can be found in the online Service Forms.

B12.1 Communications Equipment

Allorders forconnectionsof telephone, fax,data transmission (ISDN lines)or the internetmaybeplacedthrough the relevant Service Forms which will be issued to exhibitors on 15 January 2015.

All connections for information and communications services are provided exclusively by the ITMA 2015

Service Team. Connection plans indicating the required position of the connections should be attached to the ServiceForms.WifiisavailableinTheVenue.

B12.2 Utility Malfunctions

Allutilitysupplymalfunctions(e.g.electricity,water,compressedair,heating,ventilation,communicationsetc)must be reported immediately to the ITMA 2015 Service Team. The Organiser is not liable for any damage occurringasaresultofmalfunctionscausedbyfluctuationsinsupplyorForceMajeureorifthesuppliesoftheservicesconcerned(electricity,water,compressedair,etc)areinterruptedontheinstructionsoftheFireDepartment.

B13 Venue Safety Regulations

B13.1 Emergency Exits, Escape Hatches, Hall Aisles

The exits and aisles designated as such in the hall plans are to be kept clear over their full width. They serveasescaperoutesinemergenciesandmustthereforeneverbeobstructedbyobjectsleftinthewayor protruding, and must be maintained in good order with non-slippery and even surfaces and free from trip hazards.

Doors along emergency exit routes and aisles must have a minimum width of 1.20 metres and a minimum height of 2.10 metres. These doors must always be opened towards the public gangways of the halls without protruding into the gangways. Exit doors, escape hatches and any signs indicating their position must not be obstructed, built over, blocked, covered or made unrecognisable in any other way.

All hall aisles designated as such must not be obstructed or built upon.

Standswithanescaperoutelongerthan15metresorstandsdesignedsuchthattheexit/escaperouteisnotvisiblefromallpointsatthestandmusthavetwoseparateexits/escaperoutesthatarelocatedatoppositeends of the stand. The stand should be designed in such a way as to avoid creating any poorly accessible rooms,cornersoralcoves.Allseparateroomsusedbystaff(offices,recreationrooms,meetingrooms,etc.)within the given stand area must offer an adequately clear view of the nearest escape route and a path leading to the same.

Roomsthatareonlyaccessibleviaanotherseparateroom(so-calledtrappedrooms)areprohibited.Ifwithina given stand the maximum length of an escape route to a hall aisle exceeds 15 metres, the stand must be equippedwithasecondexitand/oranaisleatleast1.2metreswideleadingtoahallaisle.

Access to Safety Equipment and Signage

Under no circumstances whatsoever may any illuminated signage, fire extinguishers, fire hydrants or other protective equipment or material be covered or obstructed.

Access to connection boxes (electricity, telephone,water, compressed air, etc.) and accessways to halloffices and equipment must not be blocked.

Emergency Evacuation

TheOrganiserisentitledtoorderoffices,buildingsand/orhallstobeclosedandevacuatedforsafetyreasons.

B13.2 Fire Hoses and Extinguishers

The halls are equipped with fire hoses and extinguishers for the prevention of fire hazards. These facilities must be kept always visible and accessible.

The extinguishers of each stand should be properly mounted close to escape routes and located clearly visible. Stands operating or demonstrating with flammable liquids must provide at least one fire extinguisher close to such equipment.

B13.3 Fire Service Zones, Fire Hydrants

Access to designated fire-service zones, emergency routes and safety zones must never be obstructed either by parked vehicles or by exhibits, construction materials, packaging etc.

Vehicles and objects parked on or blocking fire-service zones, emergency routes or safety zoneswill beremoved at the expense of the exhibitor.

Fire hydrants must be neither obstructed nor made unrecognisable or inaccessible.

B13.4 Fire Prevention Regulations

Stand Construction and Decorative Materials

For security reasons, during set up and dismantling, no materials or working tools which could cause an obstruction may be placed in the aisles. All materials must remain within the perimeters of the stand itself. The Venue’scleaningserviceswillremoveanyobjectsleftintheaislesandtheexhibitorand/orstandcontractorwill have no right to claim any damages incurred. The cost of removing the obstruction will be charged to the exhibitor accordingly or deducted from the Performance Bond.

Readily flammable materials and such that drip or give off toxic gases when burning such as polystyrene rigid foam(Styropor)orsimilarmaterialsmaynotbeused.Decorativematerialwithstandardfireresistancemaybe used in certain areas if its location is sufficiently protected against fire. A test certificate confirming the classification of the material used may need to be presented.

In individual cases and for safety purposes, special conditions may be imposed for load-bearing structural components(e.g.non-flammability).Standfloorcoveringsmustbelaidwithsealedjoints.Treesandplantsmayonlybeusedfordecorativepurposesiftheyhavebeenfreshlycut(i.e.leavesorneedlesmustbegreenandjuicy).Ifduringtheeventitbecomesapparentthatthetreesandplantsaredryingoutandthusbecomingreadily flammable, they must be removed. Trees should be free of branches up to about 0.5 metres above floorlevel.Turfshouldalwaysbekeptmoist(riskofcatchingfire).Bamboo,reeds,hay,straw,barkmulch,turf or similar materials do not generally comply with the above requirements and are therefore normally prohibited.

Any exceptions to this guideline require the prior approval of the ITMA 2015 Service Team.

Motor Vehicles as Complementary Displays

Engine-driven vehicles, vessels or machinery will only be admitted to be displayed during the exhibition if specifically agreed with The Organiser. The fuel tanks of vehicles with a combustion motor on display must be completely empty and closed with the fuel caps locked and any batteries disconnected.

Smoking at the Venue

Nosmokingisallowedinsidethehallsandintheconnectedserviceareas(restaurants,bars,offices,meetingrooms,etc.)Outside,itisforbiddentosmokenearcombustiblematerialsandinareaswhere“nosmoking”signs are displayed.

Hanging Banner/Balloon/Ceiling/Lighting Policy

Allbanners/lightingrigs/ceilingsthatarehungfromtheTheVenue’sceilingformanintegralpartofthestanddesign and must be contained within the exhibition stand space.

Use of Balloons and Flying Objects

Balloons filled with flammable gas are not permitted inside the halls. The only authorised gas is helium or air. Distribution of balloons to public is forbidden.

Gas bottles must be kept outside the halls. It is the responsibility of the exhibitors to make arrangements for storage of gas bottles.

Smoke Machines

Theuseofsmokemachineshastobeco-ordinatedwiththeITMA2015ServiceTeam,andissubjecttotheapproval from The Venue.

Recyclable, Non-recyclable and Residual Waste

No containers for non-recyclable, recyclable and residual waste made of flammable materials are to be used on the stands.

Any non-recyclable, recyclable and residual waste produced at the stands should be disposed of regularly, on the evening of each event day at the latest or put into the waste containers intended for this purpose and placed at the edge of the aisle-side of the stand.

Spray Guns, Nitrocellulose Paints

The use of spray guns is prohibited, as are celluloid varnish paints for use inside the halls. This prohibition extends to flammable liquids and the use of gas-powered aerosols. Nitrocellulose based paints are prohibited.

Work Machinery

All work benches and manual saw benches for cutting wood must be equipped with the relevant vacuum cleaner and suction system for the dust and sawdust generated. Any machinery or equipment used must be in good condition, with dangerous parts effectively guarded. Protective devices must be used in the cutting areas and mobile elements. Under no circumstances may these items be used inside the halls after 11 November2015.WorkequipmentusedinthesetupanddismantlingmustbeartheCEmarkandbeingoodworking condition. All workings must be done inside the assigned stand.

Grinding, Welding, Cutting, Painting in the Halls, Hot Work and Naked Flame

For any welding work, the relevant permission must be obtained, the working area must be sufficiently protected and a fire extinguisher belonging to the stand concerned together with the relevant inspection certificate must be present in order to avoid any potential fire outbreaks.

No hot work and naked flame is allowed inside the halls without prior written approval of the ITMA 2015 ServiceTeam.Thesurroundingareamustbeprotectedfromflyingsparkswhenworkisunderway.Anyjointsand cracks should be sealed with appropriate, non-flammable materials. Stands must be equipped with at least one fire extinguisher if any of this work is required at your stand.

Stand Coverings

Stand coverings can be applied for through the Service Forms. Exhibitors must ensure that stand coverings must be of a fire-resistant nature. The Material Data Sheet and relevant certificates should be available for presentation upon request.

Textile Covering

The covering must be classified as Class 1 fire-resistant. Please refer to the Service Forms or the ITMA 2015 Service Team for further information.

B13.5 Other Safety Regulations

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Exhibitors and contractors are required to carry with them and use the necessary protective equipment such as protective helmets, eye protection, hand protection and safety footwear as required by the specific activity and highlighted in the Risk Assessment as per Article B9.2. Hard hats and high visibility reflective clothing for

work under and around double storey stands during construction, steel cap shoes when constructing steel structures, safety glasses when cutting or grinding metal and harnesses when working at height will be required and enforced.

Stud Guns

The use of stud guns is prohibited.

Glass and Acrylic Sheet

Only glass suited to the relevant purpose may be used. In the case of structures made of glass, only laminated safety glass of the UNI type foreseen by UNI norms in law may be used. The edges of display cabinets must be sanded down or protected in such a way that there is no danger of inflicting cuts. Glass doors or any other glass construction must display warning signs at eye level.

Floor Loading and Load Spreaders

The load bearing capacity in all halls is 5 tonnes per square metre, except for Hall 12, which is 0.6 tonnes per square metre.

Whererequired,specialarrangementsincludingtheprovisionofsuitablebaseplatesand/orload-spreadersmay be required for any exhibit exceeding the existing floor loading capacity of the exhibition venue.

B14 Installation of Electrical Facilities

B14.1 General

Services regarding electrical installation and power must be ordered through the Service Forms and submitted online to the ITMA 2015 Service Team, regardless of whether these services will be supplied free of charge according to the “General Regulations” Article A11, points 6 and 7.

All electrical installations must be carried out in accordance with the Italian Electrical Regulations and Italian Laws(D.Mno.37dated22/1/2008)andonlyuseequipment,cablesandmaterialscompliantwithCEIstandards,complete with EC mark and marked for compliance.

The Electrical Contractor appointed by the ITMA 2015 Service Team can undertake all electrical services offered in the Service Forms.

All installations must comply with The Venue’s safety regulations, and the ITMA 2015 Service Team reserves the right to disconnect the electrical power to any installations which in the opinion of the Electrical Engineer are dangerous or likely to cause harm to visitors or other exhibitors.

B14.2 Connections

The stand areas may only be connected to the power mains supplied by staff authorised by ITMA 2015 Service Team. At the conclusion of all electrical installations within the stand and following presentation of the specific application form to the ITMA 2015 Service Team and the technical documents of the installations as provided for by the laws in force, to be precise: “Declaration of Installation Conformity”, pursuant to Decreto Ministeriale(D.M.)no.37of22/1/2008,bearingtheoriginalsignatureoftheinstallers’qualifiedfitter,copyof the registration document from the Italian Chambers of Commerce or Provincial Register of Italian Small Businesses, certifying that the Installer is qualified to make electrical installations must be submitted onsite to ITMA 2015 Service Team before electrical power can be supplied to the stand.

THE “DECLARATIONOF INSTALLATION CONFORMITY”may only be issued by installers authorised toinstallelectricalsystemsasprovidedbyArticle2ofD.M.no.37of22/1/2008Article3.Exhibitorsmustensurethat all their systems are installed by authorised installers that possess the requirements as per the aforesaid law. If exhibitors fail to send the above form and relative attachments to the ITMA 2015 Service Team by the stipulated deadline, the connection of the electrical supply may be delayed. Requests for connection made the day before the Exhibition opens are normally carried out within 8 hours. For obvious reasons of safety, temporary connections to the power supply network during the setting up and dismantling phases may not be made. The power supply will be switched off one hour after the end of the exhibition on the last day of the event.

B14.3 Stand Installation

Exhibitors are fully responsible for ensuring that the electrical systems installed in their stand areas are safe in allaspectsofitsinstallation.Installationsmustbemadewithoutdamaging,disturbingorobstructingadjoiningstand areas.

Exhibitors are required to personally check the mains power supply voltage when connecting up to their machines, and shall exempt ITMA 2015 Service Team and the staff authorised to perform the operation from all liabilityforanydamagethatmayoccurtopeopleand/orproperty ifsaidcheck isnotperformed.Whenmakingtheirelectricalsystems,ExhibitorsmustcomplywiththeprovisionsofD.M.no.37of2/1/2008,therequirements of these technical regulations and only use equipment, cables and materials compliant with CEI standards,completewithCEmarkandmarkedforcompliance(e.g.IMQ).

B14.4 Electrical Specifications

ITMA 2015 Service Team provides the power mains to stand areas directly from electricity suppliers and does not alter its characteristics in any way.

The power from the mains power is delivered through a TN-S system with three-phase distribution at a rated voltageof400V(tolerance+/-10%),3P+N+PE,orone-phasedistributionataratedvoltageof230V(tolerance+/-10%)1P+N+PE,frequency50HZ(tolerance+/-1%).

B14.5 Utility Power Supply Network for Stand Areas

The utility power supply for stand areas is made up of 32 A - 400 V 3P+N+PE-IP55 or 125 A – 400 V 3P+N+PE-IP55(CEIEN60309,IEC60309)EECsocketshousedinfloortrapsorinstalledonwallsandofpowerdistributionboxes fitted with 250 A load-break switches and fuses, housed in floor traps.

The type and number of power sockets available for the stand is shown on the layout plans sent by The OrganisertotheExhibitor.Eachstandareasocketcansupplyuptoamaximumof18kWat400Vthree-phase.Forpowerrequirementsofbetween18kWand70kW,dependingonthetypeandnumberofsocketsavailableinthestandareaandsubjecttoinformationprovidedbytheExhibitortotheITMA2015ServiceTeamfor technical verification, the following solutions may be proposed:

– Distribution of total power required amongst several 32 A power sockets; – Use of a 125 A power socket, if available in the stand area.

Forpowerrequirementsofbetween70kWand150kW,theuseofa250Apowersocketmaybeproposed,ifavailableinthestandarea.Forpowerrequirementsinexcessof150kWorforpowerbetween70kWand150kW,if125Apowersocketsor250Aload-breakswitchesarenotavailableinthestandarea,ITMA2015Service Team may install extra independent lines at specific request to be made at least 60 days before the start of the exhibition set-up period.

ITMA 2015 Service Team will carry out the installation only after the Exhibitor agrees to the cost estimate. Machineswithapowerratinginexcessof15kWshallbeswitchedonusinganinrushcurrentlimitingdevice.Power supply lines will be pulled from service ducts, and may under certain circumstances have to run above ground if the location of the connection point makes this necessary. The ITMA 2015 Service Team is entitled to run power lines and connections serving neighbouring stands across the exhibitor’s stand unless the ITMA 2015 Service Team can provide the electrical connection to the neighbouring stands at the same or lower cost without laying supply lines and connections across the exhibitor’s stand.

B14.6 Utility Outlets

Theutilityoutletsforelectricityare16A230V2P+TEECsocketsinstalledonwallsand/orinfloortrapsatvarious points of each hall. Utility power outlets may only be used by exhibitors and stand fitters during the setting up and dismantling phases for work which requires the use of small electric tools. Such outlets may notbeusedexclusivelyorcontinuously(max30minutes)byanyoneexhibitor.

B14.7 Hall Lighting

The minimum guaranteed level of illumination is 40 lux. Exhibitors requiring stronger lighting than that available in the halls must install their own lights in order to reach the values they consider to be necessary, both during the setting up and dismantling phases and during the Exhibition.

B14.8 Access to Power Outlets

Power outlets must be easy to access and inspect and must always remain unobstructed in order to allow the stand area to be checked and connected by authorised staff and inspected by safety staff. ITMA 2015 ServiceTeamdeclinesallliabilitiesforanydamagecausedtothestandareaand/orthegoodsdisplayeddueto difficulties in performing these operations.

B14.9 General Distribution Panel for Stand Area

Down-line from the power outlet point provided by ITMA 2015 Service Team, Exhibitors must fit a general distribution panel for powering the stand area circuits. This panel must be housed in insulating material or a metal structure complying with the respective product standards and the level of protection must not be lower thanIP4X.Itwillcontainonemulti-pingeneralswitch,eithermagneto-thermicormagneto-thermic-differential,withadifferentialsensitivityofIdn=30mA(0.03A)andofacapacitysufficientforthemaximumpowerinputof the stand area. Several multi-pin partial switches, either magneto-thermic or magneto-thermic-differential, withadifferentialsensitivityofIdn=30mA(0.03A)andofasuitablecapacity,willbeinstalleddown-linefromthe general switch to protect each distribution circuit in the stand area.

Differential protection is required either on the general switch or on the partial switches. Each switch must protect theweakest piece of equipment and/or the cablewith the smallest cross-section.Distribution inthe stand area must be divided into at least two circuits, differentiating the power circuits from the lighting circuits, in particular:

• Single-phasecircuitsmustbeprotecteduplineby10Atwo-pinswitchesiftheypower10Aoutletsoramaximum of 16A if they power 16A outlets.

• Thelightingcircuitsmustbepoweredsingle-phaseandprotecteduplinebymax16Atwo-pinswitches. • Thedistributioncircuitsforthree-phaseusersmustbeprotecteduplinebymulti-pinswitchesofasuitable

capacity.

SwitcheswithadifferentialcalibrationofIdn=30mA(0.03A)areonlyallowedforpoweringmachines.Alltheswitches or similar devices for single-phase distribution are not allowed. Four-pin switches or similar circuit breakers for single-phase distribution are not allowed. If the general panel is not of the column type with a self-supporting base, it must be firmly anchored to the wall or at least to the load-bearing structures of the stand at a height of not less than 1.5 metres from the finished floor of the stand area, positioned so as not to be easily accessible by the public and left unobstructed to allow easy access to authorised staff. It must be possible to identify the position of the panel from outside the stand area.

If the power to the stand area comes from more than one power socket, as many general panels as there are power outlets must be fitted. The characteristics of each general panel must comply with the above specifications and must power well-defined parts of the stand area, dividing it up into electrically independent islands where there are no mixtures or overlapping of circuits powered by different power panels.

B14.10 Connecting the General Panel to the Mains Power Supply

If mains power supply is supplied using EEC sockets, it must be connected to the general panel of the stand area using a 32A-3P+N+PE plug or 125A-3P+N+PE plug with a cable supplied by the Exhibitor. The connecting cable between plug and panel must be long enough to easily reach the power supply outlet without being placed under damaging mechanical stress and must have the following minimum cross-sections:

• 6mm²foreach32A-400V3P+N+PEplug • 50mm²foreach125A-400V3P+N+PEplug

If power is supplied by power distribution boxes fitted with 250A load-break switches, connection must be made by cable supplied by the Exhibitor. The cross-section of this cable must be proportionate to the maximum power drawn from the power distribution box and long enough to easily reach the power supply outlet without being placed under damaging mechanical stress.

B14.11 Switching

Each distribution circuit or service outlet located outside the stand area but powered by the same general panel must be fitted with an easy to access and identify local switching device. Connectors, automatic switches, differential switches, etc deemed to be suitable for switching by the relative standards, may be used for this purpose.

B14.12 Wiring Systems

Copper wires with a minimum cross-section of 2.5 square millimetres, elastomeric or thermoplastic insulation, insulatingvoltageofat least450/750V incompliancewiththeCEI20-20,CEI20-19,CEI20-13standardsforpowercables,andfireretardantcharacteristicsincompliancewithCEIEN50266standards(CEI20-22series)withlowemissionoffumes,toxicandcorrosivegasemissions,incompliancewiththeCEIEN50267standards(CEI20-37/2series)andCEIEN50268standards(CEI20-37/3series)mustbeused.Noflatcablesare allowed.

Allwiresmustbemechanicallyprotectedwithtubesand/orductsfeaturingalevelofprotectionofatleastIP4Xandcompliantwiththerelativeproductstandardsuptoaheightof2.5mfromthefinishedfloorofthestandarea.Wireslaidand/orrunningonthefloormustbeprotectedwithspecialductssuitableforvehicularand/orpedestriantrafficorlaidunderneathraisedflooring.

Wherenecessary,andonlyinareainaccessibletothepublic,cablesmustbejoinedtogetherincompliancewiththerelativestandardsandwithaprotectionlevelofatleastIP4XorIPXXD,orprotectedwithcasingfeaturingaprotectionlevelofatleastIP4X.

If SELV and PELV systems are used, the wires must be protected with insulation capable of withstanding a test voltageof500Vacfor1min,orwithbarriersorcasingfeaturingaprotectionlevelofatleastlP4X.Protectingagainst direct contact by means of obstacles and spacing is not permitted. Protection against indirect contacts by means of non-conductive areas and local ungrounded equipotential contacts is not permitted.

B14.13 Plug Sockets

The stand area must be fitted with a sufficient number of plug sockets, distributed over more than one circuit, to allow user safety requirements to be achieved. All the sockets must be securely fixed at a maximum height of 0.2 metres off the floor. They must be fitted with protected shields to ensure that live parts cannot be accessed and the protection wire must be grounded.

B14.14 Fixed Lighting of the Stand Area

The circuits used to illuminate the stand area must be separate from the ones used to power the sockets. All lighting fixtures must be firmly anchored to the stand structure and located in such a position that they cannot be accessed by the public, at a minimum height of 2.5 metres from the bottom of the fixture to the finished floorofthestandarea,includingverylowvoltagefixtures,andkeptatasuitabledistancefromtheobjectsthey illuminate. For spots and small floodlights, in particular, this distance must be no less than the following unless otherwise indicated in writing by the manufacturer:

• 0.5m:upto100W • 0.8m:from100to300W • 1.0m: from300to500W

Lightingfixturesfittedwithhalogenorhalidelamps,orthosethatmayprojectincandescentmaterialifbroken,must be protected with safety shields and installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Straps may not be used to attach the fixtures to the structures. Lighting systems featuring very low voltage incandescent lamps must comply with related product standards. As well as complying with the relative product standards and manufacturer’s assembly instructions, systems for luminous signs and their components, with operating voltagesinexcessof230/400Vmustbefittedoutofpeople’sreachorsuitablyprotectedtoreducetheriskofinjuringpeople.Theymustbepoweredbyseparatecircuitsandcontrolledbyeasilyaccessibleandvisibleemergency switches.

The switches controlling and protecting these systems must be installed in fireproof cases physically separated from the lower voltage circuits. The stand materials located behind the luminous signs must be fireproof.

B14.15 Very Low Voltage Electronic Transformers and Transducers

A manual restarting device shall be installed to protect the secondary of each electronic transformer or transducer. The very low voltage transformers shall be installed out of people’s reach and must have suitable ventilation. Electronic transducers shall be in compliance with related product standards.

B14.16 Electric Motors

If electric motors are used in the stand that when functioning may give rise to dangerous situations, multi-pin switching devices must be installed near these, in compliance with CEI EN 60204-1 standard.

B14.17 Grounding Metal Masses

All the fixed service outlets comprising the stand area furnishings, all the sockets, all the metal structures, theelectricalpanel(ifmadeoutofmetal),mustbegroundedwithspecialyellow/greenconductorsfeaturinga cross-section of at least 6 square millimetres.

The conductors may not be twisted around the structures; special clamps or equivalent systems must be used. Metal masses shall be connected to the general ground circuit through the PE conductor of the stand area power cable and tested prior to powering the electrical system. If vehicles, wagons, caravans, containers, etcareusedasstandareas,theirmetalmassesmustbeconnectedtothegroundwire(inmorethanoneplaceifthetypeofconstructiondoesnotassurecontinuity).

B14.18 Technical and Safety Regulations

The stand electrical installations must be prepared in full compliance with:

• LegislativeDecree81/2008governingoccupationalhealthandsafety • Law791of18/10/1977implementingEECdirective73/23 • D.M.n.37of22.1.2008

Conformity with the legislative framework corresponds to European CENELEC and Italian CEI legislation with particular reference to CEI 64-8 standard for electrical systems.

B14.19 Electricity Supply Regulations

Exhibitors are responsible for all and any damage caused to third parties deriving from their drawing off more thanthemaximumpowerreservedtothem,evenifsaiddamageconcernsthequalityoftheservice(intermsofsupplycontinuityandvoltagequality)deliveredtoExhibitorsbyITMA2015ServiceTeam.Theuseofthesystems in each stand area, which must comply with current legislation, must not disturb the ITMA 2015 Service Team distribution network. In particular to the following:

• The systemsandequipment in stand areamustnot disturb (voltagefluctuations, harmonicdistortion,voltage dips, high frequencies, etc.) the general distribution network they are connected to such asto exceed the limits established by current standards (EN – IEC – CEI) concerning electromagneticcompatibility; any such disturbances must comply with the regulations and lie within the limits adopted by the National Transmission Network Manager for distribution networks with similar voltages; for this purpose,allprecautionsforlimitingand/orneutralizingthesephenomenamustbetaken;

• Equipmentrephrasingmustnotbelessthancos0.9; • Faultprotectiondevicesinsidethestandareamustbeabletorapidlyandselectivelyisolatejustthepart

of the Exhibitor’s system involved, compatibly with the connection scheme adopted, without affecting the main hall distribution network that the systems of the other exhibitors are connected to;

• AnycircuitsoftheExhibitorthatarepoweredfromothersourcesmustbearranged(unlessotherwiseagreed)sothattheyaretotallydistinctandseparatefromthosepoweredbyelectricitysuppliedbyITMA2015ServiceTeaminordertopreventthepossibilityofparalleling(electricalormechanical),orswitchingthe circuits to different power supplies.

B14.20 Safety Precautions

Asaspecialsafetyprecaution,allheat-generatingandheat-emittingelectricalequipment(hotplates,spotlights,transformers, etc.) must be installed on a non-flammable, asbestos-free base andmonitored adequatelyduringoperation.Dependingontheamountofheatgeneratedand/oremitted,adequatedistancemustbemaintained between the equipment concerned and any flammable materials in the vicinity. Lamps may not be attached to flammable decorations or the like.

B14.21 Periods of Power Supply Power will be supplied as per the requirements stated by exhibitors on the Service Forms.

Exhibitors can choose between an intermittent connection and a permanent connection.

The intermittent connection includes electric consumption and this is included free of charge in the stand rental price for the periods shown in Article A11, point 7 of the “General Regulations”. The permanent connection will be chargeable to the exhibitors, and charges already take into account the value of the intermittent connection. Permanent electrics are relevant for operating outside the standard hours of the intermittent connections.

The laying of cables for one power connection, terminating at a switched isolator for every 200 square metres up to a maximum of 5 connections, and one 4 amp single-phase, for the running of computers, faxes and fridges for 24-hour supply, terminated at one 3-pin switch socket outlet, will be provided free of charge.

Exhibitors who require electricity outside these hours should apply for a permanent connection.

If exhibitors wish to change the intermittent connection to a permanent connection, they must apply to the ITMA 2015 Service Team Office before 1200 hours on the day concerned. Supply is not guaranteed.

B15 Installation of Water and Waste Water Facilities

B15.1 General

Services regarding water and waste water installation must be ordered by signing and returning the Service Forms to the ITMA 2015 Service Team, regardless of whether these services will be supplied free of charge according to Article A11, point 8 of the “General Regulations”.

B15.2 Connections

All halls are equipped with a drinking water system and a drainage system, complete with covered inspection holesonthefloor.Thewater issuppliedthrough3/4”Øthreadedinletsatavariablepressureof3.5barsminimumanddrainedthroughDN110toDN125Øpipes.Ifthereisnowaterconnectionsontheallocatedstand, exhibitors may contact the ITMA 2015 Service Team, which will check whether it is possible to use the connections on the nearest stand.

Connection plans indicating the required position of the connections should be attached to the Service Forms. Theexhibitorisresponsibleforensuringthatthewater/wastewaterinstallationisabletocaterforallitemsat thestand requiringwater/wastewater facilitiesso that theycanalloperatesimultaneously.Should theITMA2015ServiceTeamdeterminethatthewater/wastewaterinstallationorderedbytheexhibitorcannotguarantee the simultaneous operation of all items requiring such facilities, the ITMA 2015 Service Team is entitledtoupgradethewater/wastewaterinstallationattheexpenseoftheexhibitorwithoutbeingaskedtodo so.

Water/wastewaterpipinginthehallswillbepulledfromserviceducts,andmayundercertaincircumstanceshave to be run above ground if the location of the connection point makes this necessary. The ITMA 2015 ServiceTeamisentitledtorunwater/wastewaterpipesandconnectionsservingneighbouringstandsacrossanexhibitor’sstandunlesstheITMA2015ServiceTeamcanprovidethewater/wastewaterconnectiontotheneighbouring stands at the same or lower cost without laying pipes and connections across the exhibitor’s stand.

Should the exhibitor require piping to be laid across public aisles or third-party stands, prior approval must be obtained from the ITMA 2015 Service Team. Any piping laid in this respect must give due consideration to the safetyofthepublicandexhibitorsalikeandbepaidforbytheexhibitorconcerned.Wastewaterpollutedwithchemicals may not be fed into the sewage system.

For safety reasons, the water supply and waste water disposal facilities will be cut off one hour after the end of the exhibition on the last day of the event.

B15.3 Stand Installation Plumbing facilities (water/wastewater facilities)within the confines of the stand can be installed by the

exhibitor’s plumbers approved plumbing contractors in accordance with relevant EU requirements and accepted technical practice. Plumbing work within the confines of the stand can also be carried out by the ITMA2015ServiceTeamand/oritsappointedcontractors.

B15.4 Periods of Water Supply

B16 Installation of Compressed Air Facilities and Tubes

B16.1 General

Services regarding compressed air must be ordered through the online Service Forms to the ITMA 2015 Service Team. If needed, special quotations should be requested before 1 June 2015. Please refer to the Service Forms or the ITMA 2015 Service Team for further information.

B16.2 Connections

The provision of exhibition stands with compressed air is possible in the halls. It generally occurs via a connection to a compressor station. The ITMA 2015 Service Team reserves the right to install a compressor for the supply of compressed air at the stand in cases where, for instance, little compressed air is required. The use of a compressor to be supplied by the exhibitor himself must be reported to the ITMA 2015 Service Team through the Service Forms before 1 June 2015. Such compressor can be place within the stand of the exhibitor or outside the hall. The placement of the compressor outside the hall should be requested under special quotations of the relevant Service Forms. Exhibitors will have to pay for the charges associated with the installation of the piping and wiring connections, including opening and making good of the wall opening through the hall facilities by the Venue or their appointed vendor.

The exhibitor is not allowed to obtain compressed air for his stand from such persons as have not been authorisedtosupplycompressedairbytheITMA2015ServiceTeam.WithoutpriorapprovaloftheITMA2015 Service Team, exhibitors are expressly forbidden to obtain compressed air from neighbouring stands. Compressed air facilities from the ITMA 2015 Service Team’s own mains to the individual stands may only be installedbytheITMA2015ServiceTeamand/oracontractorappointedbyit.Thecompressedairinstallationsencompass the main compressed air connection together with associated compressed air supply lines. The exhibitor is responsible for ensuring that the compressed air installation is able to provide all items at the stand requiring compressed air with sufficient compressed air so that they can all operate simultaneously. Should the ITMA 2015 Service Team determine that the compressed air installation ordered by the exhibitor cannot guarantee the simultaneous operation of all items requiring compressed air, the ITMA 2015 Service Team is entitled to upgrade the compressed air installation at the expense of the exhibitor without being asked to do so.

Compressed air supply lines will be pulled from service ducts, but may under certain circumstances have to be run above ground if the location of the connection point makes this necessary. The ITMA 2015 Service Team is entitled to run compressed air supply lines and connections serving neighbouring stands across the exhibitor’s stand unless the ITMA 2015 Service Team can provide the compressed air connection to the neighbouring stands at the same or lower cost without laying supply lines and connections across the exhibitor’s stand.

Should exhibitors require compressed air supply lines to be laid across public aisles or third-party stands, prior approval of the ITMA 2015 Service Team must be sought. Any compressed air supply lines laid in this respect must give due consideration to the safety of the public and exhibitors alike and be paid for by the exhibitor concerned.

A ground plan indicating the required position of the connections should be attached to the ITMA 2015 Service Forms.

For safety reasons, the compressed air supply will be cut off one hour after the end of the exhibition on the last day of the event.

B16.3 Stand Installation

Exhibitors should order the compressed air point and supply on the stand through the Service Forms. If exhibitors choose to use their own electrical compressors, it has to be equipped with a silencer. The sound level of the compressors measured on the stand borders must not in any case exceed 70 dB.

The location of the compressor must be indicated on the plans. The compressor must also be declared through the Service Forms. Pressure vessel cylinders, liquids or gases must be constructed and stamped in accordance with recommendations of the regulatory body. The cylinders must be painted with identifying colors in accordance with international standards. Only one cylinder at any one time is to be introduced on the stand. Cylinders should be stored in pre-determined areas based on the right storage method and position approved by the ITMA 2015 Service Team. Pressure vessel cylinders must not be connected or disconnected while the public is on the premise.

Any connections, machines or equipment that have not been authorised, do not comply with the relevant regulations or use more compressed air than indicated in the application are prohibited. They can be removed from the stand and put in storage by the ITMA 2015 Service Team at the expense and risk of the exhibitor. The ITMA 2015 Service Team cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from these measures.

B16.4 Compressed Air Specifications

The Venue has the following compressed air specifications:

• Averagepressure:8Bar,15litres/second • Dryness: 2°Cpdp(pressuredewpoint)

Exhibitors who require specific specifications should request for it through the Service Forms.

B17 Gas Installation

No gas supply is available in the halls. The ITMA 2015 Service Team will review requests from exhibitors on a case-by-case basis, under special technical services.

B18 Anchorage Bolt Holes, Grooves and Channels

Exhibitors can apply through the Service Forms for anchorage bolt holes which may be necessary to secure their machinery. Bolt holes should not be closer than 1 metre to the nearest service ducts; the maximum depth cannot exceed 150 mm from the top surface of the floor and the maximum diameter of the hole cannot exceed 24 mm. Bolt holes will be drilled perpendicularly.

All anchorage requests must be submitted by 1 June 2015 to the ITMA 2015 Service Team through the relevant Service Form. The floor will be restored to its original condition by the ITMA 2015 Service Team at the end of the show.AnchorageboltholescanonlybeprovidedbytheITMA2015ServiceTeamand/oracontractorappointedbyit.

An additional charge will be levied for any alteration of anchorage bolt holes onsite. To avoid disruption, exhibitors are requested to submit this request as early as possible.

Exhibitors must not carry out any work on their own. Any violation of this rule will result in the restoration of the space toitsoriginalconditionattheexhibitor’sexpenseplusapenaltyequalto15%ofthecostofthework.

The cutting of grooves or channels on the floors for laying cables or other conductors is forbidden in the halls. For safety reasons, exhibitors must protect cables and connections running on their stand with floorboards or cable covers.

B19 Rigging and Hanging Points

The provision of supporting structures and fixing points for suspending items from the hall ceiling is the exclusive responsibility of the ITMA 2015 Service Team. Any changes to supporting structures may only be carried out by the ITMA 2015 Service Team. To this end, the ITMA 2015 Service Team will appoint specialist contractors to do the work required. To the extent structurally feasible, the exhibitor will be provided with a fixing point at the desired position above the stand area. Plans should be attached to the Service Form, clearly showing the desired positioning of the fixing points and height details. Items to be suspended may only be located above and within the stand confines. Construction heights are to be taken into account. The ITMA 2015 Service Team will review the feasibility of the desired fixing points. Each suspension point of the hall ceiling structure can withstand a maximum perpendicular load of 150kg every 4 metres.

It is imperative that exhibitors provide the following information to the ITMA 2015 Service Team: a)Drawingstoindicatealldimensionsoftheelementsanddistancebetweenhangingpointsb)Weightofallelementsc)Orientation

Attaching Items to the Fixing Points

Itemstobesuspended fromthefixingpointsordered (lightingsupports,spotlightsetc)mayonlybefittedby thegiven exhibitor’s own specialists or by specialist companies authorised to do so in compliance with the relevant Italian regulations(MinisterialDecree14/01/2008)andacceptedtechnicalpractice.AllriggingandmaterialsaresubjecttoTheVenue’s approval. See below for illustration.

Thefittingsandapparatusshallbefittedwithsecondarysafetywires/chainsandbrackets.

There are no height restrictions regarding the fixing of lighting supports, spotlights and other lighting items. However, banners, logos, exhibitor names and other promotional elements attached to the rigging must not exceed 6 metres in height (measured from the top of the banner to the ground).

Allbanners/lightingrigs/ceilingsthatarehungfromtheroofofthehallmustformanintegralpartoftheexhibitor’sstand and must be contained within the space of the stand.

Withregardtotheattachmentandsecuringofitemstobesuspended,relevantsafetyregulations(MinisterialDecree14/01/2008)mustbeobserved.

The following are prohibited: •Suspendingofstandcomponentsorexhibits•Securingofstandcomponentsofexhibits(standcomponentsand/orexhibitsmuststandsecurelyintheirownright)•Suspendingofitemswitharigidand/orfrictionalconnectiontothehallfloor

Exceptions to these regulations require prior written authorisation by the ITMA 2015 Service Team. The fitting and securing of items to be suspended, as well as the provision and fixing of complete lighting systems etc, can also be ordered from the ITMA 2015 Service Team.

B20 Use of Pressure Equipment, Exhaust Systems, Compressed Gases, Flammable Liquids and Other Dangerous Substances

B20.1 Pressure Equipment

Compliance Certification

Pressure equipment, containers under pressure and machines that include such kind of equipment should be CE marked and should have, if applicable, a compliance certification.

• Forpressureequipmentandcontainers–seedirective97/23/CE. • Forsimplecontainersunderpressure–seedirective2009/105/CE. • Forthemachines–seedirective2006/42/CE.

Compliance documentation should be kept in the stand for inspection purposes.

B20.2 Exhaust Gases, Vapours and Exhaust Systems

Vapours and gases which are emitted by exhibits and equipment with toxicity, flammability or biological inconveniencecharacteristics,shouldbetreatedinaccordancewiththerulesofLegislativeDecree81/2008and subsequent modifications and integrations.

The exhaust ducting may only be installed by the ITMA 2015 Service Team or a contractor appointed by it. A ground plan indicating the required position of the ducting should be attached to the Service Forms.

B20.3 Compressed Gas and Liquid Gas Systems

Thestorageanduseofcompressedgasand/orliquidgasintheexhibitionhallsorontheexhibitiongroundsisnot allowed without the written approval of the ITMA 2015 Service Team. Please refer to the Service Forms for further information.

Only inertgascylinders (CO2–nitrogen–argon–heliumetc.)areadmitted insidethehallsprovidedthatfollowing rules are complied with:

• Thecylindersmustbekeptat½themaximumoperationpressure; • Theymustbekeptawayfromheatsourcesandinaventilatedarea; • Theymustbekeptinanuprightpositionandmustbesolidlysecuredinordertoavoidfallingover.

Flammable compressed gas cylinders or flammable liquid gas cylinders should be kept only outside the halls in dedicated areas.

Forgassupply to themachines inside thehalls,special installationscanbe realisedby theVenue.Kindlycontact the ITMA 2015 Service Team for more information.

B20.4 Flammable Liquids

Storage and Use

The storage and use of flammable liquids in the exhibition halls and on the exhibition grounds is prohibited without written approval to this effect. Approval for the storage and use of flammable liquids can only be granted in connection with the operation or demonstration of exhibits. Please refer to the Service Forms for further information.

Storage Limits

Inflammable liquids must be stored in the special external deposits provided by the Venue. Suitable closed metal containers must be used to transport them to the stand. Only the quantities strictly necessary for operating the machinery for one day may be kept in the stand area. Fire extinguishers and “No smoking” signs must be placed near the containers and machines. The containers should be kept in areas with no public access.

If several containers need to be used, the total net weight may not exceed 11kg.

Storage Location

Smoking is strictly forbidden at the storage location. Appropriate signs must be provided. Hand-held fire extinguishers must be available.

Conditions to which Operation is Subject

Equipment operated or demonstrated with flammable liquids must be provided with non-flammable spill basins at all filling points as well as at all locations from which liquids can escape. Flammable liquids that have leaked out must be removed immediately from the basins and disposed of safely due to the potential risk of fire or explosion.

Empty Containers

Empty containers that have been used for storing flammable liquids may not be kept or stored at the stand or in the hall. Only empty cylinders are allowed for devices and equipment that are not operated for demonstration purposes and must be clearly labelled as such.

B20.5 Radiation Protection

Radioactive Materials

The use of radioactive materials is only possible with a special permit and approval from the ITMA 2015 Service Team. The permit must be applied for from the appropriate authorities in accordance to Legislative Decree81/2008asperLeg.Decree230/95andmodificationsbyLeg.Decrees241/2000and257/2001andsubmitted to the ITMA 2015 Service Team through the Service Forms. Insofar as a permit has been issued, the exhibitor must prove that the intended use of radioactive materials at the exhibition grounds is covered by the permit concerned. Please refer to the Service Forms for further information.

X-ray Equipment and Spurious Radiation Equipment

It is forbidden to bring in ionising radiation generators (X-ray apparatus) or radioactive material into theexhibitions halls. An exception will be made for equipment in which activity, concentration of radionuclides or emission of radiation is negligible. A declaration must be submitted to the relevant authorities, Health Authority,FireBrigade,DepartmentofLabour,ARPA(RegionalEnvironmentalProtectionAgency)atleast30days prior to the introduction of the material to the halls. Applications for approval must be submitted to the ITMA 2015 Service Team.

Laser Equipment

Laser equipment that is part of a machine and equipment that can be freely exhibited provided that they are declared by the manufacturer in conformity to the enforceable product’s directives referred to the CE markingsasperLeg.Decree81/2008.

The laser equipment should conform to the rules of EN ISO 11553-1:2008; EN ISO 11553-2:2008; EN 12254; EN 60825-1:2007; EN 60825-4:2006.

High-frequency Equipment, Radio Systems, Electromagnetic Fields

The operations of machines or equipment with high frequency that may cause any risk of physical agents are ruledbyLeg.Decree81/2008TitleVIII.

The use of paging systems, microport equipment, two-way radio intercom equipment and telecontrol equipmentissubjecttoapprovalbytheTelecommunicationsandPostRegulatoryAuthority.Acopyoftheapproval documents issued by the Regulatory Authority is to be submitted to The Organiser through the Service Forms.

Moreover, the operation of high-frequency equipment and radio systems is only permitted if a sufficiently large frequency gap is verifiably left between the frequencies/applications they use and those already inuse at the exhibition grounds. This verification must be submitted to The Organiser. Details regarding the frequencies/applicationsinuseattheexhibitiongroundsareavailablefromtheITMA2015ServiceTeam.

B20.6 Asbestos and Other Dangerous Substances

The use of materials or products with an asbestos content or of any other dangerous substances is prohibited, ruledbyLeg.Decree81/2008TitleIX.

B21 Care of the Halls

B21.1 General

Hall components and technical facilities must not be damaged, soiled or in any way changed.

No paint, wallpaper or adhesives can be applied to hall components and technical facilities. They must not besubjectedtoanystrainfromstandconstructionorexhibitsforwhichtheyarenotintended.Hallpillars/supports within the stand area must, where applicable, be integrated into the stand design provided they are notdamagedandprovidedthatthemaximumstandheightisnotexceeded(6metres)andthatanydeviceonthe pillar is kept visible and accessible.

All the connection panels located on the floor of the halls must be kept clear for inspection at all times.

B21.2 Hall Floors

Carpets and other floor coverings must be laid with due regard to safety and may not protrude beyond the stand area.

Only adhesive tape that leaves no trace when removed may be used to fix such coverings. No other adhesive materials or paint may be used on the hall floors. Any materials used must be removed without leaving any trace. Substances such as oil, grease and paint must be removed from the floor immediately.

Exhibitors should refer to Article B18 regarding repair to the halls following the drilling of anchorage bolt holes.

B21.3 Damage

Exhibitors should immediately inform the ITMA 2015 Service Team of any damage which may occur. Any damage caused by exhibitors or their contractors within The Venue, its buildings or facilities will be remedied by the ITMA 2015 Service Team at the expense of the exhibitor concerned at the end of ITMA 2015.

B22 Waste Management

B22.1 General

All persons generating waste at the exhibition grounds are responsible for the correct, environmentally friendly disposal of same. All such persons have the option of taking the waste they generate with them and correctly disposing of same outside the exhibition grounds or of allowing the contractors appointed by the ITMA2015ServiceTeamtodisposeofthewasteontheirbehalf.Wastewillberemovedfreeofchargewiththe exception of fabrics. Exhibitors can commission the ITMA 2015 Service Team to dispose of the fabrics at a fee. Each person generating waste is obliged to comply with the regulations required by law and the relevant authorities as well as with the following provisions.

Should the given person generating waste be working directly or indirectly on behalf of an exhibitor, the latter is then deemed to be responsible for this person’s behaviour too. If the person generating waste fails to comply with the regulations required by law or the relevant authorities or with the following provisions, the ITMA 2015 Service Team is entitled to assert claims against the person concerned as well as against the exhibitor on whose behalf the person generating waste is directly or indirectly working. In such cases, the persongeneratingwasteandtheexhibitoraredeemedtobejointlyandseverallyliable.

B22.2 Waste Disposal

Exhibitors and the contractors they appoint are obliged to do their utmost to avoid generating waste in all phases of the exhibition. This aim must be incorporated in the planning work and co-ordinated with all those involved. Such materials as are recyclable and pollute the environment as little as possible should be used for stand-building purposes.

During the exhibition period, waste left in rubbish bags at the edge of the stand after 1900 hours will be removed free of charge. The storage of waste in the aisles is strictly forbidden. Removal of stand building materials, stand elements, floor covering, machinery and parts of machinery shall be chargeable.

Exhibitors who wish to keep their waste materials may remove them after 1900 hours during the exhibition. Exhibitors should make this request with the ITMA 2015 Service Team Office in writing by 1200 hours on the day concerned.

B22.3 Stand Building Waste Materials

Stand building waste materials generated during set up and dismantling must be disposed of by the stand contractor. Unauthorised abandoned materials will be disposed of and The Organiser reserves the right to deductthisamountfromtheexhibitor’sPerformanceBond(seeArticleA15ofthe“GeneralRegulations”).

B22.4 Waste Requiring Special Supervision

Each person generating waste is obliged to notify the ITMA 2015 Service Team of any special waste or other waste that by virtue of its nature, characteristics or quantity constitutes a particular danger to public health or the environment or is explosive or combustible, and to have it disposed of correctly by an appropriate contractor appointed by The Organiser. The waste materials concerned are especially the following: oils, detergents, spray cans with contents, impregnating agents, chemicals, salts, mercury (e.g. contained inswitchesandthermometers),emulsions,acids,lyes,paints,adhesives,waxes,solvents(suchaspetrol,spirit,triacetone,paintthinner,glycerine),batteries,rechargeablebatteries,electriccircuits,fluorescenttubes,PVCleftovers(e.g.floorandwalltiles),televisionandradiosets,motors,refrigerators,etc.

The same applies to the disposal of rubble, bulky waste items such as stand construction elements, machinery and parts of machinery and for carpeting. A fee will be charged for the disposal of such materials and waste. Shouldthepersongeneratingwastenotdisposesuchwasteappropriately,thePerformanceBond(seeArticleA15ofthe“GeneralRegulations”)willbeappliedtoanycostsincurredbytheITMA2015ServiceTeam.

B22.5 Waste Water Management

Wastewaterfedintothesewersmaynotcontainmorepollutantsthanisusualforthewastewaterproducedby private households. As far as mobile catering facilities are concerned, all waste grease and oil must be collected and disposed of separately. Any exhibitors manufacturing, processing or demonstrating oily or greasy goods or operating a commercial dish-washer with a duty cycle of 2 minutes maximum at their stands must drain off any waste water generated through grease separators.

Wastemustbecollected,transported,storedanddisposedofincompliancewithLegislativeDecreen°152of 2006 and subsequent amendments and additions. The uncontrolled storage of harmful-toxic waste is forbidden by law and is a criminal offence under Italian Law. If necessary, the ITMA 2015 Service Team will report this to the proper authorities.

It is forbidden to discharge into the sewers waste water deriving from working machinery and effluent substances. These must be collected and removed from the Exhibition Centre in accordance with the relevant legislation.

Thehandlingofsuchoily/greasywastewaterthatexceedsthewastewaterproducedbyprivatehouseholdsmust be discussed with the ITMA 2015 Service Team. The service to handle and dispose of such substances can be hired through the online Service Forms.

B22.6 Environmental Damage

TheITMA2015ServiceTeammustbenotifiedimmediatelyofanyenvironmentaldamage/pollution(causedbye.g.petrol,oil,solvents,paint).

B23 Machine Safety and Demonstration of Exhibits

B23.1 Equipment and Product Safety Code

During the exhibition, exhibited machinery and equipment can run freely provided they do not constitute a threat or annoyance to the public and on condition that all regulations and norms related to accidents and fire prevention, including the regulations laid down in the ITMA 2015 Technical Regulations, are observed. In accordance with the accident-prevention regulations, the side where the machine operator is standing and operating the machine must be located at least 0.70 metres from the edge of the aisle.

Exhibition of Machinery Without CE Marking or which Do Not Comply with European Safety Legislation

All exhibited machinery must comply with the Italian and European laws in force regarding safety and accident-prevention.Inparticular,asperLegislativeDecreeno.17of27/01/2010fortheaccomplishmentofDirective2006/42CEreferringtomachinery,thefollowingregulation(Article3,7)mustbestrictlyobserved:

Article 3 (market admission and installation), 7 -On the occasion of fairs, exhibitions, demonstrations orthe like, the presentation of machines, parts or accessories not complying with this Legislative Decree is permitted, provided that a visible sign indicates clearly the non-conformity of these machines, and that these machines,partsoraccessoriescannotbesuppliedforuseintheEuropeanEconomicCommunity(EEC)untilthey conform to the Legislative Decree.

On the occasion of the demonstrations of these machines, parts or accessories, adequate safety measures must be taken in order to guarantee the protection of the public.

B23.2 Demonstration of Exhibits and Safety Devices

Allplantandmachinery(eitherinoperationornot)shallbeeffectivelyguardedtopreventinjurytoanypersonand, if necessary, shall be adequately fixed to the hall floor to ensure continuous safety and stability.

A list of all machinery or equipment which is to be demonstrated in operation must be declared through the Service Forms for approval by the ITMA 2015 Service Team.

Machinery and equipment components may only be operated if all relevant safety devices are in place. The standard safety devices can be replaced by a secure covering made of organic glass or another suitable, transparent material.

Special Precautions for Machinery that is Set in Motion on the Stand

• Machinerymaynotbedemonstratedorbroughtintooperationwithoutthepresenceofaqualifiedoperatoron the stand.

• Allmachinerymustbecorrectlystabilisedinordertopreventmovement. • Allpresentationsanddemonstrationsarethesoleresponsibilityoftheexhibitor. • Nomachinerymustbeoperatedunlesstherequiredguardsandsafetyappliancesareinposition,properly

adjustedandinfullworkingorder. • Nopersonshalldemonstrateoroperatemachineryunlesshe/shehasreceivedappropriatetrainingand

clear instructions;both in relation to theoperationof themachineryandhis/her responsibilities to themembers of the public in both normal and emergency situations.

• Suitable,clearlyvisibleandaccessibleemergencystopcontrolsmustbeavailable. • All sources of power to and frommachinery including electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic, should be

provided with an isolator which should be switched off when machinery is not actually being demonstrated by an authorised user.

• Acousticpromotionaldeviceswithloudspeakersandallexhibitingmachinerymusthavein-builtvolumeregulators and/ornoisediffusers; andwhen inoperationmustnot interferewith thecomfort level, ofvisitors and exhibitors.Where necessary, appropriate noise reducingmeasures such as silencers, earplugs and ear defenders must be used.

The differential noise level, that is, the difference between ambient noise level “La” and residual noise level “Lr”(obtainedbymeasuringthenoise levelwithouttheequipmentunderexamination),measuredat1mfrom the edge of the stand and 1.5 m from the floor, must not exceed a continuous equivalent sound level “Leq”of5dB(A).Inanycase,themaximumambientnoiselevelmustnotexceed70dB(A)Leq.

Anincrementof3dB(A)foreachimpulse,toneorlowfrequency(between20Hzand200Hz)componentrecognised during reading is applied to the measure.

If thenoise isdeclarednot to last formore thananhour (during theentireexhibitionday), themeasuredambientnoiselevelisdecreasedby3dB(A);ifthenoiselastslessthan15minutes,itisdecreasedby5dB(A).

Exhibitors are obliged to respect any other specific indications, provisions or evaluations made by the ITMA 2015 Team.

• Adequate extraction or other equally effectivemethodsmust be provided for dust, chips and fumes. Wherenecessary,appropriateexplosionreleaseandfirepreventionmeasuresmustbeincorporated. • Adequatelightingmustbeprovidedbothforthemachineanditssurroundingarea. • Whereappropriate,screensmustbeusedtoprovideadequateeyeprotectiontomembersofthepublic. • Personsdemonstratingmachinerymustwearadequatepersonalprotectiveequipmentwhereappropriate. • Wheredemonstrationsarelikelytocreatetoxicornoxiousfumesorunacceptablestrongsmellingodours in the hall, consideration must be given to providing exhaust to the atmosphere. The ITMA 2015 Service Team will control all Health and Safety matters relating to ITMA 2015, and its decision

is final in all matters. Failure to abide by the decisions of the ITMA 2015 Service Team may result in the withdrawaloftheexhibitor’srighttodemonstrateexhibits,restrictionontheuseoftheexhibitionstandand/or other appropriate action.

Where equipment is not operated, the safety devices can be removed to give visitors a clearer view ofthe design and construction of the normally covered components. The safety devices must then be clearly displayed next to the machine.

B23.3 Test Procedures

The exhibited technical equipment may be inspected for accident prevention and safety characteristics by the relevant supervisory authority.

Exhibitors are advised to have their EU Conformity Declaration available on the stand for CE coding verification purposes. If in doubt, exhibitors should contact the relevant authorities in good time prior to commencement of the event.

B23.4 Operating Prohibition

Exhibitors must not demonstrate machinery in a way that will cause a nuisance to neighbouring exhibitors particularly in respect of the production of heat, vibration, pollution due to solvents or excessive noise.

The ITMA 2015 Service Team may at any time forbid the operation, exhibition or presence on the stand ofmachineryorequipment, if intheiropinion it jeopardisesthesafetyofvisitorsandexhibitorsorcausesexcessive inconvenience, pollution or noise.

B23.5 Control of Excessive Noise in the Halls

Particularly noisy machines are only authorised to operate for 20 minutes within each hour. This restriction applies to the following product codes:

The timing and procedures for the demonstration of this machinery will be notified to exhibitors concerned in due course by the ITMA 2015 Service Team.

The operation of this machinery is restricted to 5 minutes every hour if the stand is situated, at the exhibitor’s request, in a hall other than the one in which the machinery should normally have been exhibited, considering its type and the product codes of the ITMA 2015 “Index of Products” as declared in the “Application for Admission and Rental Contract for Space”.

B24 Forms of Information and Promotion, Restrictions

B24.1 General

Allexhibitoractivities (includingthedistributionofsamplesandsouvenirs)mustbecarriedoutexclusivelywithin the exhibitor’s own stand area. Excluded from this restriction is advertising in the exhibition catalogue, official websites, the ITMA 2015 Daily Newspaper and within The Venue, as provided by The Organiser. Notwithstandingotherprovisions inthese“TechnicalRegulations”(i.e. formachinery inArticleB23.5) thenoise level at the stand perimeter may not exceed 70dB.

Despite having given its prior approval, the ITMA 2015 Service Team is entitled to restrict or prohibit all kinds of performance which cause noise, visual disturbance, dirt, dust, vibrations or other emissions or for other reasons that constitute a significant disturbance to the exhibition or its participants.

The ITMA 2015 Service Team also reserves the right to enforce further restrictions in specific cases.

The ITMA 2015 Service Team is entitled at the risk and expense of the given exhibitor to access stands to remove, cover over or otherwise prevent advertising violating the above regulations.

B24.2 Film, Slides, Fashion Shows and Presentations

On-stand Fashion Shows and Similar Activities

Exhibitors are allowed to stage fashion shows according to the following rules:

• Inordertomanagetheaudience,exhibitorsmustnotuselessthanonesafetyguardforevery15peoplein the audience.

• Exhibitorsmustensurethataudiencesdonotstandintheaisleswhenviewingashow.

• Exhibitorsmustensurethataviewingareaofsufficientsizeisincorporatedintothestanddesignsoastoavoid the possibility of audiences standing in the aisles.

• Themaximumnumberofpersonswhichmaybeaccommodatedintheaudiencespaceshallbecalculatedin relation to the area utilised at the rate of 4 square metres per person.

• Thespacefor theaudienceat thestandmusthaveexits thatguidepeopledirectly toagangwaythatterminates at a hall exit.

• Anymachineryexhibitsadjacenttotheaudienceareamustbeswitchedoffduringtheperformanceoftheshow.

• Ashowwillberestrictedto15minutesdurationandnomorethanfourshowswillbeallowedduringanyone day.

• ExhibitorsmustsubmitfullproductionplansforshowstotheITMA2015ServiceTeamby1June2015forapproval and confirmation to the exhibitor. They must include lighting plots, sound track details, celebrity attendance and running orders.

• Exhibitors must also ensure compliance with all other rules and regulations contained within these“Technical Regulations”.

During the show, Hall Managers will carry out regular checks to ensure exhibitors comply fully with the regulations and do not unreasonably disturb either visitors or neighbouring stands.

The Organiser’s decision on any issue concerning the rules will be final. Failure to comply with regulations will ultimately result in stand power supplies being terminated.

Advertising Tax and Musical Reproduction

Every exhibitor is required to pay the City of Rho an advertising tax levied on whatever is considered to be taxable in compliance with the Presidential Decree No. 639 dated Oct. 26th, 1972. In the interest of the exhibitors, an agreement has been attained with the City of Rho whereby this tax is charged at a flat rate of Euro2.50persquaremetre(relevanttogroundfloorspaceanddoublestoreyspace).Inordertostreamlinethe procedures involved and relieve exhibitors from unnecessary burdens, this tax has already been included in the stand rental price and the Organiser will make all the necessary applications and payments to the City of Rho on behalf of all exhibitors.

Foralltypesofmusicalandaudio-visualreproductionsubjecttotheprovisionsoftheCopyrightActvalidatthegiventime,permissionrequiredfromSIAE(ItalianAuthorsandPublishersAssociation)whomanagetherightsof phonograph producers and of authors is covered by the payment of the above advertising tax. Royalties pursuanttoArticles72and73bisL.633/1941duetointerpretingandperformingartistsandphonographicproducers holding such rights to recordings and, on their behalf, the SCF – Consorzio Fonografici, are also included.

Thisdoesnot,however,cover liveperformances(withsingersand/ormusical instruments).Exhibitorswillhave to fill up a form (available on the service formsonline) stating thedetails of the liveperformances.Thedetailswillbe forwarded toSIAE (ItalianAuthorsandPublishersAssociation),whowilladviseon therespective fee payable. It also does not include royalties due to interpreting and performing artists and phonographic producers pursuant to Article 73 of the aforementioned law for the broadcasting of sound recordings and music videos in the course of live performances such as fashion shows, DJ sets, with or without dancing. The applicable fee will be advised by SCF after the details made available in the form have been forwarded to them. Exhibitors of such events can contact the SCF – Consorzio Fonografici, via Leone XIII, 14 – Milan – for the purposes of fulfilling the obligations laid down by current laws.

Use of Original Works

The use of audio, video, graphical, or multimedia support containing original works or parts of the same protectedpursuanttoArticleno.633of22.4.1941shallbesubjecttothepaymentofroyaltiesoncopyrightsand of such charges as pertain to certification of said supports pursuant to Article 181bis of said act. Any unauthorised use of original works and the absence of the SIAE mark on the aforementioned supports shall be punished pursuant to Article 171 ff. of Article no. 633/41.

Presentation Rooms on Stands

Rooms used for audiences, assemblies and other gatherings require special approval if they can hold more than 100 persons.

Rooms used for audiences, assemblies and other gatherings must have at least two exits in the immediate vicinity of the hall aisles. These exits must be located as far apart from each other as possible. In rooms with rows of seats or tables and chairs, the aisles and exits serving such rooms must have a minimum clearance width of 1.2 metre per 100 persons using them in an emergency. The application for approval must be submitted through the Service Forms.

Seating – seats must be arranged in sectors containing a maximum of 10 rows with no more than 10 seats per row. Seats must be secured together in a stable manner and it is allowed to place rows with a maximum of 4 seats along the side walls of the room.

Exit routes – the room must have an exit system on the basis of the maximum capacity. The width of the exit must be no less than 1.2 metres and increase at a multiple of 0.60 metres. Height of the exit routes must not be lower than 2.10 metres and exit routes must be keep clear of all materials that may impede regular movements of people. Doors of the exit routes must open outwards.

Lighting and Safety signs – Emergency lighting must ensure a level of illumination of no less than 5 lux located 1.00 metre from the walkways along the exit routes and no less than 2 lux in the other settings accessible to the public. The exit doors must be fitted with luminous safety signs powered by a dual system: normal and emergency. Single lamps with independent power supply are permitted provided that they ensure operation for at least one hour. Exits in rooms where films are shown must be lit adequately when such rooms are darkened. Curtains in the vicinity of the exits must end 0.1 metre above the floor and are to be provided with a clearly visible, white strip approximately 2cm wide running along the vertical edges used for opening and closing.

Rooms must have appropriate signs forbidding smoking at all times.

B24.3 Prohibited and Restricted Forms of Information and Promotion

The following forms of information and promotion are strictly prohibited:

• Distributionofprintedinformationpertainingtoexhibitors’products,outsidethestand.

• Anykindofadvertisingactivitiesinfavourofnon-exhibitingcompaniesororganisations. • Performanceofentertainers,contestsandsimilarpromotionalactivities. • Competitions,prizedrawsandsimilarpromotionalactivities. • Especially to promote the sale of or to sell second-hand machinery.

• Ifanexhibitorwantstousethenameofanotherexhibitororthenameofaproductofanotherexhibitoronhisstand,thisshouldbesubjecttopriorwrittenapprovalbytherespectiveotherexhibitor.TheITMA2015Service Team will take appropriate measures if the above mentioned exhibitor complains.

B24.4 Promotional Materials Supplied by The Organiser

By participating in ITMA 2015, exhibitors have a unique opportunity to market their company, meet existing and potential customers and to publicise new products in the technical press.

The Organiser offers the following practical promotional materials to help exhibitors to communicate their participation in ITMA 2015 and attract more visitors to their stands. Exhibitors can write in to [email protected] to request for the following promotional materials. Please allow at least 2.5 weeks for the materials to reach you via post.

B24.5 Press Services

TheOrganiserwillestablishaPressCentreforITMA2015whichwillbereservedexclusivelyforjournalists.It will be open from 11 to 19 November 2015 inclusive, 0900 to 1800 hours.

Exhibitors may reserve Press Compartments in the Press Centre where they can leave all types of information, e.g. press releases, press brochures etc. They can order a press compartment through the Service Forms. Material should be left at the Press Centre before the exhibition starts.

By means of Electronic Press Compartments, the media can be informed online, before, during and even after the exhibition about latest trends, current product innovations and the company’s presentation at ITMA 2015.

Apressconferenceschedulewillbepostedontheinternetandannouncedtojournalistsworldwide.

B25 Exhibitor/Installer/Service Badges

Exhibitor, installer and service badges will be issued if the relevant service form and list of names are submitted by the deadline of 15 September 2015. Exhibitors must collect their badges at the Exhibitor Registration area from 25 October 2015.

Please note that badges will be released only when payment for services has been paid in full.

It is strictly prohibited for exhibitors, installers and service providers to enter the stands of other exhibitors.

Exhibitors are reminded that minors 14 years and below shall not be admitted into the Exhibition for whatever reasons.

Minors of age 15 to 17 inclusive are admitted to the Exhibition only upon filling in and filing the relevant ‘Form forAttendanceofMinors’bytheparentsand/oradultshavingparentalrightsontheminor/sand/orbeinglegally responsible.

B25.3 Service Badges

Exhibitors can order a Badge Reader System to capture information of all visitors to their stands. The Badge Reader System can be ordered through the online Service Forms.

This system allows access to profile information of the visitor. More information about the type of badge reader system will be available in the Service Form.

B27 Catering

The Venue has a dedicated Food & Beverage Department for all catering services.

Exhibitors can also appoint their own external caterers for this service on their stands. Exhibitors must write to the ITMA 2015 Service Team with the relevant information of their chosen caterer by 15 September 2015. Exhibitors will need to purchase a catering pass from the Venue, and the cost of this pass will be published in the online Service Forms.

All exhibitors wanting to contract external caterers, install and operate a beverage dispensing system in their stands, or distribute food samples for immediate consumption, must ensure that the relevant statutory legislation must be observed and that the caterers comply with the legislation in force.

It is up to the exhibitor to inform himself about all relevant regulations, including those stipulated by local safety authorities, and to observe them.

Catering services from The Venue can be ordered through the Service Forms.

B28 Stand Cleaning

During stand set up and stand dismantling, general hall cleaning will be carried out by the Official Cleaning Contractor. Exhibitors are requested to keep all waste at the side of their stand next to the aisle for collection by the Official Cleaning Contractor. Exhibitors should not leave waste in the aisles.

During the exhibition, exhibitors must leave all waste in bin liners at the side of their stand for collection by the Official CleaningContractor(Exhibitorsmustdothiswhentheexhibitionclosesat1900hoursandmustnotleaveanywasteontheirstandduringtheexhibitionhours).Removalwillbedoneeveryeveningaftertheexhibitionisclosedtothepublic.

It is the responsibility of the exhibitors to clean their own stand every day unless they wish to order this service through the online Service Forms. Exhibitors are only allowed to appoint contractors licensed by The Organiser for such purposes. Any cleaning contractors not licensed by The Organiser will be asked to leave the exhibition area.

Bin liners and other cleaning goods may be ordered through the online Service Forms.

B29 Empty Packaging

Empty packaging materials will be collected by the OLC throughout the day during stand set up.

The storage of empty packaging, packing material on stands and outside stands in the hall or in the loading yard is prohibited. The storage of such items at The Venue is handled by the OLC appointed by The Organiser. This service is free of charge.

If exhibitors fail to remove items wrongfully stored despite having been asked to do so, The Organiser is entitled to have them removed at the expense and risk of the respective exhibitors.

B30 Floral Decoration, Furniture and Miscellaneous Equipment

Exhibitors can order such items through the online Service Forms.

B31 Storerooms and Meeting Rooms

There are rooms available at The Venue for hire for the entire period of the exhibition. Meeting rooms can be rented by the required duration, day or hour. Meeting rooms and storerooms will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, and can be ordered through the online Service Forms. Technical equipment and catering can also be ordered for the meeting rooms.

B32 Photography and Video

Only persons authorised by The Organiser and in possession of a valid Press Badge may film, photograph or make sketches or video recordings in the exhibition halls.

Exhibitors may photograph or film their own stand. Under no circumstances may photographic or other images or recordings be made of other exhibitors’ stands. If this rule is infringed, The Organiser can demand that the recorded material be surrendered and can take legal steps to achieve this. Photographs of stands which are to be taken outside normal exhibition opening hours and which need special lighting require the prior consent of The Organiser, and a securityguardmustbepresenttoensurethephotographerremainsontheexhibitor’sstand(aguardmustbehiredthroughtheonlineServiceForms).

Exhibitors may hire the services of a professional photographer through the online Service Forms.

CEMATEXandTheOrganiserareentitledtohavephotographs,drawings,filmsandvideorecordingsmadeofITMA2015, its stands and exhibits and they are entitled to use them for advertising or general press publications without the affected exhibitors being entitled to establish any rights whatsoever.

B33 Security and Security Personnel

The Organiser will provide general security at the entrances and in the halls. The Venue has a CCTV system which covers the common areas and main access to the halls. The Organiser offers no guarantee that the exhibition grounds will be supervised and monitored continuously.

The Organiser is authorised to implement any measures it deems necessary for monitoring and supervision purposes. TheVenueSecurityService,inconjunctionwithpoliceofficialsifnecessary,willperformrandomchecksonvehiclesand goods leaving the Exhibition Centre.

Throughout the opening hours of the halls, during exhibition set-up, show days and dismantling, exhibitors are responsible for the security and surveillance of stands and their contents. Exhibitors are advised to lock away valuable objectsbeforeleavingtheirstands.

Exhibitors can engage private security services should they require extra security for their stands, through the online Service Forms. No other private security services are permitted onsite.

B34 Temporary Personnel

Exhibitors may hire the services of temporary personnel, such as secretaries, stand hostesses and interpreters, through the online Service Forms.

B35 VAT Reclaim Service

The Organiser will provide a VAT reclaim service to foreign exhibitors and visitors who wish to reclaim the value added tax which they pay for their exhibition-related services. Additional information will be made available at www.itma.com.

B36 Intellectual Property Rights

It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to ensure that all laws relating to intellectual property are adhered to, and to guarantee thattheproductsdisplayeddonotinfringetheselaws(seeArticleA20ofthe“GeneralRegulations”).Alegalconsultantwill be available during the exhibition to advice exhibitors. Additional information will be made available at www.itma.com in due time before the exhibition.

Notwithstanding any of the provisions herein and for the avoidance of doubt, CEMATEX, TheOrganiser and thelawyersand/orlegalexecutivesretainedbythemtomanthelegalsecretariatandtoprovidegeneralinformationshallnot provide a particular or customised service but instead mere information provided “As is”, without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, title or satisfactory quality, as far as permitted by law. Consequently, CEMATEX,TheOrganiserandthelawyersand/orlegalexecutivesretainedbythemshallnotatanytimeandinanymanner be liable for any losses, charges, damages, proceedings, claims, costs or expenses of any kind whatsoever thattheexhibitorsand/oranyotherpartyshallincurorsufferbyreasonoforinconnectionwithanythingormatterprovided for in this clause.

B37 Services for the Disabled

B37.1 Access

The exhibition grounds are adapted for disabled access in accordance to the legislation that governs architectural features.

B37.2 Wheelchairs

Thereisalimitednumberofwheelchairsavailableonsite.Wheelchairsareprovidedfreeofchargebasedona first come first served basis. Exhibitors requiring wheelchairs could email their request to the ITMA 2015 Service Centre for more details.

B37.3 Parking

Special reserved lots for the disabled are available outside The Venue, free of charge. See also Article B41.1.

B38 Insurance

Exhibitors are required to have “property all risks” insurance during the Exhibition. Third party “liability” insurance will be provided for the Exhibitors by Fiera Milano. See below for details.

The liability of Fiera Milano or the Organiser to Exhibitors for direct damages is limited to the declared values of the properties present in the Exhibition Centre. The declaration of value by the Exhibitor shall constitute proof for this purpose. Exhibitor accepts this limited liability, waiving any right to any further claim. Fiera Milano or the Organiser shall not be liable for indirect damages, costs, consequential damages, damage to image, loss of profit or the like. Fiera Milano or the Organiser declines all liabilities to Exhibitors except in the case of wilful misconduct. (A)PropertyAllRiskInsurance

The limit of indemnity for the required property all risk insurance shall not be less than the declared value of the Exhibit (or theminimuminsuredcapital, ifhigher). The insurancemustcover“AllRisks”toallgoods,machinery,equipmentandset-upsattradefairsandshowsandbrought/usedintothevenue.Theinsurancepolicymustincludeaclause waiving all claims against third parties, including Fondazione Fiera Milano, Fiera Milano SpA, its subsidiaries and associates companies, Organiser, and third parties involved in organising the Event. It is not required for such policy to

cover Exhibitors’ transportation of exhibits from point of origin to the venue and back and exhibitors’ personal property such as laptops, computers and mobile phones. Exhibitors shall send a copy of their insurance certificate to the ITMA 2015 Service Team by 1 June 2015. Such certificate shall be accompanied by declarations signed by the legal representative of the Exhibiting Company and the insurance company stating that the aforesaid property is covered by the “All Risks” insurance for an amount no less than the value of such property, including the waiving of the right to claim compensation from Fondazione Fiera Milano, Fiera Milano SpA, their associated companies, the Organisers and any third party in any way involved in the organisation of the Exhibition, except in case of willful misconduct

ThoseExhibitorsthatdeclineorfailtoprovidetheirinsurancecertificate(ortosubmitaserviceformforinsurance)to the ITMA 2015 Service Team by 1 June 2015 shall be assumed not to have such insurance and shall instead be covered by the general policy provided by the Organiser. Such Exhibitors shall be automatically charged a premium by the Organiser’s appointed Italian licensed insurance broker, on behalf of the Organiser.

The details of such cover will be available in www.itma.com by 31 July 2015. Claims for damage must be filed at the ITMA 2015 Service Office as soon as the same is discovered. Failure to do somayresultindenialoftheclaim.Alossadjustermaybesentfromtheinsurancecompanytoassessthedamage. (B)ThirdPartyLiabilityInsurance Fiera Milano’s third party liability insurance will be extended to cover the Exhibitors. The aggregate limit of indemnity of such insurance is EUR 100,000,000. Fiera Milano will provide the details of such cover to the Organiser by 31 July 2015.

B39 Logistics, Freight Forwarding and Lifting

B39.1 Onsite Logistics Contractor

Note: Handling of stand-fitting materials is not included and will be invoiced separately by the official on-site logistics contractor.

• Exhibitors should refer toArticleA11of theGeneralRegulations, points1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11 and12 forclarification on the free of charge services provided in the stand rental price.

TheOLCexercisessoleliftingrightsontheexhibitiongroundse.g.loading/unloadingofgoodsvehicles,standstructures, etc. to the stands including the provision of any auxiliary equipment required as well as customs clearance for temporary or permanent importation purposes. Only the OLC may be appointed to render these services at The Venue. The Organiser assumes no liability whatsoever for any risks arising from the activities of the OLC.

All technical matters, for instance unloading and loading of all goods vehicles, providing cranes and forklift trucks for assembly and dismantling etc, will be executed exclusively by the OLC.

To facilitate handling operations and to protect machinery from damage during handling, boxes and machinery must be fitted with the necessary lifting points.

Boxes and machinery must be clearly identified by affixing identification labels.

Handling operations provided by the OLC will be carried out in accordance with the schedule created by the OLC and the ITMA 2015 Service Team.

The reloading of exhibits from stands onto the vehicles at the end of the exhibition will be carried out exclusively by the OLC.

B39.2 Guidelines for Deliveries and Collections

The timings for deliveries and collections are as follows:

To access and circulate in the Venue, each exhibitor and contractor must be provided with the appropriate identifying access badges.

The Venue’s Logistic Department sends each exhibitor an e-mail with a link they can use to preregister all their personnel and vehicles. It’s possible, but only as an emergency procedure, to issue the passes onsite, at the Onsite Logistic Office at Cargo 1, by demonstrating to be an exhibitor or an exhibitor’s contractor.

The Venue directly manages all issues regarding marshalling of vehicles, access to Halls, traffic inside and

outside the Halls and safety procedures. Exhibitors will be required to submit the compulsory forms for onsite logistics requirement by the stipulated

deadline. Exhibitors or their appointed freight forwarder will have to contact in advance the OLC in order to book any kind of logistics services

B39.3 Transportation of Machines and Other Exhibits

Goods without any exception must be sent “prepaid” including all other expenses to The Venue. The OLC must be notified well in advance through the online Service Forms. Exhibitors are free to contract their own freight forwarding company to handle their shipment up to its arrival at The Venue. Shipments for which the OLC has not been notified may cause a delay in delivery to the stand and possible additional cost to be incurred.

B39.4 Customs Clearance

Upon arrival at the marshalling yard reception office, the driver must provide all customs documentation, e.g. transit papers as well as a truck waybill and the combined invoice and packing list.

For shipments from NON-EU countries, the following documents may be necessary for customs clearance:

For Temporary Importation

All goods, whether from the EU or not, must be accompanied by a combined invoice and packing list which is specific to ITMA 2015. This document will be provided by the OLC. The OLC is also responsible for coordinating the temporary-importation procedures.

For Permanent Importation (Goods that will remain in the EU)

Goodswillrequireacombinedinvoiceandpackinglist(sameasfortemporaryimportationabove).

The OLC will co-ordinate the application procedure with the local customs authorities and take care of any necessary further steps.

Exhibitors who intend to import foodstuffs and beverages must liaise well in advance with the OLC to find out if those items are acceptable for import into Italy.

B39.5 Arrival of Exhibits and Delivery to Stands

All arrivals of exhibits and deliveries to the stand will be co-ordinated by the OLC based on the information provided in the online Service Forms. Exhibitors will be advised of the schedule for delivery of goods to the stands by the OLC.

All costs incurred as the result of late arrival, non-presence of the exhibitors and non-observance of scheduled delivery dates will be charged to the exhibitors.

All drivers must report to the reception office at the marshalling yard with all relevant documents in order to receive an access pass.

Co-ordinating the unloading of exhibits from goods vehicles and transporting them to the stands during the set up period will be carried out exclusively by the OLC.

The liabilityof theOLCendsafter thedeliveryof theexhibits to thestand (one timepositioning),even ifthe exhibitor’s representative is not present at the scheduled appointment. Additional costs is applicable for repositioning the exhibit if the exhibitor’s representative is not present at the requested delivery date.

B39.6 Packing Materials: Collection, Storage and Return

During stand set up, exhibitors must keep the empty packing materials on their stand ready to be collected by the OLC throughout the day.

Any packing materials left in the aisles will be considered as waste and will be collected by the Official Cleaning Contractor for permanent removal.

Empty packing materials are collected from the stand by the OLC after delivery and installation of the machinery.

Empty packing materials must be clearly marked with the stand number and company name so that they can easilybereturnedattheendoftheexhibition(labelswillbeavailable).

Empty packing materials will be returned to stands from 1900 hours on 19 November 2015, after the exhibition halls have closed, ready for packing from 0800 hours on 20 November 2015.

Empty packing materials are handled, transported and stored free of charge. No empty goods or packaging of any kind may be stored on the stands.

The OLC is not liable for any materials left inside the packing materials which have been declared and handed over to the OLC as empty packaging material.

The accumulation of boxes, wood, straw, cardboard, textile materials and any other items or materials, irrespective of whether they are flammable, is not permitted on the stands, in the aisles, in spaces between stand partitions or in the halls.

B39.7 Packing and Labelling of Exhibits

Exhibitors must ensure that all items to be sent to The Venue are suitably packed for transport up to arrival on thestands.Westronglyrecommendusingonlystrongpackingmaterialsthatcanalsobeusedforthereturnshipment.

All items must be labelled clearly with name of the event - ITMA 2015, exhibiting company’s name, hall and stand number. Packing materials must be in accordance to the ISPM 15 regulation. It is recommended that any item made of raw wood be fumigated or heat treated and marked accordingly.

B39.8 Cranes, Forklift Trucks, Exhibition Goods, Packaging, Goods Consignments

Exhibitors are not entitled to designate the ITMA 2015 Service Team as the consignee for goods consignments (exhibitiongoods,stand-buildingmaterials,informationmaterialetc)oranyotherconsignmentsthataremeantfor the exhibitors or a third party, except if the goods are meant for the ITMA 2015 Service Team.

The ITMA 2015 Service Team is not obliged, at the expense and risk of the given exhibitors and against reimbursement of all the costs incurred, to accept and store such consignments or appoint a forwarding agent to store them, in respect of exhibition goods and packaging.

No claims can be asserted against The Organiser to the effect that it accepted such consignments without checking their condition and completeness, did not check the cargo and forwarding agent invoices issued or did not store or keep the given goods correctly. Only such cranes, forklift trucks and work platforms as are supplied by The Organiser’s authorised service partners may be used. In special cases, the approval of the ITMA 2015 Service Team must be sought.

Exhibitors and their sub-contractors are strictly forbidden from using their own forklift trucks and any other kind of hoisting equipment. Provision of forklift trucks, cranes, etc. will be carried out exclusively by the OLC. The only exception is the use of hand pallet trucks, which may be used on the stands only.

Exhibitors should also note that under no circumstance is it permitted to unload and load vehicles containing goods by hand (manpower) and/or use pallet trucks instead of the OLC. This particular task is the soleresponsibility of the OLC.

However vans and trucks with tail-lifts can be allowed into the Venue if the items are fragile or items are lightweight, up to 15kg by hand. Examples for such items are flowers and plant, working tools, paint, carpets, posters, brochures or othermarketing collaterals, food and beverages (via local caterer), audio and videoequipment, computers and furnitures.

These vehicles must leave the hall immediately after these fragile or lightweight items have been unloaded. Please refer to B41 for penalty on exceeding the maximum stay limit

B39.9 Return Shipments

Exhibits will only be permitted to leave the exhibition grounds once exhibitors have paid all outstanding invoices in full. The co-ordination of the collection of all goods will be carried out exclusively by the OLC. The same procedure that applies during the stand set up period applies during the stand dismantling period.

The responsibility and liability of the OLC starts from the taking over of the packed, crated or skidded items at the stand.

B40 Storage of Demonstration Goods and Stand Supplies

B40.1 Guarded Storage of Operating Materials

Guarded communal storage areas can be ordered through the online Service Forms for storage of demonstration goods(auxiliaryequipment,rawmaterialsetc).Thisserviceisfreeofcharge.

Quantities and types of packingmaterialsmust be included on the online Service Forms to ensure thatappropriate handling equipment is available.

Raw materials used during demonstrations may only be stored on the stands in limited daily quantities.

B40.2 Storage of Flammable Materials

Textile Products

Flammable materials for demonstration such as cotton bales, yarns and other textile products are only permitted on the stand in the quantity needed for that day as declared in the online Service Forms. The rest must be stored outside the halls in the free of charge storage area.

Oil, Petrol, Liquefied Gases etc.

Flammable materials such as oil, petrol, liquefied gases and other flammable fluids and materials are not permitted to be stored on the stands, with the exception of the necessary daily quantity and in accordance with The Venue safety regulations.

Exhibitors must ensure such products are packed in suitable containers. The rest must be stored outside the halls in the free of charge storage area.

B40.3 Private Storage

Private storage areas are available for a fee and can be ordered through the online Service Forms. Exhibitors who wish to store their demonstration materials in these storerooms may apply for free delivery of these materials through the online Service Forms.

B40.4 Stand Deliveries During the Exhibition Period

Delivery of goods from the storage areas to the exhibitor’s stand is provided free of charge by the OLC for goods stored in the main guarded storage area and from exhibitors’ private storage areas. This service should be ordered through the online Service Forms.

Deliveries are between 0800 to 0900 hours and 1800 to 2000 hours daily. Exhibitors must notify the OLC of their delivery requirements by 1200 hours on the day concerned. Exhibitors wanting delivery from their private storage areas outside these times must provide it themselves.

Access to storage areas is limited to badge holders only.

B41 Road Traffic and Parking Regulations (Stand Set Up, Stand Dismantling, Exhibition Period)

Driving and parking any vehicle on the grounds of The Venue is at the driver’s own risk and is only allowed with a special permit, valid entry authorisation or valid parking pass.

The Organiser can however make exceptions and issue appropriate parking or entry permits. The Organiser is entitled to charge a fee for issuing parking or entry permits. The parking or entry permit is to be placed behind the windscreen of the given vehicle so that it is clearly visible. The regulations arising from the use of parking or entry permits require strict compliance. Parking or entry permits are to be returned at any time at the request of The Organiser staff deployed fortrafficcontrolpurposesorofthesecuritypersonnel.Parkingand/orentrypermitsareonlyvalidforthevehicleforwhich they are issued, for the day or period of validity and for the day or timeframe for which they were issued.

The Venue will impose a fine of 50 euros per hour if the maximum stay of 2 hours is exceeded. This ruling applies during the stand set up and dismantling periods as well as in cases where The Organiser has granted access to the exhibition grounds during the exhibition period.

The regulations by the Venue and Highway Code apply throughout the entire exhibition grounds and the exhibition car parks.Amaximumspeedlimitof30km/happlieswithintheexhibitiongrounds.Insidethehalls,themaximumspeedis10km/hour;thisrulingalsoappliestotherestoftheexhibitiongroundsduringtheactualevent.Pedestriansaretobegiven maximum consideration. No vehicles are allowed to access paths or areas that have been cordoned off.

Vehicles may only enter the halls for the purposes of loading and unloading. The stipulated load-bearing capacity of the hall floors must be noted and complied with, as must the height and width of the gates. Engines should be switched off during loading and unloading.

Parking vehicles in the halls is strictly prohibited. Once the vehicle is unloaded or loaded, it must leave the exhibition grounds immediately. Mobile homes and caravans may not be brought onto the grounds of the exhibition grounds for accommodation purposes. Vehicles are not allowed to stop under any circumstances throughout the entire exhibition grounds except in those areas designated accordingly. The Organiser reserves the right to remove at the expense and risk of the person responsible, driver or owner, any vehicles, trailers, containers, skips or empty packaging left in no stopping zones or otherwise illegally parked.

Particularly for the purposes of ensuring the smooth flow of traffic during the stand set up and dismantling periods as well as during the actual event, The Organiser is entitled to implement additional traffic control measures that require the compliance of all those present at the exhibition grounds. The Organiser reserves the right to regulate above all theaccessoftheexhibitorsand/ortheirstandconstructioncompaniesandothercontractorstotheindividualstands.We recommendmaking use of the entire period allowed for stand construction. Experience has shown that theexhibition grounds can be excessively full on the last few days of set up. No claims may be asserted against The Organiser if delays are incurred by exhibitors, their stand construction companies or other contractors because the exhibition grounds are overcrowded or due to measures implemented by The Organiser to control traffic within the exhibitiongroundsand/oraccesstothestands.

B41.1 Exhibitor Parking, Special Parking Requests

Additional parking for exhibitors: Fee-based Visitor parking: Fee-based

Free parking is available at The Venue during set-up and dismantling.

Company Coaches

Company coaches can stop to allow stand personnel to alight and board at the designated points. These buses may only be parked at officially marked bus parking areas. The ITMA 2015 Service Team has to be notified in advance in writing.

Special Parking Requests The car parks outside The Venue are built to enable disabled access and are free of charge to disabled

personnel.WheelchairsareavailableuponrequesttotheITMA2015ServiceTeam.

B42 Luggage Deposit Service Onsite luggage deposit service is available during show days, ie, 12 to 19 November 2015, 0800 to 2000
