    ABSTRACT-

    Wars are evolutionary, with each new conflict

    bringing more powerful and advanced weaponry.

    Weapons that yield success on the modern battlefield

    today can quickly become outdated and ineffective in just

    a few years. The reality of the battlefield necessitates

    continuous change in the pursuit to stay a step ahead of the

    enemy.

    This paper presents upragadation of Indian soldiers.

    It starts with helmet which has been equipped by latest

    communication system whose visor works a computer

    screen. It also includes integrated Thermal - Day/Night

    vision systems and sensors which sense the absence of

    required percentage of oxygen.

    Soldier is protected by liquid body armor which is

    made up shear-thickening fluid (STF), which behaves like

    a solid when it encounters mechanical stress. New breed of

    armor is being made from fluid called magneto rheological

    (MR) fluids.

    Exo-skeleton is human wearable robot which

    enhance the human capability by 300% is a mind-machine

    interface (MMI).

    Soldiers armor contains sensors which read the

    physiological status of soldiers and transmit the

    information to base station where it will be monitored.

    Soldiers will also be equipped by blue force tracker which

    will let him know the position of his team and other

    friendly troops. This together helps in proper execution of

    the troops strategy.

    It is scary that what other countries are trying for their

    futuristic soldiers, terrorists are already implementing and

    executing as seen during the Mumbai attack. It is time for our

    soldiers and anti-terrorist squads to get equipped with the mostmodern fighting and intercepting equipment to enable

    themselves to take on might of todays trained and mercilessterrorists.

    Tech Warrior- 2020 is such a vision that can protect our

    mother and motherland by strengthening Indian army by

    latest technology to protect the country from war threats

    by neighboring countries.

    So one attempt is made from our side through the

    knowledge of robotics, latest technology in communication,

    ballistics and human intelligence to save our country and

    valuable lives of our soldiers who are fighting day and

    night in battle field.

    This tech warrior is good illustration of synchronization of

    bio mechanics and robotics with all the latest technologyavailable .

    The helmet has 360-degree situational awareness and

    voice amplification.

    The Helmet will also eliminate the need for an

    external microphone. Sensors will be used that

    measure vibrations of the cranial cavity. This bone-conduction technology allows soldiers to

    communicate with one another, and it also controlsthe menus visible through the drop-down visor.

    The Helmet is also equipped with a 360-degreesituational awareness and voice amplification system.

    The Voice Amplication system will allow soldiers to

    know where that sniper or mortar round came from,

    but at the same cancel out the noise at a certain

    decibel so as to not cause damage to the soldier's

    ears. The situation-awareness technology also allowssoldiers to detect other soldiers in front of them up to

    a couple of kilometers away or focus in on a

    particular sound and amplify it.

    Suiting Up For Battle

    Integrated physiological monitoring, enhanced communicationand augmented physical strength will give the soldiers of the

    future the tools they need to overwhelm their opponents

    simply by donning a hi-tech suit. This suit

    integrates nanotechnology, exoskeletonsand liquid body

    armor.

    Body Armor :Indian soldiers in 2012 use Level III Bullet

    Proof Jacket (BPJ) which are inferior and cannot resist bullets

    fired from AK-47 rifle of which Hemant Karkareand Ajay

    Kamte were the major victims. Following are the other

    limitations of this Armor.

    LIQUIDBODYARMOR:

    With advances in ballistics, armies must developbetter body armor. One type of modern body armor, first

    developed in the 1960s, is made out of advanced woven fibersthat can be sewn into vests and other soft clothing. One type

    of armor, SAPI plates, or "small arms protective insert" plates,are hardened ceramic composite plates inserted into a soldier's

    fragmentation protective vest in both the forward and back

    torso pockets.

    The fluid used in Tech Warrior armor is shear-

    thickening fluid (STF). It behaves like a solid when it

    encounters mechanical stress or shear. In other words, it

    moves like a liquid until an object strikes or agitates it

    forcefully. Then, it hardens in a few milliseconds. You can see

    what shear-thickening fluid looks like by examining a solution

    of nearly equal parts of cornstarch and water. If you stir itslowly, the substance moves like a liquid. But if you hit it, its

    surface abruptly solidifies. You can also shape it into a ball,

    but when you stop applying pressure, the ball falls apart.

    The fluid used in body armor is made

    of silicaparticles suspended in polyethylene glycol. Silica is a

    component of sand and quartz, and polyethylene glycol is a

    polymer commonly used in laxatives and lubricants. The silica

    particles are only a few nanometers in diameter. This fluid as a

    form of nanotechnology.

    To make liquid body armor using shear-thickening

    fluid, the hardening process happens in mere milliseconds and

    the armor becomes flexible again afterward

    Now, work is going on a new breed of armormade from magnetorheological (MR) fluids -- liquidbody

    armor.

    One type of MR fluidconsists of small iron

    particles suspended in silicon oil. The oil prevents the particles

    from rusting. The fluid transforms from liquid to solid in just

    milliseconds when a magnetic field or electrical current is

    applied to it. The current causes the iron particles to lock into

    a uniform polarity and stack on top of each other, creating an

    impenetrable shield. How hard the substance becomes

    depends on the strength of the magnetic field or electrical

    current. Once the charge or magnetic field is removed, the

    particles unlock, and the substance goes back to a fluid state.

    MR fluid will fill small pockets in the Tech Warrior uniform

    fabric. The uniforms will be wired to allow an electrical

    current to pass through the fabric. The electrical current will

    be controlled by the onboard computer system and will

    automatically charge the MR fluid when there is a ballistic

    threat present.

    Exoskeleton :

    Superhuman strength has always been confined toscience fiction, but advances in human-performance

    augmentation systems could give soldiers the ability to lift

    hundreds of pounds using the effort they would usually use tolift a fraction of that weight. It is like a robot which a human

    can wear and enhance his capabilities.

    In the shoulder of the Tech Warrior uniform is a

    fabric filled with nanomachinesthat mimic the action of

    human muscles, flexing open and shut when stimulated by an

    electrical pulse. These nanomachines will create lift the

    way musclesdo and augment overall lifting ability by 25 to 35percent.

    "Think of yourself on steroids, holding as muchweight as you want for as long as you want," likewise exo-

    skeleton will also allow a 90 pound male or female to carry a

    A typical physical architecture is comprised of a

    set of body worn sensors, a data transport system or local

    area (body) network, a center for computational functions to

    take place, and a means to transfer the information from the

    body to some remote locationAn array of body-worn sensorscommunicates via an on-body network

    to a computational engine. This computational engine controls

    the on-body network, which aggregates sensor data for use byalgorithms and models that specify and predict warfighters

    health states

    Virtual Retinal Displays [VRD] can be used for

    helmets.

    The exoskeleton will have to be made out of

    composite materials that are strong, lightweight and

    flexible.

    The exoskeleton must have enough power to run forat least 24 hours before refueling.

    Controls for the machine must be seamless. Users

    must be able to function normally while wearing the

    device.

    The machine must be able to move smoothly so it's

    not too awkward for the wearer. Actuators must be

    quiet and efficient.

    Exoskeletons must be able to shift from side to side

    and front to back, just as a person would move in

    battle. Developers will have to design the frame with

    human-like joints.

    Further developments in MR Fluid can be made andimplemented.

    Smart arrows battery life needs to be increased.

    Conclusion :

    The beautiful flower emerged from the land speaks

    the fertility and power of production of the land, in the sameway this paper is an attempt to show the strength of

    knowledge, if it is put into use.

    Fields like communication, robotics, nanotechnology are

    just like oceans. But the present paper is a tiny attempt toshow the power of all these oceans combined together through

    our acquired knowledge. This tech warrior helps our soldiers

    to combat present days terrorists and war threats from the

    neighboring countries who are highly equipped and trained

    mercenaries, by modernizing our soldiers and enhancing their

    capabilities.
